So I got the xt200 on sale with kit lens for 500 . Now I am going to sale the kit lens for 150-200. So I got the camera for 300$ . For 300$ the value on this camera is crazy 4k digital stabilize film scenes easy menus touch screen 👌. Wow I am impressed back when I was in college 2015 something like this would of cost 1500-2000
I like how you presented this. I just recently got a brand new xt200. It really depends on the lens for fuji on some usage and scenes. Kinda excited to get my first XF lenses by the weekend.
@@DA-fl5em It's more than what I could hope for. It really depends on what style of shooting you do. For burst shots, most of the time I don't drain the battery for 6hrs. Get the Sony if you're that type of vlogger who shoots long video with "one take" only BUT if you're that type of vlogger who shoots multiple short clips to combine them later on, Fujifilm is best to pick.
From my research FujiFilm and personal opinion (without actually trying or owning any of these cameras) Fuji is the best camera for stills. Fujifilm’s lower end cams are even amazing for photography considering their price. Sony is definitely the all around camera, but considering psychology and since I’m coming from a street wear background. People choose Sony & Canon partially because of their name. Sony is a perfect blend of smooth and sharp, canon nails the color grade and diversity (M50). FujiFilm has IMO the best color science and just the way their photos look are cinematic. I’m not much into specs, but FujiFilm has imo the greatest photography cameras at the price points. The extra features in cameras (for both stills and video) are just so they can continually make new cameras without having certain features. Basically it’s a money scheme to try and put out the “perfect” camera so they can continue the demand of cameras instead of making one great “perfect” camera with a reasonable price range
@@iblameabel... Makes a lot sense Yeshua, and that is pretty much how I feel as well. As a beginner mainly still photographer I chose Fuji for those reasons. I did find the perfect camera for me at a price point that I thought was reasonable. Thank you for your input, much appreicated. :)

The record limit is just crippling :( - I have an X-T3 and the only way to record say an interview is to record the HDMI output, which is a massive extra cost.
A6600 is designed to be a 2nd "b-roll" camera for people who already owned a Sony full frame with all the ecosystem goodies such as sharing the same type of batteries, lenses, etc. If you aren't already a sony full frame owner with existing sony lenses and whatnot, I don't see why anyone should get a A6600 period. So many other good options out there.
Cool comparison of the real world differences between cameras. I always come to your videos, because the Ease of Use section is the most important to me. I would love for you to mention in future Fuji reviews that most of their lenses work like crap for video, because their focusing motor was not designed for it. So if you care about video, the apparent advantage of Fuji lenses dissapears. Any lens older than the 35 f2 will probably autofocus like a jittery mess.
Why pay more for even Fuji? Get Sony A6000. It’s enough for most people out there. I used to have XT-2 when I switched from Sony A6000. After 6 months I sold the Fuji XT-2 to get back into Sony again. Fuji is good but I just like Sony AF better. I bought Fuji because of their lens review and their outstanding color. But after a while I don’t see any advantage in Fuji system. Sigma 16 or 30 on Sony A6000 is just great if not better than any lens on Fuji XT-2. I also actually like the color on Sony better and still wonder what everybody was talking about when they said Fuji color is great. The Sony auto WB also did a better job than Fuji. I can pretty much can leave Sony on Auto WB 95% of the time while Fuji I had to adjust every time lighting situation change especially indoor pictures. If I’m going to spend that much on Fuji body like XT-4 again..I would rather spend money on A7 iii.
Great video brother as always. As a fellow content creator I can get past that 15 min time on the Fuji. Damn shame because the quality looks good especially for the price.
It's possible to record for an unlimited time though you would need an external recorder which can cost a pretty penny. One main thing about the time limits though is that it will over heat.
I think the jumping exposure problem can be solved when Fuji releases new updates. I don't often record videos and even though I don't record in 4k. So I don't worry about the one-time video shooting time.
theoretically, the best budget apsc camera will be the xt40 whenever its announced. As the x 10 series is always not as good as the xt flagship, but usually almost just as good... (the big difference almost always just being not dual card slots and not weather resistant) For example what one can currently get in a xt30 is just insane. No dual card slots and no shooting in the rain like the xt3 or the xt4 but it has 95% of what the xt3 has. For a long time it was even better autofocus wise and xt3 users had to wait forever for firmware updates to catch up to the xt30. (although even on release the xt3 was infinitely better AF wise than a xt2 or xh1)
The correct answer is to wait for the m50 mark 2. Canon is basically letting sony and fuji invent all the new stuff, and then stealing it for their own cameras. I mean think about it, if you don't need 4k, the m50 is one of the best cameras out there and it's like $500 right now because it's old. All canon needs to do is upgrade the m50 to have 60p 4k with less crop and the dual pixel autofocus in at least a few points on screen when filming and it's back on top. Maybe throw in a usb-c. Sony has the best autofocus, and... Well that's it. Get one with log profiles because you're going to need to fix the colors. That said, it gets the shot. I can fix colors, I can't fix focus. Fuji has antique looking plastic bodies with no grip and knobs in weird places. But the colors are fantastic... sometimes. It's a sensor made by sony, so IDK why it can't do sony's focus. But it's not amazing. Nikon came out with a brilliant apsc z50. But it only has 2 mediocre lenses and that's it. If they had made it an F mount lens which works with all the old lenses it would have been incredible. But as it stands you might as well buy a bridge camera if there's no lenses to swap to. I just want nikon's ergonomics, fuji's lenses and maybe their colors, sony autofocus, and canon menus with olympus ibis. All the tech we want already exists. But they want to slowly drain your wallet every year trickling out a bit more tech. A couple more megapixels. A flippy screen but no log format. Then a log format, but in an unusable frame rate. and just keep getting slightly more useable until they go out of business because cell phones have been filming network TV commercials for 5 generations now. There's not a long future in independent cameras except for maybe professional sports shooters.
