I see that there are many people who passed away this year, who, while not so famous individually, were part of famous music groups. It would probably be asking too much to list them all, but each was special in his or her own way: Dickey Betts and Johnny Neel (Allman Brothers Band), Zoot Money, The Animals), Andy Leek (Dexys Midnight Runners), Richard Tandy (Electric Light Orchestra), Duke Fakir (The Four Tops), Phil Lesh (The Grateful Dead), Paul Di'Anno (Iron Maiden), Tito Jackson (The Jackson 5), Mike Pinder (The Moody Blues), Joe Bonsall (Oak Ridge Boys), Liam Payne (One Direction), Scott Simon (Sha Na Na), Mary Weiss (The Shangri-Las), Henry Fambrough (The Spinners), Jim Beard (Steely Dan), and Vitalij Kuprij (Trans-Siberian Orchestra). And finally, please spare a thought for the Nelons, a family of gospel music singers, several of whom died together in a plane crash in July of this year.

Thank You for sharing this with us all
I will remember James Earl Jones for his Commanding Presence and Larger than Life Persona! HE WAS DARTH VADER! Teri Garr was such a Sweetheart and an Incredibly Funny Actress! Willie Mays and Ricky Henderson were two of the most Talented Baseball Players who ever lived! Jerry West and Bill Walton we’re both Hall of Fame NBA Players who were Iconic in their own right! Very Sad to see all of these people who are no longer with us!
Agree with everything you said here, especially about Teri Garr and James Earl Jones.
Nice tribute. Thank you. Maggie Smith. 😢
Thank you!
Thanx for this nice tribute luck they left us great memories
We all going in that direction unfortunately I shocked Rickie Henderson's has passed on, many thanks for taking the time!
Joyce "Trixie" Randolph looked exactly the same. It's a pity what happened to Teri Garr and Shelly Duvall. It's sad what life and time can do to people.
Steve thanks for the sharing this video. This year has gone so fast.Prayers.😢
Shannon Doherty was especially sad. She’s only a little older than me. Now Brenda and Dylan can be together once again.
Got bad press, much un deservedly

Joshua Bryant 83- actor who guest starred on many ‘70 and ‘80 shows best known as Scully (Hot Lips’ suitor) on MASH TV series.

Gena Rowlands. Wow! She was always amazing, along with her late husband John Cassavetes. What a team back in the day. One tough cookie she was. God, how I loved her so much in the original "GLORIA" (1980?) One of my all-time favorite suspense/mafia movies! I was 11 years old and I fell in love with her!
Thanks for that update of all .the musicianss
Jimmy Buffett... He was in my life for over 50 years.
Last year.
Thanks for sharing ! More than one in that lineup that hits hard !
Hello I was shocked to see some I just thought were still going.these individuals were a day to day belief still with us. I'm (74) & I recall some of the older ones, but do not have any idea how some actors, what they specialized in. not a fun thing to view when you remind yourself your time is not that far away. J.Jackson
Good day Steve, thanks for bringing to memory of some of the most talented souls who entertained our lives as we were growing. What a great blessing to live in a generation with them. Just to recollect my own memory for their best part that impacted me:
Carl Weathers - Rocky
Quincy Jones - Tora Tora Tora
Teri Garr - Twisty
OJ - Naked Gun
Maggu Smith - Gosford Park
Phil Donahue - Phil Donahue
Toby Keith - Gospel songs
James Earl Jones - The great white hope
Donald Sutherland - The ordinary people
Kris Kristoffel - The Stage Coach
Lou Gossett - An Officer and a gentleman
I remember my grandfather (RIP) told me he met Earl Holliman at an airport back in the 70's.
