As a slightly more mature (aka older) traveler, I think a huge benefit to the question about what you might find rewarding about the youtube channel is the fact that you will have a detailed record of your time traveling. As we get older our memories of specific details fade, but with you recording and documenting your travels you, and friends and family, in the future will be able to look back and see all the rich details of the time you spent. While it is a lot of work, I think there is a lot of value in that.
I love the 100 country goal. Me, I am 65 and made that number as my goal when I was 18. I'm now at 85 countries (recently added Kosovo and North Macedonia) and it has been sustaining through all these years of a long-standing marriage, a family and a full career. If you two make it by ages 35 and 29 as you aspire, rock on! Of course it doesn't matter when, goals are guide posts.
I found you guys when I was planning my trip to Japan and let me just say I’m so glad I did. You inspire me to travel more, I’ve already booked my next trip. Your personalities are so uplifting & genuine and seeing your success these last couple of months on TH-cam makes me so happy, you deserve that 1 million plaque! 2023 is going to be huge for you guys! Sending all my love from the south of France. Also hoping I’ll be able to cross paths with y’all one day.
Deciding to travel while you are young is the smartest thing you two could have done! I am 72 and didn't start traveling until I was in my 50's and I regret waiting so long. There are just so many things you can't do physically when you get older. I still enjoy traveling but, again there are just somethings I can't do that I wish I could. I love your Vlogs. Keep up the great work and enjoy!
I’ve been watching your guys channel since you were only a couple hundred subscribers and it’s been amazing to watch you grow. Excited to see you guys tackle that 100 country goal. I visited Colombia for 2 months last year and it was incredible. Don’t sleep on that country!
Yessss your goal should be to visit all 190 countries! :) And will get your million subscribers concurrently! HAHAHA can't wait for that for you. Explore the world!
Patagonië and Chile thin about this the most beautiful places there. Lots of Tia for scale she can run for miles. Keep up the good work can not wait for the next one 🙏🙏🙏🙏🌴🌴🌴😁
Found your channel randomly and really enjoy it. I don't subscribe often but will hit the button for you guys. Thanks for being so honest and interesting.
Hey guys thanks for bringing the world for us to see. I live in the bush and cant travell the world so you guys by watching your travells i am travelling with you in the comfort of my granny chair. Much love and stay safe and well in your travells. Cheers from Australia 👍🍻🥧
Interesting to watch your Q&A. I was especially interested to hear that you have a target of 100 countries by 2025. My wife and I have been to 81 countries, so we understand what a challenge that will be. Part of our travels have included South America (Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Columbia). I think you will enjoy those trips - especially to see Machu Pichu.
I appreciate that you are both somewhat budget conscious travellers. Some other TH-camrs I was watching started off being really interesting but now found some success and just do sponsored luxury travel that is unrelatable and not as interesting to me as more realistic travel
You two are my favorite TH-camrs. I came across your channel the first day you arrived in Korea. Since I am planning a grad trip for my daughter in May, I usialy stoo witching when TH-camrs leave Korea. However, I continue to follow you two because you appear genuine. Keep up the video. Safe safe.
I’ve only recently discovered your channel and am thoroughly enjoying your travels. Please don’t do the 100 country thing. It’s getting a little clichéd. Keep doing what you’re doing and that’s discovering the world, cultures and people. Delve deeper into each country rather than spending only a few days here and there. It’s the narrative around the experience not just the experience itself. Btw. Would highly recommend Argentina. Spent 3 weeks there just before the pandemic and loved it. The north is desert. The south (Patagonia) is ice. Such extremes in one country and the food is amazing! Value for money will also work in your favour. Keep up the great vlogs and having fun along the way!
