- This is my first attempt ever at making a video for TH-cam. I've had the MAC for two years, and only used iMovie for the first time today.... so, not too great, but not THAT bad either. Going to miss this lady forever.

Dusty was the greatest female singer that this country has even seen.
I had the privilege of meeting Dusty back in 1982. She was a guest appearance of a local radio station in Southern California. I knew the radio jock, Charlie Fox, and he introduced me to her. I was blown away as I only popped up for the radio broadcast. When I realized that it was thee Dusty Springfield, I was in heaven. Just thought I'd share this with Ya'll!

I'm only 20 but I adore soul music and she is my favourite soloist. I wish I was a bit older so I could've appreciated her in the 80s and 90s a little more.

JUST ONE AMAZING LADY. even now in 2011 theres talk of a movie about Dusty.Her memory lives on forever.
Its a shame that more people have not seen or heard this wonderful mix of Dusty. Thank you so much from a child of the 60's and 70's.....It brought back all my youth and I cried.
Yes she died very young from cancer....and she was originally in a group called the Springfields..she was also gay.... An amazing person and an amazing talent. RIP Dusty your voice is with us forever.

There were only ever two, Dusty and Kathy, both with fantastic voices and stunning good looks, this is my favourite amongst many, I fell in love with them both when I was just 14 all those years ago, nothing has changed and never will. R.I.P Beautiful lady.x

She was truly a diamond in the ruff. She was unique in almost every way. Dusty is a persona, not just an amazing voice.
Some people dont realise how special and influential this lady, nah soulful deva was in here day... without her mowtown would have not have made a succesfull british tour... maybe could have even been more obscure without the love and nurtureing of this beautifull woman... rest in peace and love Dusty xxx

Best song of all time more or less.. and only cause of her rendition and delivery. The other versions are nowhere near it. I can't imagine how this would have went down at her funeral cause it's heartbreaking enough as it is on its own!

love the photos of all the aspects of her career. You did a great job! Saw her in the 80's at some gay club in LA. She was simply amazing, as she would be! Being a cancer survivor myself, she fought the good fight. I heard about her death in a gay bar in Key West Florida, and my friend and I did shots and beers for a couple of hours and then went back to our B&B to watch the cable news and find out more about her death.

All you need to do is keeping watching her music videos, listening to her hundreds of recordings, and checking out her interviews to see what she was all about. There are thousands of them here on You Tube. She left a real Legacy. She probably wouldn't believe all of the You Tube coverage. Also, she had four t.v. series. Some of that is on You Tube as well. Dusty is timeless.
