    USMC 91-96 (0311 Rifleman) Gulf War, Somalia, SWA. Medically separated for injuries sustained in Somalia to feet and legs (20% rating). Was told to never mention I was broken or had a disability rating when I got out, would ruin my ability to work in law enforcement. Went on to 15-year career in LE..could t continue due to health issues. Have been dealing with severe health degradation for 26 years and just recently decided to start using VA medical benefits. I have tried to initiate a claim thru local VSO and it has gone nowhere. Need help…want to be around for my wife and kids. Semper Fidelis

    I was in the Persian Gulf in the 80's while the Iraqi and Iranian war was going on and while the two of them tossed mustard and sarin bombs back and forth, while on my first tour I had coughed up flesh and blood for 2-3 weeks... I developed chronic sinusitis, asthma, fatigue and migraine headaches, but VA doesn't consider this to be in anyway connected??? WTH

      Put in a claim. Get all your evidence from your doctor and put it into an impills claim. Don't stop until you get them to react. You are initialed for a percentage. You are a Gulf War veteran. Sind VA, also your DD form 214 . Only a copy, you are initialed to a percentage rate .You deserve it. Desert storm was not , a joke.

    Troops file a claim by Aug 9 to be awarded pay back to Aug 2022. Even denied gives us another year to work on paperwork. An intent to file won't back date to 2022. The Registry exam is useful to document the problem list and snowball dates to refer you to VA medical and mental with a problem list. Trick is to have the filled form in hand and reference it as I noticed the PA asked some curve ball questions in a way that if you say no then you may deny a broader scope. I referred the PA to actually read the 10-9009A form I filled out. I used Adobe Acrobat trial to convert the form to a fillable form. Also the exam guy must give you a final report via mail. My guy never mailed it, BS'd, and emailed it with an apology.

      @VAClaimsInsider  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We only get paid if you get an increase (and only with NEW money that you didn’t have before)!
      There aren't any upfront costs but when you win, we charge a portion of your increase. Our veterans say the fee is worth it, considering that so many of them spent years fighting for their benefits to no avail. If we don't increase your rating, we get $0. Take a look at the details here >> vaclaimsinsider.com/price-list/
