    After watching this video and after following the horrific story on Ruby Frankie and Judy Hilderbrand I'm becoming increasingly aware that mental health professionals can be dangerously crazy. Having a licence in mental health doesn't automatically mean that the person is mentally healthy.

      Unfortunately my experience in the military showed me that 90% of military wives don't view their husband's service (or mediocre paycheck lol) as sufficient motivators to stay faithful.
      The situation is made worse by the fact they live in a town that is 80% physically fit, testosterone-filled, lonely college-aged males. I learned to assume any woman within 20 miles of base was married. Even worse are the 'brothers' who couldn't care either way.
      I would say 80-90% of my friends' wives got caught cheating. I've never been married, I would like to be but that experience has made me very apprehensive/worried.

      @gr8-fun162 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Easy. Just be a typical woman. Women do not love like men do, and are ruled by their emotions. Like children, they are fickle. Once they decide they are unhappy, the switch turns off and they have NO consideration of the man and what he has done for them in the past. It's all about how he makes them feel in the moment. Mix that with female hypergamy, and she will always figure there is a "better option" out there for her. She'll dump the current guy in a heartbeat and have no second thoughts about destroying him in divorce court, or in this case, ending him. Because they don't accept accountability, she will actually find ways to blame the guy and justify her behavior.
      All that stuff seen in movies and in stories about women being sugar, spice, and everything nice, is just a fairytale. Never forget that.

    Proves my belief that many go into psychotherapy as a profession because they feel uneasy about themselves and want to know why

    • @Tified967
      @Tified967 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Whilst this is true we have to understand that psychotherapy is a postgraduate masters degree incorporating a lot of philosophy, psychology etc; it's an extremely demanding course both academically & mentally plus you have to undergo consistent therapy yourself to practice. The vast majority of the population have trauma in some form indeed it's a mark of resilience- we need some trauma as a prerequisite for healthy development. At least they're willing to explore & face that trauma whereas a high percentage of the population walk around completely unaware & with little self introspection. This lady is indeed an exception to the norm in psychotherapy.

    Having studied to be a therapist I can tell you MANY people get into the profession because they themselves need help. I confess I was no exception. Because mental health treatment is usually long and expensive, trying to cure yourself through self help shows motivation and initiative. I found, being emotionally damaged myself, I didn't like working with others with similar problems.

      @@nhmooytis7058 I am inclined to think Sam killed Marilyn and staged the crime scene. I watched a video where a former FBI agent said that F. Lee Bailey, while speaking to a group of law students had admitted that Sam was guilty. Bailey said he argued the case on the grounds that Sam did not get quote, "a fair trial". Maybe Dr. Grande can give his speculation on the case. Who do you think did it?

      @@rayross997 well my dad who was best friends with the BV cop on the scene and saw photos said it was the then Mayor of BV Spencer Houk because he was having an affair with Marilyn. (The cop thought she was beaten by someone wearing brass knuckles). My mom’s hairdresser said it was Sam’s mother because she had bushy hair! I’m honestly not sure myself, but I don’t think it was the window washer which was Sam’s son’s theory. My dad felt Sam got railroaded by Louis Seltzer of the Cleveland Press. When I was in HS my guidance counselor lived in the former Sheppard house which I found creepy. It was torn down some years ago...early 2000s I think.
