Lawn dart alert! No, really nice tests to approximate the glide slope and wait to see next upgrade. Make skin thicker to hide servo lines and increase strength on impact for test 2.❤
Oh amazing! This will be in my downloads for sure...lwpla? Looks like it can be pla plus too...maybe the legit. Dual 50mm? Keep up the good work! I was surprised as u when you tossed it 👍🇺🇲👊
Set ailerons a little up for "neutral" position, then look for CoG. You will notice this after trimming at the maiden. First cog point with ailerons up will do the job.
Would be ideally 30mm edf. On Rcgroups, they managed to pull 240 gr of thrust with it with some mods. You could add tiny winglet near the canopy for even a cooler design
I tried 30mm edfs. They use ultra small connectors that don’t work with normal ESCs so you have to try and solder on regular connectors like. 40mm is the smallest I can work with
@@hotlapkyle Thanks for your reply. Yes, that's what they did, i.e. change the wiring and connectors and that involves soldering. Anyway, 40 mm should be great anyway. Good luck !
I would really like to see you print the Buggatti GP-100 Racer. I have tried to design and print it myself but no bueno. I would definitely buy the stl files for that one.
nice im very fond of forward sweep designs, this is your design correct? to solve the stability issue of forward swept wing just put a carbon spar or tube in the leading edge. technically the forward sweep increases pitch stability because it increases the chords length, but its still picky and also not easy to correctly throw a large plane like that.
I wonder if you can just print a top profile of the entire plane and use that for CG testing it would be faster to print too (imagine a horizontal cross section of the plane) edit: granted the body itself and chines could change lift
I am a supporter and always give you a thumbs up but you'd help yourself if you got a better camera setup. Maybe two cameras, one like you have it and one beside it pointing down a bit so we can SEE what you do with the plane? It's VERY frustrating to hear you describe what your doing but the whole POINT of TH-cam is to SHOW us. I've bought three of your models and expect to buy more so again, a channel supporter and a customer but the camera thing is really annoying.
Can't wait to see him fly.... !! Looks like something from X-Men..💥💥💥

I love the look of this
Thank you
Going to be a badass jet!!
Thanks
Very nice! Maybe a 5x3mm carbon tube up the middle of the belly?? Looks sleek af 🤩
The roll rate on that thing is probably going to be BONKERS
I'd guess the CG is an inch behind the two holes on top of the fuselage; There's a tip chord + root chord geometry trick that gets it close.
Looks like a fast flyer

Thanks, dual 40mm fly to start then maybe 50s 👍🏻
@@hotlapkyle even better! I have a set of xfly 40mm and esc just waiting for a new home 1😅

Need to look that up

Thanks for the great info!
My Smiggen 64mm flew it's maiden today!!! Two flights and it's earned some paint
Awesome!!
@@hotlapkyle Got plenty of video of the maiden too! :) Awesome plane!
Would be cool if you would build a SU57 greetings from Switzerland!
Actually call it the SR-76 as that is the designation of the actual aircraft! 😱😁🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇸
Good point lol 😂
💯😎👍

Yes I found even added a control surface changed the CG enough to mess up my X-36
Especially planes with forward swept wings. Even more CG sensitive
Wow
ну вы даёте.
Now make a vtol f-35
I have measurements of the cockpit fyi

CG too forward
probably won't break if you just put some bamboo skewers in the fuselage. Doesn't matter of course
