Gaslight is my favorite for gloomy weather. Especially when it is a foggy day.
I've got a tin of Gaslight I'm looking forward to trying soon. I'll ai for a gloomy smoke
I'm liking how you review blends and provide recommendations. I just watched your top 5 blends for summer. Then this video popped up. Great videos. Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching.
A couple of those are in my favorites list. HB and PK are great picks for a gloomy day.
We must both have good taste. 🤓
All great picks! Warped Red Hunt would also be a good one for this list! Take care my friend!
I haven’t heard of that one before. What’s in that blend?
Haunted Book Shop, great choice. My all time favourite
Thanks!-it's up there in my top 10 for sure.
Hey man great list of gloomy weather tobacco’s! For me I’d add any iteration of SPC Plum Pudding and G.L. Pease Quiet Nights to the list. Love your channel
Totally agree with Plum Pudding. It was actually on my original list, but I had too many English blends (if there is such a thing). I need to try Quiet Nights again sometime. I remember giving it a go a few years back, but I wasn’t impressed enough to get another tin.
Quiet Nights has that special Latakia incense note in spades, gentle retrohaling it is a treat for sure.
Plum pudding is one of my favorites!
Nice list. I dont really think about deferent blends for different weather, but seems like hal o the wynd would be my pick. Have you tried any other warped blends. I tried kings stride and until the end and did not care for them, so im hesitant to try cloud hopper. That reminds me of anther good one. Billy Budd Blonde ( or Billy Budd). Nice pipe. What is it?
Thanks for the recommendations! I threw some hal o the wynd in my cart.
I haven't tried anything else from the warped series-nothing else has been recommended from it. The pipe is a Bari Special Hand Cut Rusticated Straight Billiard Estate Pipe I picked up from eBay-probably my favorite estate pipe I have so far.
And it just broke :(
New subscriber. Thank you for the recommends!
For sure! You new to pipe smoking as well or just looking for new blends to try?
@@amanrelaxes I’m 2 months in! My father smoked a pipe and it always was a fond memory and smell growing up.
@@DudeGarmr Welcome! Let me know if you have any questions / requests. I'm trying to make my videos more helpful to newcomers, as I've noticed they make up a large portion of my viewership lately.
@@amanrelaxes If you got any hints on scoring a Boswell pipe I’m all ears!! 🤣🤣🤣
haunted bookshop has great flavour! but it's really strong in nicotine. I prefer it in a small pipe for that reason.
Interesting. I am a self-proclaimed wimp when it comes to nicotine, but that one never hit too hard for me. It feels sort of the same level as ODF.
Maybe I’ll try, I love Lat among others, but smoke Nightcap 50% Lat, strong smoky and sweet and nic🔥
You talking bout the Pirate Kake?
@@amanrelaxes yes!
Oh, you MUST try it.
Nice video!
Thanks!
I've only smoked 3 out of the 5. ODF and HBS are two of my favorites anyway so I am familiar with those. Pirate ☠️ kake is also very good, but I seem to have ventured away from latakia blends.
Nice. Yeah, I've been really drawn to burleys and Virginia-based blends more and more this past year. I still love my latakia, but it hasn't been as much for me as well.
How about Old Joe Krantz?
I need to revisit that one. I tried it once about 5 years ago, and it FLOORED ME. lol. I've got some in the cellar though.
Nice video and i agree about the weather and certain blends just seem winter and others summer.
BTW what pipe is in video. i like it.
The pipe is a Bari Special Hand Cut Rusticated Straight Billiard Estate Pipe I picked up from eBay-sadly it broke a couple days ago.
Boswell's Railroad Station
GL Pease Cairo
I'll have to try those out at some point-thanks for the recommendation!
