Thank you so much for this video! I'm a new crocheter at 67 and bought a cake of this lovely yarn and then had no idea what to do with it. Thanks to you I've made a beautiful blanket for a little one in the hospital. I can't thank you enough!
I’ve used this to make one blanket for my year engaged and one for my first year married. Also using it to make a temperature blanket. I love how easy it is to set down and pick back up again
I actually ended up doing a modified version of this where it’s basically the same thing but instead of chaining two I do 3 single crochets. So it looks like you skip two loops and in the 3rd hole insert hook and do a single crochets, then two more single crochets and then skip two and in the 3rd hole do 3 single crochets. So it’s basically just single crochets instead of the chains. Comes out looking similar but a closer knit and less wavy.
Once again, thank you Jayda❣ I grabbed a cake of Mandala from my stash, not knowing exactly what pattern I was going to use. As always, you had the perfect video up for me! I crochet for a FB group that supplies preemies in the NICU's and I can always count on making something fabulous with your help. I love and appreciate you SO much 😍
I found this pattern and it is very easy to make. Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I will definitely make more blankets using this pattern. Thank you for sharing.
Just completed my first pixie baby blanket. I didn't have any Mandala yarn, but used Canan Gloria yarn from my stash. Its labeled a Number 3.3, so its just a bit thinner than the Mandala. It has been discontinued and I can't find it anywhere, but thank goodness I had enough to complete a blanket in white, baby blue, and yellow. Thank you so much for sharing this pattern with us. Your tutorials are superb. You are the best crochet instructor, in my opinion. Have a great day.
I’m gonna make this double the length and width with two cakes and keep it around as a light throw for the summer! I looove the simplicity of this pattern as a teen who hasn’t been crocheting long. You never let me down Jayda!
