The algorithm brought me to your previous video. I RC too but wasn’t a subscriber. Just wanted to congratulate on the success and thank you for sharing the joy. I love this hobby. Awesome project
Great job, my friend... My imagination was running wild, and G.I. JOE popped in my head.. some great ones like the Conquest X-30, Phantom X-19, Storm Eagle fighter, and the Cobra Concord Z-25 Fighter Bomber. 🗣 COBRA‼️
Time to dust of the ol printer! This is one of the coolest rc edf builds I’ve seen yet! I would love to make one of these myself! And then try to make a bigger one, I also agree with you that it would be easier to fly if it was a bigger air craft! Thanks for sharing this awesome build with us! Cant wait to see what you do with it next! I’ve got a couple of bigger edfs from some wrecked jets that need to be put to use instead of just sitting in a box on the shelf! lol
That's just amazing, the Silhouette, the Sound all just a fantastic BATWING RC Aircraft! Well done for keeping at it. I've subscribed because of this video, and I can't wait to see more of the development of this build of a beautiful RC Aircraft. Well Done ! 👍😄👍
yes it was definitely pulling the canopy upward from surface drag... interesting how it reacted, probably its generating plenty of lift as well. this wing shape is supercool it seems to have some characteristics of a quad or tandem plane
What a beautiful aircraft you built...😁You definitely earned my subscription...😁👍🏾😊 Can't wait to see it completed with the black color scheme... Good job!... Thumbs-up for your video 👍🏾 You have a new subscriber here...👍🏾😁 Have a great day 😀 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵 👍🏾 😁 🇵🇷 Like#204
You should get a little Speedybee f405 wing fc for $40 and wire it so you can move it from model to model and use it on models like this. It runs INAV and once you have used one before they are super quick and easy to use, and would give you Autolaunch and a gyro. 👌🏻
Wonderful project Kyle!! I can only fathom that as a 64mm version, the additional size will add more stability and if you add a gyro, even more so. Looking forward to buying your files for this one!!
Ok, the behavior is called "Unterschneiden" in german, undercutting I guess... It results from mainly 2 factors: - soft elevator - aero elasticity First is just the faster you go the more the elevon is bent back and less effective. This is self amplifying as diving increases speed increases bent....... Be careful checking this, if you get to fast the only way out is half a roll and pushing The other is more complicated, basically switching airflow can change the behavior dramatically. This can be from local stalls on edges, flexing parts.... Twist is probably a good idea to add to your plane. Wikipedia -> wing_twist
Seems a slight tip stall issue. The weight is a little close to the max thrust of the fan but seems to be stable w/o too much aileron. Good job my friend. Looks amazing flying

it flys perfect 👌 ,I would also try to cut a small hole in the hood so that the air could possibly escape there.....thumbs up👍👍
Great design. Is the dipping caused by the inlet scoops? The bottom area looks like it would catch air differently... Oh I wanted to mention a filament to try named Sainsmart lite pla. Im printing full speed 150ms single wall on this stuff and it is awesome. The white is almost see thru and sands really well, this saved me hours of print time.
It seems like the wing and control surfaces are for more experienced pilots. It might be good to mention that in the description when you release the final iteration. Very cool jet for intermediate pilots. Unfortunately, I don't think Im good enough to catch this airframe when it's quirks try to bite me.
I'm surprised any batwing at all can fly given it's such an unusual wing design. With those twin bullet points out front I think the artists should have stuck closer to the original bat car from the 60's tv series with it's dual canopy. The dual canopies could have been fully inclosed for better air flow and could be streamlined into those twin points in the front. Maybe the next movie will do something different.
Wen a canopy flies off, your balance changes (especially with such a tricky chord and CG), AND air getting into the aircraft adds unfavorable performance. You need a better method of securing the canopy
Short stubby wings like that will drop nose especially in corners when making sharp turns and the speed isnt right. Might seem like its right, but only the wing knows the "right" speed. It's called a high speed stall. L39s, F18s, planes with small wings are notorious for this.
Super cool design cannot wait, if ESC is very close to servo I might install aluminium sheet in between Also this kind of airframe might need high speed for stability thus will try throttle up when turning 😊
I might have an idea. My composite SU-XR does exactly this - when flying close to level it just drops the nose. I was puzzled how come does your SU-47 fly so stable without a gyro, while my model does not, even with high gains gyro. Then I checked the dimensions - my model is more 'square shaped' and has a wider fuselage. I think it results in less stability in pitch axis. This model seems to suffer from the same problem. The solution - a gyro with MAX gains on the elevator.
I was thinking about this!! I also noticed it stopped on the last flight when I shifted the battery back slightly and trimmed down! I’m going to fly it again today and shift the weight back again
@@hotlapkyle That’s great, I have a 7yr old grandson who would really like one, I have two big 3D printers (400mm X 400mm X 400mm capacity) and he likes things printed on them. This would be great for him …… and me too 😋 on which platform will the files be posted on, Cults?
Make a better canopy latch and vent it right through the canopy. Also try to find out why the nose was dipping you were freakin me out 😆. I don't think those were stalls but it's a possibility you were flying it I think you would have said so. Lands like a pillow!!
The viper fucking blew thw hell up. It was mostly not my fault other than my speed thw radio cut out and it smashed in the ground so im thinking of putting the 70 in your planes but i font know which one i should ikvest in
Yeshua The Anointed One loves you and died on the cross for you. Yeshua means my salvation. ( saved from harm or destruction ). When you said Jesus Christ, I just thought you should know what it really means. You design and create a plane, Yeshua The Anointed One designed and created you. He loves you just like you love your son, keeping him protected from harm behind the netting....
It sounds Awesome, the design is Amazing, the flight characteristics are great and your Downed Aircraft Retrieval system, your son, is Spot on.

Time for a mini wind tunnel build so you can iterate even faster. Lol. Awesome work by the way! I am trying to kick the habit of tinkercad.
Haha I do need a wind tunnel 😁

You are a true artist. I thought the forward sweep one was amazing; this is unbelievable!
it flys so good.........then nose dives like a boeing..... 😁 Looks great in the sky.
That is sick. It does fly so good. Oh man paint that thing black and it’s good to go.

100%!!
PLEASE FPV THE CANOPY AND ADD THE DARK KNIGHT THEME 🎉🎉🎉 AMAZING BUILD 🙌🙌🙌
Good work dude, seems like it dips at highspeed,
I reckon maybe the longer nose has given the wind greater leverage, so when it gusts downward on the nose, it pushes the nose down easier?
Awesome Job I want One
It's great. Just dial it in and FPV it. You should even customize your goggles to look more like the Batman cowl.
That’s a cool over the top idea!
unfortunately it's more and more difficult to fly for fun these days...(too many laws and taxes...so sad...).
Great project btw
Truly a work of art, what are you printing on? Also, what are you designing the models on?
You could be the first to start doing flyable hobby grade super hero jets

I bet it's the tips if the bat wings. I wouldnt be surprised if you are getting weird behaviors from them

You will have to mass produce these

How do you troubleshoot and determine what’s causing the problems between the versions?
COULD YOU MOUNT A CAMERA ON THE BAT WING
But the question on everyone's mind: does it hammerhead?
I did hammerhead it my latest video a little bit. I’ll try again
Neat model, when will the files be posted?
Soon!

im wondering if flying right at the sun was messing with the signal to the receiver ?