Love your travel blogs especially you two have so much positive attitude together, I have watched all your travel blogs. Taiwan, it is a beautiful Island, the Formosa. I was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. By the way, 7-ELEVEN is better in Taipei. In any case, I am willing to support you guys 70 COFFEEs if you stay ONE MORE WEEK in Taiwan; with half of daily travel budget come from my heart. (Remember, traveling around north and south of Taiwan is a real treat if you dare to try and you will love it.) Patiently waiting for your reply. Cheers, Thomas Young
Come to Colombia, it is very cheap for you with the current exchage rate. Bogota (and villa de Leyva, barichara… ) Medellin (and guatape, el oriente antioqueño, Santa Fe de Antioquia) Cartagena, santa marta, la guajira y el eje cafetero
Stumbled onto your channel and loved it. From someone who just sold his restaurant to travel, I would say you definitely made the right decision to travel first than start a business. You can always do that later. Enjoy your youth and your travels. Could you list the hotels you stayed at?
Love you guys! Just rewatched a bunch of the Vietnam series since I was feeling nostalgic. Definitely excited for you to do South America as well (Patagonia adventure??) We’re headed to Colombia at the end of the month after 4 years without travel. Excited for this new year of adventures for you and the goals you have planned.
Subscribed! You guys are very relatable and transparent. It's very refreshing especially with the number of travel vloggers these days. Would also love to know which hotel you guys used in Taiwan as they look very cosy :)
Good luck with all your plans. Everest Base camp is a serious hike, starting at around 3,000 metres above sea level to over 5,000 metres, you need to be physically fit, and the air is very thin, so it will be hard on your lungs. I hope you can do it but please make sure you are physically able to do it. If you can't, you can still go to amazing Kathmandu. Looking forward to your next adventure.
It's been great following your adventures this past year. It motivated me to go to Thailand this past June for 5 months. I love it so much that I'm going back again this year for a full year. After that, I'm hoping to see more of Asia and then the world.
Reportage al Peru (search on youtube) is a good resource for traveling and deciding where to go in Perú. One thing i suggest you add to all of your plans is the possibility of all of your plans to change completely. Thank you for sharing. Enjoy yourselves.
Have you ever watched the Jet Lag series on TH-cam? I love how they have random challenges to do and think it would be cool to see you knock out a random challenge for each country you visit!
Nice Q&A you two . You say South America soon but really you haven't been south of the equator very much if at all . Australia , New Zealand , South Africa are waiting for you :-)
So excited to see your South America content. We were in Chilé and Peru a few years ago. Would HIGHLY recommend getting to Easter Island if you have the time/ $$ 😊
I think some ideas that come to my mind to keep things sustainable is finding your way to getting more sponsors. VPNs, travel groups, hotels, country tourism boards, charities or orgs... If you can sell yourself to them they can carry you super far. Hope the growth continues! Good luck guys
Yeah if you can organise some smaller places to stay in advance like homestay/ smaller local hotels that they would have you there for coverage of the place etc for a discounted rate be great and then you get those more local experiences like in Vietnam. Maybe try get some sponsorship from the people that make your packs, shoes as you have them I’m most videos things like that be great for you guys and them.
Dynamic duo is a force of positivity on youtube , makes the world a cherrier place likewise Lisa and Josh , everywhere in the world a happier place with them
100-country-goal: there are 15 isle-countrys in the caribean sea and on top of that another 8-10 countrys in middle america. Another Traveltip: if you visiting the iguazu waterfalls in brazil, you can visit another 2 countrys besides that in one day. (Argentina and Paraguay) If you travel the silk road, you have first of all amazing food and second: lots of ex-soviet countrys to explore, which are safe to travel. (Kasachstan, Kirgistan, Usbekistan etc) And there are not that expensive as european countrys
South America is great I enjoyed Cusco Peru immensely and Manchu Picchu. I also spent time in Santiago, Buenos Aries and Colonia (Uruguay) which were all very neat! Great food and wine scene too!
Hey I went on y’all’s website to see all the video things y’all have bought and love that you guys broke down the total amount! Super helpful but was wondering what camera do you guys use now? I can see a camera upgrade and am seeking a new vlogging camera! Thanks in advance!
