    Hard to believe that we've lived to see another spectacular film from you mate. This was incredibly good and smooth. The high level of detail and creativity you put into this is just out of this world. I hope TH-cam's algorithm promotes this masterpiece into the home page for you to gain at least some rewarding return for the countless hours invested into this. Would love to also see a behind the scenes video.

I remember you watching your videos when I was around 5 with my older siblings, laughing so hard. Most brickfilms nowadays are much shorter and very rushed, but you put in the effort that no one else does and pull off anl nearly impossible task- creating a meaningful story without words, using characters with limited expression-you never rush and take the necessary time and effort to create a perfect BrickFilm. I thought you had retired, but you just used that time to get so much better!

      @@LeggAnimations piece of advice: your thumbnail doesn't do the video justice. I scrolled past it multiple times having no idea it was an epic stop-motion action film. I thought it was some sort of commentary on random LEGO parts (the 11-minute run time implying that it couldn't possibly be high-quality stop motion) . It was only when I saw that you were the uploader that I decided to click on it. And holy crap, that was not what I was expecting to witness. It was glorious.

      The slime was fun 🦠 had it raised up on some plexiglass so I could illuminate it a little with light underneath. Having things sink into it was really tough though. But yeah I’m planning on doing a BTS! Thought it’d be cool to show the before & after with some of the raw footage too.
      Thanks for the feedback- any idea what would make a better thumbnail? Just an actiony screen grab from the video? I thought I was making it interesting with the flaming robo arm center stage and Obi with the plunger head. Does it look too staged or something?

    • @BrotherhoodWorkshop
      @BrotherhoodWorkshop ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LeggAnimations Awesome! Can't wait to see how this masterpiece came to life!
      As to thumbnail suggestions, I think my main issue is that the current thumbnail doesn't feel very exciting. The character selection is great, but they're all roughly the same size, the lighting isn't super interesting, and the background doesn't tell me much about what to expect. If I were designing the thumbnail, I would make Anakin much bigger on screen left, and have the glow from the fire-arm be much more dramatic. I would set this against a contrasty background, (maybe the frame at 6:40, where we have the dark gray rocks and vibrant green slime) and then add Kenobi with the plunger on his head screen right, about half the size of Anakin. IF there's a way to include a lightsaber or laser blasts too, that would also be helpful (implies both action, and that this is a video where VFX are utilized).
      That's my 2 cents! I've recently been studying thumbnails as lecture prep for a college class I'm teaching about making online content, but haven't had a ton of opportunity to test out what I've been learning. So take my opinion with a grain of salt.

    It’s nice to see someone still makes animations longer than 2 minutes

    Years ago, I ran my own Lego stop motion channel and that was difficult enough for videos just a minute or less. This guy is literally amazing! I can't imagine going through breaking those many Legos on purpose though haha
    Edit: Le frick? This dude filmed storm trippin? That's the reason I got into stop motion!

    This has got to be the highest quality Lego animation I have seen in a long, long time. I looove the way you tied it into the one-off line in Revenge of the Sith, that was so clever and I honestly didn't see that coming

    I am in shock. This is the absolute best short film I’ve ever seen created with these little plastic bricks. I’m amazed- and surprised you haven’t already been swept up by Lego to work on their video games or something. This is genuine talent.

    I can't believe I didn't realise this was about the business on Cato Nemodia until I watched the end part. Incredible vid btw, the production value, comedy and story were all nothing short of unreal.
