@@karennash2085 how they end up there is a simple and intuitive social mechanic we don’t talk about often enough and so I don’t think we guard against it like we should.
A high functioning person with dark triad personality traits will seek a profession that allows them to indulge their impulses.
It’s the same cause and effect relationship that drives an empathetic and caring individual to pursue a career in nursing, someone who has a fondness for children to go into childcare, or the kid who likes to dismantle gadgets to eventually become an engineer.
A socially integrated psychopath or sociopath will often chart a socially acceptable path to satisfy their need for dominance and power play by gaining arbitrary authority through their profession. This is why we end up with more than a few bad cops imo. This is why you see police work and military service among the top desired professions of serial killers.
In some instances they become politicians and CEOs because they lack inhibitions, will do whatever is necessary to obtain the status they desire, and have unbridled ambition.

I think there is more to the story too. There must be a reason why the DA was upset that Eric supported his opponent in the election. He certainly could not expect everyone to support him so why was he particularly upset that Eric supported his opponent.? I certainly do not think that eliminating someone who is trying to destroy your life because you supported his opponent in an election is a narcissistic reaction. I think it's normal acceptable reaction. It would be cowardice to do otherwise.

Fortunately the individual who had initially used his position to, (let's just be honest) torture me died of a heart attack and the other party who was a judge got caught interfering in a custody battle and was removed from the bench and skipped town to avoid the shame and I couldn't find him. these are the people making and enforcing the rules.
i saw a video just yesterday, a very recent video, where 3 judges incited a street fight against 2 innocent bystanders, two of the judges ended up getting shot in a clear case of self-defense, but because of who they were, the shooter got scared and ran, and sold the gun, and ended up getting 8 years. all 3 judges lost their law licenses.

I'm a UK based Forensic Psychiatrist, I'm always intrigued about how much overlap there is sometimes in these cases with individuals with High Functioning Autism. There is limited developmental history in this case, but some his early behaviours (refusing to make contact with dirt, insist on being dressed in white) appear more consistent with Autism than Narcissistic PD.

I did see just some personality characteristics that I thought were not - pleasant . Didn't know very much at all about narcissism until God put my Google finger on my keyboard and ....the dangerous side of narcissism is rarely actually discussed so thank you for this video and for your affirmation of my "gut feelings." Never heard of communal narcissism......just WOW. I like you more everytime I watch you. This story demonstrates how those in power (cops, prosecutors, judges) happily play fast and loose with the law on a daily basis, selectively choosing what to enforce and who to punish based on their own whims.
This is the system working as intended.

I was a high school English teacher and had this diabolical student who was in and out of alternative school for his violent antisocial behavior but the government decided it was a “good idea” to mainstream him. One day in the course of classroom discussion I found out he wanted to be a police officer. He stabbed a sped student in the ear with a pencil while my back was turned writing on the board and was only reprimanded while I was removed from the classroom. I guess I got lucky and never returned to teaching but I shudder to think of him attaining authority status. Ironic to see them all lumped together to battle out their mental retardation like the Wild West.

Dear Dr Grande a great checked shirt, for a checkered man. Here in Australia an assistant to a judge is called tip staff. Victimization on the level of obsession is very unhealthy all round. Pity - his poor wife was co=opted and is now doing a long stretch. It is unlikely that his wife would have ever seen inside a jail if she had married someone else.

Hi Dr. Grande. I emailed you 6 months ago and never got a response, so perhaps I'll try just leaving a comment here. My email was about something else, but now I'm asking if you can do a video on the Christopher Gribble (aged 19) and Steven Spader (aged 17) case? They (and some other friends) attacked a mother and her 11 year old daughter at a random house they picked. The mother died from 32 machete and stab wounds, and the daughter miraculously survived. Gribble is an interesting character. He had an interesting testimony. He was diagnosed with ASPD, but I wonder how much of that was acting. There is also an interrogation video. Lots of sources for you. Thanks. Love your videos!

Sounds like an intriguing case. 🤔 Best of luck. I agree that a video on his one by the doc would be interesting. 🙂 I've posted a few times regarding the case of Allison Weaver, asking Dr. Grande to do an analysis. Seems a case right up his alley. But no response. 😒 I haven't been able to find an email address anywhere. Guess I'm just missing it. What IS his email addy? I know he gets lots of suggestions in the video comments. And likely gets tons via email (what ever the address is). I wonder if he chooses them based on people who pay to his Patreon? 🧐 Being a disabled older fella living on a disability stipend I can't afford to contribute to any of the channels I watch. Maybe that's why ours and many others' worthy suggestions aren't chosen, we're not PAYING for a video analysis? I'd hope that wouldn't be the reason, but given the two-tier for-profit mindset countless social media folks have...🙄 Well, good luck. 😶

He got justice for the injustice that had been perpetrated on him. These prosecutors got what they deserved. If our system cannot dispense justice and prevent the abuse that prosecutors like these practiced, then individuals are justified in exacting their own justice. Our system is broken. Period. There is a law higher than those of governments.