Ahh so exciting!!! 😍 LOVE the 100 country goal! We also really want to go to Nepal (Everest base camp trek sounds AMAZING! 😍) and we also somehow haven’t been to South America either! 2023 is gonna be an amazing year - can’t wait to see all the new countries you go to! 😍
Just got back from backpacking in Argentina for a month. Research the blue dolor and the new credit card mixed exchange rate before you go. Also see if you can get a last minute deal on a cruise to Antarctica when in Ushuaia. IT WAS AMAZING!!!
Absolutely love the channel guys. Glad to hear you have plans to go to Nepal! My girlfriend and I visited Nepal a couple of years ago as part of our round the world trip and we were blown away by it. Bandipur & Ramkot (between Kathmandu & Pokhara) is a hidden gem there FYI! Keep up the awesome work 🙏
Hahaha it really is the most succinct answer I can think of. Hippies love to give their kids unusual names and to the best of my knowledge that’s what happened 😂
Your goal should be go every where and meet everyone. You can’t go wrong with that goal. Would love to talk about South America but I hate typing. . Basically go Panama -Columbia -Brazil Manaus and head south to Uruguay Paraguay argentina Chile Peru and bobs your uncle. Ita matrix flight software and a pile of others including fuel dumps
We are not familiar with her videos, but will check them out! It does seem a bit tougher to find videos on parts of South America in comparison to, say, Southeast Asia. So thank you! 😊
Please do more Q&A's - enjoyed watching this! Wishing you both the best in achieving your 100 country goal 😊, happy to have discovered your channel from your first Japan video and looking forward to the new adventures. If you wanted another question... Where in Japan (outside of Tokyo) would you say was your favorite/coolest place to visit?? I am so envious that you made it to the most Northern & Southern points of Japan haha
So sad I missed it. Must have Ben great meeting Tias family and spending time together. I think 1 thing I absolutely like the most both of you can still laugh after all these videos and during them [ sure hope that makes since ]. I see you needed a kick / inspiration to travel f/t and so happy you both did. WOW only $$18.00 for 2 cavities. I laughed out loud with Tia when the marriage question came up. Was Singapore more expensive then Japan??? [ I have only Ben to Japan and find that hard to swallow ] I Wonder why 2025. Congrats on 100 countries and 18 months. Bloopers made me laugh. Absolutely Outstanding and loved every minute.
Hi guys 🥰, surprise to know you are still in the Asia area .... Have a fun time and hope to see you in singapore (*oppss about budget), if there is a chance :)
Hike to base camp 🥳🥳 So looking forward to that one. Now approaching my late 50’s, that is my one bucket list regret not doing from my early 20’s. Not that I have lived by a bucket list…. I just don’t know how else to express my feelings. Hubby and I have also preferred to walk unknown places too, so totally get that. Would love to see any future multi day hikes you might want to do and film. Perhaps one in Japan now that Tia’s parents are living in Japan, and you will probably visit more often. Or come here to Australia 🇦🇺 and hike the 6 day Cradle Mountain overland. Hubby and I did it 7 years ago with a guide and stayed in the private huts to make it easier, but that costs a fair bit. Our son did it the following year solo and stayed in the public huts and it’s costs very little, but you have to carry a lot of equipment.
Cradle Mountain looks like an incredible time. Would love to do something like that. We are really contemplating Australia right now. If we can figure out how to budget it, it’s happening!
