My account was actually one of the ones falsely banned for botting. I was cutting maple trees in Seer’s Village and all of the sudden I got logged out with a message that I’d been banned for botting. I cried so hard that day. I’d been playing for 7 years by that point and I was absolutely devastated! It was a dark day.

i was one of the ones who got banned for the botwatch. i was pissed when it happened.
i had to pause the video when you mentioned players turning off public chat and spamming μ to crash everybody because i was laughing too hard lmao

I’ll tell something interesting.
My original account that I had since 2007, was part of the 40000 accounts that were permanently. Since the day it happened, I never knew my account was unbanned until I tried logging in near the end of 2017. Looking at my old account made me realize how unlucky I was that day.

some people may need an extra cash.. he's not forcing any of us to buy it, so idk why the complaints. Also, he's made some good and very interesting content, i'm sure a part of his subs may find reasons to buy merch.

On an AZERTY keyboard the "µ" is actually right next to enter (instead of "\"). The glitch probably got "discovered" by someone hitting both µ and enter by accident, and adding 2 and 2 together.
3:55 the little u sign that looks like an upside down h is actually the symbol for "micro"
You forgot the max cash stack duplication glitch. People made billions and sold them on gold farming sites. it happened for a whole day before it was patched lol it's the reason why rs3 gold is so over inflated.
Makes you wonder if Jagex let the glitch work on purpose so they wouldn't have to battle gold farming on both games. Now gold farming is really only viable on OSRS.
Actually one person did it for a few weeks. We did it for a few days. The crucible version was leaked which relies on the same glitch and was patched within hours, not many people thought about using it at the duel arena before it was patched.

the "u crash" is actually the Mu crash, the μ is a lower case letter for M
It's a lowercase Greek letter.

that letter is the Greek letter "micron". It's used in mathand various sciences to indicate something that is at a micro level (micrometer, or 1 millionth of a meter, microsecond or 1 millionth of a second, etc).
µ is 'mu' which is pronounced "mew". Its the symbol most commonly used to mean micro, similar to how M is used for Mega so 1M on runescape is not M for million, it's an M for mega, just like how k means Kilo.
When PvP world's were first introduced players could put items worth 76k in their summoning familiar and die, losing nothing but gaining insane drops. I made over 400M before it was patched.

But every now and then I would play osrs to get some good vibes.
There's also the ring of wealth glitch when the reworked that. If you were on a lootshare channel and used a ring of wealth, it would drop the best drops possible every time. Heavily abused at corp for over 2 hours before it was rolled back.
I remember the botany bay glitch, it happened to me and it scared me to DEATH. I was just minding my business in edge when suddenly the huge "YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED" banner flashed on screen. Worst experience I've had on RS

just the thought of losing decades of our lives sounds terrible? we all did, EOC ruined the game, then os made us restart from scratch.. os shoulda let us have our items stats and qp that we had before.
yes. I stopped playing rs in 2009-2010, and I was happy when I discovered OSRS few months ago, but disappointed when I logged into my account to find out I had to start from scratch.

2:25 can someone tell me how one "maxed player" has a higher skill total level than another "maxed player"
In RS3 "maxed" usually means "can wear a max cape" rather than "has the highest level in all skills"
Some skills go to 120, but the cape only requires all 99s
So at the time total levels went up to 2496, but some maxed players could have total levels as low as 2475

When corporal beast first came out there was a glitch players could become invisible in the wildy, and would attack unsuspecting victims that couldn’t fight back
I remember trying to dragon slayer quest which of been around 2009, and remember when i logged back in after being dc'd i was stood back in lumbridge castle with my items in my inventory changed. I'm pretty sure this was a whole game roll-back (to what i thought was maybe an hour) has there been any other times that the whole game has been rolled back or was this what I experienced as mentioned in your video? o.O
There was a roll back when Dungeoneering RuneCrafting was glitched and it gave 10x the experience rates or something ridiculous.
There was a glitch when POH’s first came out if you had a house with a fencing ring you could get a bunch of players in the fencing ring get a specific player or multiple too 10hp poisoned with a DDS you would then kick them out of the house & they would be outside the portal 10hp or lower poisoned oblivious that they’re dying lol I had a few almost make it too falador bank running but GG pixels
its been a while but the fight cave glitch was when you left at the right moment and died you would respawn with the ability pvp still enabled quite and had to redie to disable my friend made bills off it and didnt get banned was epic
Castle wars had a similar glitch when it was launched to the fight cave glitch. You could attack people from the wall inside.

Any chance of a video on what I believe to be the very first RS Rollback? I'm not sure what date it was, but I do remember the game went down for like 2 days to do a rollback and people started spam complaining that they'd lost Phat sets and whatnot in the duel arena.. All I know is that I was getting 60 attack and all of a sudden the game went offline and I couldn't log in for 2 days.

Its really really hard to come up with solutions to stop cheaters in a way that doesn't impact innocent players. U see this problem in legal systems too.

Hmm intereseting stuff, I also remember being falsely flagged for botting (prob same one you mentioned at 2:44).
It was when Botany Bay was released, an island where bots would be teleported to and have some sort of trial where the public could throw rotten tomatoes, have pitchforks and decide 1 of 3 options how the bot would be executed.
Pretty funny, I was just minding my own business and suddenly got teleported to the dwarven mine with some other players, a giant devilhand came out of the sky and pointed at one of the accs that got tped and incinerated it.
Nothing happened to me though and I didn't get banned, I did get a weird message when I tried to use the bank or ge that said I couldn't use it cuz I used a bot. (my character said this out loud in public). Some people just said I had to relog to fix it and it worked. I also got spins :P

Do they still have a faulty botwatch? I remember going to sand crabs for my VERY first time on my account maybe 2 months ago. I thought it'd be a good idea while I watch a movie with my lady. Well, 20 minutes of getting crashed by a bot, I'd only take back the sand crabs that were suppose to aggro to me, so it looked like I was a bot because it looked like I had an assigned tile. Well, as the training goes on and the movie plays, I randomly disconnected thinking "oh, it's been 6 hours already" and try to log in. It failed as it said "Your account has been suspended". I went to go look at my account management and it said I was "INDEFINITELY MACROING/USE OF BOTS". I went to appeal and I couldn't! Their "evidence" was apparently that excuse of "Our moderators saw you macro and we know what botting looks like so here's that FAT L you asked for". Needless to say, I never go back to sand crabs. -.-

i actually found a glitch my self but idk if its relivent or not but in my vid on my page with the 99 mining party if u watch the end of the video i found a glitch be acident getting stuck into the wall of the mlm and then after words it alowed me to tele anywhere in rs and walk thru wall and even underground but when i logged out and logged back in everything went back to normal its only happend 1 time
