Enjoyed hearing your 2023 list of tobaccos. I’ve been primarily an English smoker, too, and have recently been trying more Virginia blends and burley blends. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
Ditto! First A Man Relaxes video for me. Long-time cigar aficionado. New-ish to pipes (despite my dad being an artisan pipe maker. (Dr Bob Pipes), so I appreciate this descriptive and well-presented top 10 list. Very useful! Liked and subscribed!
Great picks, man. Cloud hopper was a fantastic tobacco I got as a sample, and man, so much more creamy than I thought it would be. Old dark fired I had just yesterday, and what a powerful treat.
I have a few of those blends waiting for me to try for the first time, but I got to go through my jarred stuff first. A lot of people like the capstan blue. Thanks for sharing. Sorry for your loss.
Thank you for sharing. Not sure how much further you've gone with exploring VaPers, but if you like them and like Old Dark Fired, you should try G.L. Pease's Six Pence. I think its a great a blend!
I've got to say my favourite is. Samuel gawith American CC, it's caramel coffee it's simply amazing, the smell, taste, aroma, everything about it is a 10/10
I agree with your take on Pirate Kake - despite the reported amount of Latakia, it isn’t a Lat-bomb. And terrific on a rainy day. HH Old Dark Fired is one of my favorite blends. As is Bengal Slices. Can’t agree with the other choices - Capstan is fine but pretty staid. Good reviews and great style.
@@amanrelaxes Not sure how to respond. I don’t keep track of what is ‘new’ in a year, just what I have tried, and there is always something to try but it may have been out for a long time. Favorites new to me have been Doblone d’Oro, Viprati, Wilke No. 400, Hamborger Veermaster, Peretti Omega, Walais and Magnum Opus.
I just ordered the Sun Bear Tupelo. I went to a number of websites and they were all out! Thankfully, I finally found a site that had 2 left. I bought one. I'm excited to try this! Is this a seasonal tobacco, or becoming discontinued? or?
Sun Bear is a special release than only comes out once a year. Tupelo was the most recent release. I'm surprised you were able to get hold of one-good for you!
Awesome, thank you! We've been having highs of 2 degrees and whatnot out here, so I'm not sure when I will be able to get out to make another one, but we shall see!
Hey ya, first video of yours I've seen. Thanks for this list, a few I've put on my to try notes. And may I just say, your audio quality is simply amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed this. I'm new to content creation and learning as I go, can I ask what mic you use? Or is it editing software? Anyways, Happy smokes 😊
Welcome aboard, and thanks for watching and for the compliment. I use a shotgun mic-Rode VideoMic NTG. I also do EQing, noise elimination, and compression during the edit. I've produced some albums and EPs, so I'm familiar with editing audio.
@@amanrelaxes thanks, happy to be here. Oh, that explains it then, much more advanced than I'd even understand haha! Well keep doing what you're doing, it comes across as perfect sound.😁👍 Take care and see ya on next one
Fun video. Lots of good blends. Sorry to hear about your friend. Hope you had a great Christmas
Thank you! I appreciate it. I gotta see your top 10 video now.
Stokkebye English Oriental supreme is my everyday smoke. Still have to try the bullseye flake

Thanks for watching! Yeah, burleys are really wonderful as well. They tend to knock me on my ass, though, so I can only enjoy them every so often.
Tripped me out when you mentioned the middle fork camping, had no clue you were (or at one time were) a local
Yeah, I grew up around the Sacramento area. Miss my friends and family out there.
Really enjoyed your video keep it up I like your presentation style👍😎
Thanks so much! What was your favorite blend of 2023?
I like your laid-back and friendly sharing! I'm new to pipe smoking, and your descriptions are very helpful.
I'm so glad to hear it! TH-camrs were helpful for me when I first got started, so it's an honor to return the favor.

Great video brother and great to see you again!
Thank you! Good to be back at it.
Very interesting choices. Funny I've never tried any of them. I'm going to try some in my next order. Great video. Pipe on.
Thanks! Let me know which ones you decide to pick up.
I keep hearing about capstan blue, but the gold tastes so much nicer to me, but there you go horses for courses
I reviewed the gold recently and prefer the blue-but damn did I smoke my gold tin quickly. It's great.
Great picks, man. Cloud hopper was a fantastic tobacco I got as a sample, and man, so much more creamy than I thought it would be. Old dark fired I had just yesterday, and what a powerful treat.
I totally agree with creamy. Makes me want to drink coffee every time.
Capson was tokens favorite tobacco
That's the word on the street-great stuff!

Thank you. I'm in a similar boat with a ton of stuff in jars. This channel is sort of giving me an excuse to keep opening new tins ...
Great list! Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome. Thanks for watching!

I've continued to explore and enjoy VaPers-I'll throw some on the wishlist! Thanks for the recommendation.
You are fan freaking tastic yourself maaan in reviewing tobaccos!👌🤩
Well done👍☺️

Thanks for sharing! Haven't tried that one.
So sorry to here about your friend, lovely video like always, wish nothing but the best.
Thanks so much
You and relaxed Ryan need to make a cross over video. Both very soothing voices!
Can you link me to his channel?

Me to as well...I love Capstan Gold as well and may I suggest Amphora Virginia...it's great 👍!..my English blend is Squadron Leader.
I’ll certainly be on the lookout for Amphora. Squadron Leader is a classic. Good stuff.

Amen to HH OFD. That stuff is magic. What were some of your favorites of 2023? Any recommendations?
Thanks for watching and sharing!

Yeah, I also just go with what I tried. I have some of that veermaster ready to open soon 🤓. Thanks for the recommendations!
Was really looking forward trying the Bengal Slices, but my tin was moldy :(
Oh no! That's wild. Did you get it online or at a brick & mortar?
@@amanrelaxes At smokingpipes. Got a refund and ordered Salty Dogs, and Pudding Christmas Spirit 2023 with a Shire Cobbit :)
Oh good! How are they?
If you like Capstan Blue, try Peter Stokkebyes Luxury Navy Flake. It comes in bulk and I think it's just as good. (I like it better, or just as well).
I love the Bullseye and Twist flakes, so I will definitely give it whirl. Thanks!
Virginia Jazz sounds awesome.
It really is. Like all SPC stuff, it's a bit pricey, but I think worth it. I have 4 tins cellaring away at the moment (and will get more).

I don't like aeros either, but have you tried Country Squires Old Toby, it's impressive for an aero and imho superior to the two you mentioned.
Yeah, I have a video reviewing that blend. It was okay for me-maybe tied with something like Eileen's Dream.
very cool nice review
Thanks!
Tolkien’s go-to was Capstan.
I didn't realize-very cool!
Dude, what a lighter!
That’s new to me-
Yeah-love me a Zippo
Ashton artisan best blend in the world
💪 Thanks for sharing your pick!
does a man happen to be influenced by Game of Thrones or buddhism?
A man loves Game of Thrones, but the linguistic connection was quite an accident.
