Thanks for your review. I just bought a 2025 GV80 Coupe. I have driven all the other competitor coupes, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes 53 & 63. I like the design much better, especially the rear end. I’ve owned the BMW X5, the Porsche Cayenne, the Mercedes GLE 450, and the Audi RX Q8. The technology is awesome, and this vehicle comes full loaded compared to the competitors, so it does provide value. The twin turbo V-6 engine with the electric supercharger producing a total of 409 hp far exceeds my needs and expectations. Love the 22” wheels with the Michelin tires. I drive a lot so far in Sport, which I find to add the fun element to the drive. There is also a Sport Plus mode too if I’m so inclined. Overall this is the best coupe package in my view, and am really happy with my purchase.
Nice review. I have a 2022 GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige and it has been excellent, mileage not so much, but I knew that going in. Love the new GV80 Coupe exterior, but I honestly prefer the old interior without the panoramic screen, same for the GV70, give me the separate infotainment screen, and hooded instrument cluster, cleaner and less distracting to me. Genesis pricing back in 2022 was very aggressive to buy market share and introduce the brand (my GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige was $64045, now they're over $70K), the GV80 Coupe is a worthy competitor to the Germans, but not so much a bargain anymore...........
A truly beautiful vehicle. I really like the satin paint. A very nice looking back end. Love the quad (dual?) exhaust. Wish they could have some space inside for a compact spare tire. Tire mobility kits are basically worthless in my opinion. Wonderful interior in that red color. Don't care much for all the gloss carbon fiber black plastic which show fingerprints, scratch's, etc.
I guess I must be in the minority here.. I can't stand this suv coupe trend. I think they look terrible ever since I first saw the X6, and they haven't grown on me yet with any brand or model. Love Genesis designs but even this GV80 coupe doesn't appeal to me.

Impressive specs but difficult to justify price tag especially compared to other brands BMW & Mercedes
We haven’t loved the most recent BMW and MB we’ve tested as much as this. It’s just a different vibe.

It’s real carbon fibre
I’d say ALMOST perfect. Still no wireless CarPlay and in 2024 I’m growing tiresome of cables. Great review
It’s an over the air update that just hadn’t come out yet when we had it.
@ yeah…had the regular 80 last week and same thing. (The Royal Texan)
GV80 Coupe is for a luxury ride, only dumb people wished it was faster. For racing get a GT-R R35.
