Love your energy guys, especially seeing Thailand through fresh eyes. Reminds me of my first few visits to Asia and why I made Bangkok my home - now in its 11th year! Have a great 2022.

Happy New Year to you!!
Hi Guys, did you both uses your backpack , check in or hand carry on?
Always carry on luggage only 🙂
hmmm those clothe package packs looks interesting , can compress youre clothing better and you dont have to pull out stuff so mush when you need sumting , there cheap too on aliexpress , need to see wat sizes i need for my suitcase and clothes , they have ones with a double zipper that compress to half the size
wow 80 dollar a day , then again its the two of you and probably includes hotel stay
didnt knew you stayed in the netherlands too , im from the netherlands and the reason why i dont go on an actual holliday in the netherlands is because its verry expensive here , (anything at all , it being : public transport , food , any sleeping accomodations , clothing , taxes , tickets (for speeding parking in the wrong spot riding youre bike on the sidewalk making too mush smoke when cooking in youre backyard that sort of stuff and they give you a lot of those compared to any other country in the world ) , concerts or venues , hospital stay , basicly anything , and its getting ore and more expensive every year because they keep changing laws and rules
im allways feeling like a millionair when im in asia after living in the netherlands for all my life
the only good thing i can think of about the netherlands is that prostitution is legal and regulated , visting a beach lake or a forrest or the dunes is free (though parking cost an arm and a leg if you can find a spot) its mostly flat country so it eazy to get around on a bike and everyone is taken care off (well they mostly whont die of starvation)
The packing cubes are definitely nice to have. The $80 a day includes all expenses including health insurance and the plane tickets. If we didn't move around so much, we could probably do it for less than $50 a day.
We really enjoyed our time in The Netherlands. You are right that it's very expensive there, though. We would have run out of money very quickly if we stayed too long. What part of the The Netherlands are you from?
Happy New Year!
@@OnePackWanderers im from haarlem , its somewat in between amsterdam ijmuiden hoofddorp and zandvoort
petty that i didnt knew about youre channel when you where here as i might have been able to have you crash at my place making youre stay at least a bit cheaper
there are some musea's here that wouldve been worth visiting , like teylers museum wish is about the oldest science museum in the world and madame tousau wax stature museum , the cruquis steampowered waterpump (one of the places that pumped the water away from the lake where i live right now it was basicly the bottom of a lake / swamp ) some of the beer breweries the red light district the bloemenhof (huge tulip fields) the bloemenveiling (where they sell the flowers) and some of the smaller tourist places like the torture museum and the sex museum (not as bad as it sounds trust me )
wow if the 80 dollar includes the tickets youre being pretty frugal or just dont spend a lot once youre at the location and stay at one place longer than i figured , i was budgetting about 30 to 50 euro per day without the plane ticket from the netherlands and back , i might be able to live cheaper once im in thailand if i can find hotels that are a little cheaper per night than the ones i currently find online
(the lockdown still means that some hotels took there websites for booking rooms offline so its hard to compare prices)
the reason im trying to gather as mush info on places to visit is mostly to find cheap hotels nearby so i can move around every so many days from one hotel to the next in bangkok and beyond and dont spend as mush on public transport to still see most of wat i want to see , still trying to get some sort of roadmap planned out but the amount of days per place will depend on how mush i like it there
the fact that i like to be pampered (read massaged) eats a big part of that budget
i think by the time im ready to travel back home i be flexible enough to take pictures of the back of my neck from between my legs
realy realy realy looking forward to visit thailand though it will take about 2 more months for tickets to become available for the months i want to visit there
i saw the newyear celebration at central world in bangkok on youtube yesterday and im planning to be there with them next year , i just hope that by that time corona will be a thing of the past or at least become innocent enough to be ignored
