You did great with 3 loads of washing, drying, folding and putting away. Computer back ups and sending replies. On Friday I did 20 to 30 minutes of deleting work emails and then I got fed up of them but I still think I’m great lol 😂 Be nice to yourself, you are doing amazing. Have a great week. Mary, Joes wife 🙇♀️👏💪👍🙏💐🐕🦺
Oh, I so needed this reminder…I need to do a complete reset to my home within the next week. I love the printouts and will definitely put them to use! Love the plants and I hope they survive! I just got a new front load washer & dryer (cha-ching!!) I love all the bells & whistles that come with it! I was actually excited to do laundry! It was my childhood chore and I would have to go into my grandparents creepy basement, all the way to the back to do the laundry…yuck! I hated it and it’s never been my favorite chore…until now!
Right now for me it’s running after a couple of cats with potty issues. Behind on dealing with all the “pee trace” rugs. I think one pottied outside until winter hit and forgot what a cat box was. Lol. The other is super elderly. We are making some progress with the pee pads a bit for her at least. Fun times. Lol.
@@HowToGYST Lol. But you know. As with all domestic type stuff. It’s not that I have to spend all day every day on it, it’s just the sheer monotony ya know. One reason I wound up hitting so many of the minimalist/declutter channels…like this one. 😬 Taking a break today I guess. Going on a “thrift store hunt” in a bit. Lol. If any of us have to “caretake” anyone or anything, breaks are majorly essential (as per my finally realizing that the repetitive monotony was what got to me the most). Time for me. Time for fun. Time for dropping all my burdens, even if just for a little while at a time. I found out like sure. Most of the time I can keep up with “the grind” decently, but my mood won’t be so great if I don’t call time outs on all of it quite deliberately.
Jack benefits form the tree too. 😂 Thanks gor reminding me to water my plants. Most of my daughters are looking rough. Or have died. I am not responsible for thei survival. I have two i care take of.... Qhen i remember. 🤷♀️
@@HowToGYST just relocated the fallen. 😂 There are a couple my daughter is convinced still have life but the others were long gone. It's okay though. Schubert ! 😄🗣🎶 I sang Die Forelle in German as one of my songs for O level music practical exam. 💖 My Aloe Vera plant is giant sized and technically it should be dead because I ignore it.
This is why I only have a couple of aloe and spider plants (indoors) 😂 They can survive a couple of weeks at a time without water... Or a month 🤭 Also, the noises that your washing machine makes made me think of GameBoy games 😂💗 Love it! (And yes, Jon&I still have our original ones 🤓) Finally, the audio balance sounded lovely thank you (and sorry for being 1 of those emails before 🤭) Great job! 😘 H&G
I just thought of this - you could try 2-3 snips and see how they respond. There needs to be a "nub" from which a new leaf can grow so may be tricky, but maybe just try 2 or three long vines. BTW - love your videos! Just trying to help with the plant, it looked so sad!
I turned the music sounds off my machines, because I didn’t want the, “that’s childhood jingle” memory reaction to be rewritten with being called to the laundry It also eliminates that sense of the laundry managing you,
why did i watch someone else doing what i should be doing while sitting on my ass supposedly planning my next move lol look at those views This is new to me and I got things to do and I will end up doing them my way. craziness. how diverse the topics of videos are uploaded daily. Seems like you need a real break. Maybe let your sh*t fall apart (except for plants) for a little while longer--but allow yourself to enjoy it this time around!
I just stopped watching in the middle of the video because it really worries me to hear you going on about being not fast enough and “only” have dealt with laundry and mails come dinner time - wtf???? “Only”???? There is mainly one issue you have to work on with highest speed and that is to develop a tender and self-loving approach towards yourself. You got a load on your plate and you are not healthy. Would you allow your daughter, your husband, your parents etc. to be so harsh on themselves? You have already improved in this regard, but not enough. So give yourself a big hug and tell yourself how proud you are of all you accomplished - and no, that’s not stupid positive thinking, that’s a necessity. Will you forgive me for overstepping boundaries? Love, Elisabeth (Vienna, Austria)
Oh I wasn't really worried about speed. I'm just so used to having them done at a certain time. 😂 I knew this one would take longer because of how many weeks had passed since the last one. I was more worried about not being able to finish the video, or that it would be boring because I was just replying to emails. 😂
@@HowToGYST Oh God, I knew it, me and my big mouth 🙈🙈🙈, I got it really wrong here! So terribly sorry, I hope you didn’t feel offended which would be the last thing I would want! Big hug!

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of washing you can fit into your machine.
And me! It's both a blessing and a curse though. Yes, I can wash a lot in one go, but it also means more to fold and put away at the end of it. 😅

Back on track this week. 😁
I do a little bit here and there each day rather than a big reset but, when the dishes and laundry are both caught up, it feels amazing!
Those are definitely two big ones!
Liking that thumbnail!
I agonised over this one. I had MANY alternatives. 😂

I can personally recommend adding music to your laundry routine, or a favourite TV show. It makes the process better! 😁 Glad you like the checklist!
The dog toy squeak in the middle of the washer and dryer's serenade cracked me up
Anytime I stand still for more than a second, she brings me a ball to play with. 😂

Oh I hear ya. It's hard to get excited about chores you have to do time and time again. 😂

This is exactly why I put watering them on my weekly reset. Otherwise I'd be surrounded by dead plants. 😂

I bought some water globes and find them handy. You just fill them up, stick them in the soil, and the plant will soak up what it needs.

Aloes are famously resilient. Although I killed mine. 🤣

The audio is still a work in progress so I really appreciate that!
I still have my GameBoy too! 😁 They don't make 'em like they used to. 😂
Love how your plants have names and genders. I really should do that too, maybe they would survive then 😅
I don’t know how well it’s working for me. 😂
And your machine knows Schubert! ♥️!
It's multi-talented. 😂
So it seems! And it’s “Die Forelle” (The Trout), which our old cat loved to listen to, and he couldn’t stand fish at all 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You should dance to your dryer music as silly as possible every time.... Even if you dont wanna. 😂 It seems like an opportunity to rock out.
I've been known to do the occasional bop. 😉 😂
@@HowToGYST I figured. 😂 It seems irresistible.
I hope Nero and your other plants will recover.... 🤞
I haven't done a reset... but I think I should. 🤔
Thank you for doing this video. 😊👍🏼
Nero is now down to one leaf. And it’s not looking good. 😭
😢Oh No!!! 😔
He's started growing a new one!
Oh that's great News! 😃👍
You could cut back that pothos to about 10 inches and see if new leaves develop. I keep mine trimmed all the time to keep it full and thriving.
Yes, it's going to need a serious prune. I just keep putting it off because I'm afraid of officially killing it.

It definitely needs an intervention. But yes, I'll start small and see how I go. 🤞
Take off Neros last leaf and put the pot in water so it soakes up what water the plant needs. He will regenerate.
He doesn’t like a soaking. He gets water-logged. I’ve got a water globe in there so hopefully that will help. 🤞
Well - to do a reset don’t you need to be “set” in the first place? I’m still working on that part.
You were born set. 😉
I turned the music sounds off my machines, because I didn’t want the, “that’s childhood jingle” memory reaction to be rewritten with being called to the laundry

I can fit a lot into my washing machine, but not a lot in my dryer.
My dryer actually holds more than my washing machine!
Omg LOL must be a huge dryer!
