Brennan, I'm using a 700r4 from a 90s Silverado. The driveshaft is the stock drive shaft (3 1/4 diameter) that I had shortened 2 inches to accommodate the longer tail shaft.
Nice. I’m also in NC wish I could get this done to my 81 Malibu.
do it, if i can, anyone can
Sounding great, what’s next on the agenda?
Randy, next is probably fixing the sloppy steering gear box, and then installing the rear suspension upgrade

Ladarren, its a 700r4 out of a mid/early 90s silverado 2wd. Originally turbo 350.
Did you do some adjustments to the driveshaft to make it work
sorry missed this, yes the drive shaft needed to be shortened 2 inches and rebalanced...i had a shop do this and replace the u joints for 100 bucks