@@OnePackWanderers HCMC, but we left just over a month earlier and travelled from Hanoi down (not on bikes unfortunately). We left England in July last year 😁
I would love to go to South America and Africa but seems to be too risky, but then again that could also be just the media. Oh, and you guys have inspired me to travel again, will be heading to Singapore and Indonesia next month....cheers you two 🙂
I really enjoy your videos. You're both so adorable. Yours are the only q&a videos I watch 😅 Are you planning to go here in the Philippines? Siargao, Cebu, Palawan are some of the good options... And maybe you can tag me and my boyfriend along haha 😆
I had implants got done in VN. The cost was 20% compared to US. The dental office is very modern and the service was very good 👍 Haven’t seen you guys for a while! Good luck with your journey ❤
So my Gf and I are doing the same thing you guys are! We have spent a significant amount of time in South America. If you are on a budget, we recommend to spend no more than 2 weeks in Chile at the most!!! It was more expensive than the EU countries. Santiago is not worth spending more than a night or 2. Asunción Paraguay is a Gem, and the prices are ❤. If you love to eat and drink, and I think you do, it’ll be interesting! Bogota deserves at least a week, and while it’s more developed than Asunción, it’s about as cheap! If you’re coming soon, avoid Peru. There’s a lot of issues with the country, especially if you’re heading to Lake Titicaca or Machu Picchu. People had to be evacuated via helicopters recently, and the locals are forcing airports to close for weeks at a time. While it’s pretty in Peru, maybe next time, or hopefully it’s resolved if you come in a couple of months. Montevideo is also very expensive, but it’s a beautiful city worth at least 3-6 days. Buenos Aires is fantastic, super cheap if you have some cash on you, as it can be exchanged for the more favorable Blue Dollar. If you don’t have cash, you can use your Visa Credit cards or Mastercard, and the conversion rate is about 10% lower than the blue rate so it’s not a bad back up! All in all we are now on month 6 of this continent! While it’s not the EU or Asia, it’s worth some time!
Let's do the math... Early 2023 to end of 2025, that's more than 2 years, almost 3 years, but writing off a few months for breaks here and there, let's say you guys have 2½ years remaining. That means you have about 130 weeks. You two want to visit 100 countries. Right now let's say you are at #30, meaning you have 70 more to go. If you spend 2 weeks in each country, you'd need 140 weeks. You guys will overshoot by about 10 weeks ie. 2 to 3 months. Only. I still think that's very good. For me you'd rather overshoot by only a few months, instead of resorting to shorten the duration per stay, just because you want to meet the dateline (that sounds too much like working on one project after another as a salaried staff for a company!). 2 weeks will let you explore and experience more, ie. each visit would give more meaning more satisfaction. You two can do it! 💪💪
@@OnePackWanderers love it! You’ll definitely love the beaches, culture, hospitable people and definitely the food there. 7,100+ islands…I am sure you will enjoy the beaches there.
What toothpaste do the both of you use? Tia’s teeth is especially white. Also, you can still do a coffee business. Maybe online. Or maybe a coffee review on all the top coffee joints worldwide. Would be cool.
Here's what I say. In business, we do things to make profit. NO ONE would do business to loose or to make it even. Don't be mistaken. I'm not saying you are wasting time of your life here. I just want to know how you feel. What are you spending your time of your life to travel for your fulfilling, not future.
Each South American country has its own charm! I am Taiwanese but living in Peru. Welcome to my home country and I hope you enjoy your time there. For South America, between May and October is the best time to visit the Andes (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia). Between November and February is good to visit Patagonia (Chile, Argentina). Apart from the mountains, just come to visit whenever you feel like it, there are always things to do here. There are rainforests, good beaches, exciting cities, and interesting cultures. The only thing that needs to be considered is South America is huge (I did not even mention Brasil yet, the size of Brasil is larger than the contiguous United States!!!), so you will need lots of time to really explore this continent.
It is too late question if you could count this next time… when you guys are not filming or free time, do you listen to music? If so, what is your favorite songs?
Am hoping u can answer this question please. I just found ya on here. So pleased that I did. I am leaving Osaka tomorrow for Taipei and wonder if you were required remove your shoes at security? The google search is not updated enough for my question. Hope yall do some more night market food. Thank you. Happy trails in all of your travels.
I think so many of your followers love you guys and enjoy your channel so much (like me) that we would like to gift you donations for things that might be out of reach due to cost. Let your viewers, like me, know what you guys would love and link to a donation site to receive support! 🎉❤
The woman books all hotels! Men only need a bed and shower...women look for sq ft, a place to sit off the bed, closets, etc. Whenever I book the hotel the wife tells me what I didn't get with the hotel...🤔😁 Don't fall for the go to school, get a job, retire at 65. By 65 you have put the best years of your life into your job. You can always get a job. Better to travel and work after 65.🤣🤣 learn to build cash flow. Buy rental property with positive cash flow then have it pay for itself while you travel. When it is paid off you will have all the rent for yourselves...in retirement. Everest base camp? Bring drugs...immodium, anti biotics, pepto, etc...just saying.
