There's little/no incentive for a man to work long hours in difficult jobs to provide for a society that at best ignores him, and at worst is openly hostile towards him.
There's little/no incentive to date or marry because of the ever decreasing positive return-on-investment that relationships offer the average man.
I don't know about the "we don't need you anymore" part since that's just a minority opinion, but there is a problem of guys feeling that dating is a waste of time due to politics and social media.

This is honestly pretty sad because the problem isn't even understood by a lot of the people commenting on it. It's not a case of "men want something to fuck because they can't get laid." Men are also human & crave intimacy & touch, not necessarily associated with sex. Sometimes it is a simple pleasure just to have a warm body next to you when you wake on a cold winter morning. Ever since feminism took hold, society as a whole has stopped holding women accountable for their actions. The result is that most modern women never mature past their teenage years. They grow old, but never grow up.
I really dont think people understand just how actually awful it is. Men have just checked out. We work, we eat, we sleep then we die. So I can't really blame anyone for having an AI girlfriend to take their pain away temporarily. A female friend recently asked me if I'm not going to look for a new girlfriend again since I've been single for over a year now.

I worked IT for an office of all women a couple years ago. About 20 of them and no men. It was like a reality tv show with how much conflict there was. Eventually the company downsized to about 6 women because of covid and the company started making more revenue because there was less fighting. Alana's right on the competitiveness thing, and it's usually over random stuff that seems small but just hit them the wrong way at the time. It's not even competition over men or pecking order stuff, it just happens almost spontaneously lol

Part of the problem is that women seem to specifically be socially competitive which means there is only 1 hierarchy where men compete in specific skills that can have different winners (best fisherman, woodworker, mechanic, chess player, etc)

Fuck, let's forget about A.I. girlfriends for a second. You know how few people have regular ass friends now? All of my high school friends are all over the country. All of my college friends dropped off the radar or ditched me because they don't like people having different opinions online because everybody is crazy now. I'm married, I have a family, but I'd give anything to just spend all night shit talking with my friends about Space Godzilla while eating pizza again.

I was getting the family breakfast at a diner the other day, taking it back to them. This guy came in with his wife and son and he said my shirt, which had the cover of Mega Man 2 on it, was really cool. We somehow got talking about how our sons both loved Five Nights at Freddy's and how two year olds are the absolute worst and I had a solid five to ten minutes conversation. That was the most human interaction I've had with someone who wasn't related to me or medically treating my son in years.
What really sucks is that in college I knew tons of people. I did stage shows. I write about video games and shit for the school paper. People liked me. Or at least, I thought they did. Then social media happened. The thing that was supposed to bring us together. I'm mostly libertarian, I don't care what you do in your personal life if you don't screw with mine. But all of my friends either thought I was way too right or way too left and started ditching me when I was like, I just wanted to play video games, guys...
It sucks to be lonely. It sucks even more to know the reason why and not trust anyone anymore.
@@kylewilson9260 I feel for you. I had things a bit better in college but I had issues that made it hard to get out there. Playing dnd regularly with discord friends has helped. I have trouble reaching out to try to do things with people each day though.
It can be easy to just want to deflate after work for me so I don't even want to play a game with somebody or try to find new people.
I hope you end up finding a way to socialize more though. I tried AI and they lack the intelligence to be interesting to talk to unfortunately. I also dislike that most need me to set up everything about them. My favorite part about talking to people is to learn how different they are from me when it comes to experiences, opinions etc.
Most tests I did show me as libertarian as well. I think most people are somewhere in the middle and don't mind most of what others do. Sadly social media and the mainstream make that hard to believe.

Its not that men are less emotional, its just that men operate on a more logical level rather than the emotional one that women very much tend to do.
Not to mention that society tends to take a massive dump on men that actually do show their emotions, outside of the ones that are masculine in nature.
I wouldn't say that men are more "logical", but rather that women use more abstract thinking and men more concrete thinking(on average). Logic of men tends to make assumptions based on few very well defined points of data, while women utilize tons of smaller data points to paint out the picture, meaning use intuition.
Using a computer analogy abstract thinking is like cluster of small CPUs that while each individual one only does small calculations, there are a lot of them. None of the data points are analyzed particularly in depth, but the processing speed is blazing fast and it can give better vertical understanding of all the data. While concrete thinking is one or two massive CPUs that brute force their way through the data one by one. At the same time concrete thinking is very dependent on the quality of the data available and can fail if there are too many unknowns.
Main benefit of abstract thinking is that it is very adaptable and general purpose. You can form some kind of a semi educated opinion about pretty much anything using intuition that will probably be kinda correct, but it will rarely be as in-dept or accurate as an opinion derived from concrete thinking. Concrete thinking is most useful in making decisions where you don't have any room for mistakes, while abstract thinking excels at more numerous but casual decisions without earth shattering consequences for getting it wrong.
Of course both sexes are capable of both modes of thinking and both modes are logical in their own way, but the sexes do have some differences when it comes to which one they prefer more.

I find it offensive and stupid when people say we men have no emotions. we have them, we are aware of them and we use them as advisory tool. We are in control of our emotions instead of our emotions being childishly in control of us.

I've started working out at home because I'm an introverted guy with self-esteem issues. Meeting and befriending new people in person is difficult for me. There's no way I'm approaching women looking for a date with the stuff happening recently, even if I were further along and in better shape. I make a mistake in who to trust, and suddenly, I'm in debt hell for years.
As for close friends, I'm fortunate to be in the 5+ category, but those are all childhood friends from elementary to high school. No friends are more recent than those, and all are guys. I could see other guys having less, depending on their circumstances. People move away, cut contacts, and only associate with new people if necessary.

Good point. It's not like your data isn't already out there being bought and sold and traded daily. If you have signed up for anything anywhere online you just have to accept that your data is not and never has been secure. This generally leads to depression, not a "higher drive". Lack of validation, lack of support, etc. when someone is down rarely pushes them higher, but further down. Satisfying that need, even weakly, can be an important stepping stone to greater things, because surprise surprise, human males are *humans* and have more complex desires than just sex. That's why a lot of guys in healthy relationships *flourish* as opposed to stagnate. In most cases, it is healthy--mentally and physically--for a man to have sex.
In fact, in the emotional sense, some of the very first chatbots (ELIZA) were shown to be effective in providing therapy just by asking people's own words back as questions. A supportive chat partner can be incredibly beneficial to people who are stuck with a mind that constantly trashes itself, and lacking anyone else to lean on.
The concern for me is the for-profit nature of these chatbot services and sexbot designs. They aren't necessarily intended to help, and are being given access to people in their most vulnerable states. Seven years later, life is better in nearly every regard. It isn't a flaw to be depressed. Sometimes it is our subconscious mind telling us something has to be changed. Focus on what makes you happy or what makes you money. You can then leverage the latter to get to the former.
