As Thai , when Thai travels in the Northern part, we usually find the homestay or guest houses on the mountains for stay because the most highlighted destinations in north is mountains. There are many villages on the mountains which I can recommend you to go and stay for a night to face with the spectacular mountain atmosphere in the morning. For example, Maekampong village in Chiang mai . It is one of the beautiful place to visit, especially in the morning to see the sea of mist . In this village, there are many things to travel too such as water fall, nice and cozy local shops , and beautiful nature.
The White Temple looked so different from when I was last there - about 10,000 less people. Whilst being sad to see the country with so few tourists, it must be an amazing experience right now

that temple is beautiful in its own way good call on stopping , a mushy front brake basicly means that the brakefluid is cooking and a little further you wouldve had to rely on the rear brake only its a reason why shifting bikes are better in the mountans , you can downshift and get youre hand of the gas , the engine will brake the bike down the slopes , you dont have to use the brakes so mush
The hands that you said are creepy have a meaning though. It signifies the hand of the dead from hell asking for good merit from the living. In short, it means you should do good deeds when you're still alive.

When you bike in Thailand. At the red light, when it turn green count 1-3 And look every way before you take off. There re many cars always running red light here. Be careful. Have a safe trip.
Did you get a 2 hour Thai massage yet? I get one every other day when I’m in Chiang Mai. The6 even have them at 5he Central Airport and Central Festival malls.
I was involved with refurbishment of their first coffee roaster. The old red one (GW Barth of Germany) if you went to that building. The coffee is pure Arabica. I was involved with the founder the late Wicha (Richard). The logo was the village head man.
I enjoyed the video. Very well done. I am glad you are really experiencing and enjoying Thailand. My only advice is be very careful on the bike. Motorcycles in Thailand are extremely dangerous. Larger vehicles have no respect for bikes. Be careful.

I hope you are able to slow down and savor places a bit more. I love your videos but at times it feels like you are still a bit in vacation mode as opposed to travel mode.But you are getting there LOL The joy of travel is there is no hard fast time line, just follow your nose. You chose a much better scooter, and of course the eye protection. Next is sensible shoes, you don't want to go down with flip flops on yikes LOL. Looking forward to your next episode

It is some of the best coffee we've ever had. We both used to work in coffee and Doi Chang impressed us a lot!

I took a bus to Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai in 2010 and I think it took 3 hours and was super curvy mountain roads
