Okay. I have never seen The Mandelorian, or any clips prior to this. Werner Herzog is one of the last people in the world I would expect to act in a Star Wars spinoff. His presence elevates anything he is in. I'm sold!
I’m not sure it elevates it to anything beyond a source of money for Herzog. Which I am always happy about. Mr. Werner should get as many coins as he needs for his movies and living his later years in comfort.

Not to run down Moff Gideon (I mean, wow. They got Fring) but I agree. "The Client" was underused, he had much more threat to offer. Especially as he wasn't even present when Mando redeemed "The Sin". Although, Star Wars' best characters are always the ones used most economically. Remember when EVERYone loved Boba Fert? Plus Moff Gideon nonchalantly taking out such a legit threat without a second thought set him up nicely as main villain. Damn, Herzog could sell his character though. The Client wasn't a bad guy, but he was a guy who was prepared to do bad things to innocent people in order to make good things, as he saw them, happen. The most believeable villain: the one who thinks he can fix the world.