As a slightly more mature (aka older) traveler, I think a huge benefit to the question about what you might find rewarding about the youtube channel is the fact that you will have a detailed record of your time traveling. Yall editing BY YOURSELVES ON THE GO is absolutely insane! Massive props for being able to do that!
The Annapurna treks are the most amazing in Nepal
Let me second the comment about Vietnam... I too am going to take the plunge and do a bike trip sometime in 2024! Your trip showed me it can be done!

Loving the Taipei vids folks. We are filming in Taipei for the next two weeks, then Bangkok all next month. If we cross paths let’s hang
welcome to taiwan
Taiwan is the best
Love the transparency guys!
I love watching your videos, I've been catching up on them recently. The Vietnam series helped sway my decision to move there!
Woo! That’s so freakin’ cool! What part of VN did you move to?
@@OnePackWanderers HCMC, but we left just over a month earlier and travelled from Hanoi down (not on bikes unfortunately). We left England in July last year 😁
@@lottiehughes7709 That’s awesome, you guys. We thought if we moved to VN that we’d choose HCMC as well.
Loved the q&a! We're looking forward to following your 2023 adventures 🥰
Thank you for your transparency! Safe travels and good luck! I have been enjoying your videos.
Do you guys follow Sammy and tommy at all? They just did a series travelling south America they are great.
Sammy and Tommy (TH-cam channel) have travelled and are travelling through south america
Thank you for the tip! I think we have heard of them 🙂
Like #46 from Gilbert, AZ.
The dental office is very modern and the service was very good 👍
Haven’t seen you guys for a while! Good luck with your journey ❤
it was good for you to get done. I heard that doing some for health care is risky too.
Love you guys ❤thank you for all the care and planning you are putting into this!!
Thank you for the wealth of tips! Can’t wait to dive into the continent 😊 Also had no idea Chile was that expensive! Gotta keep that in mind.
@@OnePackWanderers No worries! More than happy to help with any other help, especially in the South American Continent!
love y’all, so excited for your future trips 🫶🏻
Love your channel guys. Suggestion...Philippines!
Philippines will definitely happen. We want to save it for a time when we can really slow down and enjoy the beaches 😍
Peru is the best country in South America to visit ;)
It is too late question if you could count this next time… when you guys are not filming or free time, do you listen to music? If so, what is your favorite songs?
Am hoping u can answer this question please. I just found ya on here. So pleased that I did. I am leaving Osaka tomorrow for Taipei and wonder if you were required remove your shoes at security? The google search is not updated enough for my question. Hope yall do some more night market food. Thank you. Happy trails in all of your travels.
Hello Katherine 😊 We were not required to remove our shoes at security from Osaka to Taipei. We flew with Peach Airways.
@@OnePackWanderers Ahh thank u so much for your reply! great to hear :)

Please dm me if yall are back in Singapore, would love to go for a drink with you guys!
would be great if you guys don't do the touch and go style of travel which I see most
I think so many of your followers love you guys and enjoy your channel so much (like me) that we would like to gift you donations for things that might be out of reach due to cost. Let your viewers, like me, know what you guys would love and link to a donation site to receive support! 🎉❤
‘When are you getting married?’ What on earth?? Y’all are so nosey, leave these kids alone and enjoy the adventures lol
The woman books all hotels! Men only need a bed and shower...women look for sq ft, a place to sit off the bed, closets, etc. Whenever I book the hotel the wife tells me what I didn't get with the hotel...🤔😁
Don't fall for the go to school, get a job, retire at 65.
No one asked... How many times Tia have been stopped because of her little "criminal" record? 😂
now china is open and you should make a plan, you will easily spend 3 months in china and still a lot too see.
