@@dengen324 Going woke was easier to discount the fans reactions to low character development, and gave rise to blaming the fans for not accepting the 1D characters they were churning out. It just takes too long to make money with character development. If they can shame people over developing an audience they (thought) they would make more money faster, and score points with the Left who was giving them money during Covid. They became in affect propaganda for Left leaning causes - because it was easier. They don't realize fans have a choice and will leave beloved IPs when not treated right. Hard lessons, lets hope they realize what is happening before it is all burned to the ground.

when you have a great actor and the realisation has the freedom and the gut to "play" with it and let him do his thing, it can creates miracles.
For that you need a great cast, that works together and finds that alchemy, you need a production that let´s them impersonate the characters and play with it, you also need a story that allows it.
We are lucky all was there for these MCU series of film.

They could have re-shot the "I am Iron Man" scene and kept 2 alternate versions of the ending for us to discover in the dvd/BR release.
This kind of improv has huge concequences for the plot and the production itself. RD Jr took a million gamble on the spot.
The credits goes to the writters because they are the ones supposed to build the story around this drastic change.

From the scuttle i heard, before Iron Man rdj wasnt having a great time. Respected by his peers, battled his demons, but wasnt where he thought he should be. He saw a comic book movie and muttered under his breath, "I can do that."
    Yes, yes he did.
I like to think i have a lot in common with Robert. Im taller and have a deeper voice, we are both consumate improvisors, but we come from a similar place. I never want to meet him--never meet your heros--but he is an absolute inspiration.

Robert Downey Jr brings LIFE to his characters! That's why we love his performance as Tony Stark. It is too bad that we never got to see a Ryan Reynolds vs RDJ on screen in the MCU. Maybe this might be something possible for the Multiverse? Like John Krasinski as Mr Fantastic.