Bad news mate, the canon m50 mark II is just a firmware update and the Fuji XT-200 is 500 dollars right now (I think it is on sale) that's a very good price! And better than the M50.
@@ronaldbenz_ I have the xa7 which is essentially the same thing. It does have good IQ and specs. Paid 500 for it too. Should have waited for the t200 lol. That is bad news. I had high hopes for the mkii. It just had to improve a little bit. 60fps and good af 4k. That's pretty much it. The biggest problem with the fuji is the feel. The ergonomics are poorly thought out, and the materials feel fake. It doesn't feel like a camera, it feels like it should have tic-tacs in it. Or avon aftershave. The m50 has some metal. It feels like something a professional would take on vacation. And to be fair it is fantastic for 1080. And stills. And it's frequently on sale for 500 as well. I prefer fuji, but that m50 is a pretty sweet little deal. Also the canon works with everything. My fuji looks horrible in lightroom, dxomark can't even get it setup and they are professional camera testers. Darktable won't load the images. I had some success with rawtherapee. Canon just works. That can be a big thing for people who are buying entry-level gear.
About the stabilisation, none of the cameras have in body stabilisation. The stabilisation of the image happens in specifically made lenses. You can buy a lense for the Sony camera with built in stabilisastion.
Great comparisson and thanks for fighting back bias as much as you did. Coming from Camp 6600, it matches my philosophy; make that one (or two) lenses work for as much of my needs as possible. I love the Sony image with the Sigma primes on board so I'm set. O tried my wife's XT-3, great image, but a little short on battery life for the run and gun that I want to do.
15 minute 4k record limit, no eterna profile, 8 bit video (although they both have that). If I had to get any APS-C I'd probably get the xt3 or wait for the xt4. By biggest conundrum is get the canon eos R, wait for the R5/6 get the A7iii or wait forever for the A7s iii? Or go straight in and get a blackmagic 4k. As a side question why does in body stabilization matter so much to you? The reason I ask is apart from when you're doing a vlog test on cameras 90% of your footage is in the studio.
Why go for full frame unless you really have to? They are heavy (especially the lenses) and expensive. I also find the 4K hype extremely over rated. 1080p is better for editing and its hard to see the difference. Whats more important is color, exposure, stable and sharp focus and good IBIS/digital stabilization AND great sound. I am very frustrated because there is no “perfect “ hybrid camera for photo and video. But I am very impressed by the Panasonic GH5(except AF) and the Fuji xt-4 seems promising. I currently own a Nikon D5600 which is a great photo camera but with terrible video AF. And I have a Ricoh GR3(love it), GoPro7 black.
TotalDiscussed when he reviews cameras he’s trying to review from a vlogger/content created perspective. Usually vloggers walk with a camera on a tripod body facing them and some form of stabilization is nice
Those recording time limits are a shame. It's a deal breaker on what is otherwise probably the best value in cameras. No one has a screen as good as the Panasonic S1 though, I tried one out at a local shop and being able to tilt up without folding out to the side is great for when you're not in the shot.
jumping exposure in video of fujifilm camera can be fix by using fix aperture and auto iso, instead of auto aperture, the problem is caused by the fuji lens aperture blades are moving in steps instead of smooth movement.
When you're showing the comparison, you should shoot the same subject using both the cameras under comparison, but that doesn't seem to be the case in this video.
Can you please make review videos for the Fuji X-4 & the Fuji XS-10!? I want to see if I should get a Sony Apsc or one of those instead. Your camera reviews are the best on TH-cam
Few more reasons to choose Sony, Sony has far more third party lenses which are amazing and affordable, Fuji not so much. a6600 has a much better battery life then the Fuji camera, I believe only the X-T4 will not come with a bigger battery.
Great video, as always! I enjoy the comparisons, and have personally enjoyed working with both Sony and Fuji, and for very different reasons. But with the a6600 listed as your main camera and the a7iii as your secondary.. I'm now curious about a camera you haven't mentioned in a couple months.. did you decide not to keep your s1h?!
i'd like to see a comparison between canon m50 and x-t200 😀 i'm a fan of the flip out screen going towards the side rather than on top to make sure i can use the mount for mic 😄
Question? I know you like the Panasonic G85. I'm considering that camera vs the Fuji XT200. They are basically the same price (G85) marginally dearer. I want to use them for Vlogging and capturing Hiking trips and Adventure riding. Which do you think is the best? I have a Panasonic TZ80, which I will probably keep instead of buying a Telephoto - So I'm leaning towards the G85 (I like the pics the TZ80 creates). For the price difference I could put a cheap shotgun mike on the XT200. The Panasonic has better image stab... Also weather protection would be nice... Anyway be good to hear your thoughts. I was looking for a comparo between the XT200 and G85 but can't find one, which is kind of surprising.
Wow!......great review! I glad that you're specific to video on this one! Got me thinking, if the xt4 has the same incredible digital stabilization as the xt200 and considering it's weather sealing, flip screen it's bound to be a hit!!!! Em plus, If they did a full frame with all these features with a competitive price, i would jump on it imediately!!!! Fuji is killing it!👊🏾😡
I was planning to buy Fuji camera after all that praises across the Internet but no one told me the most imp DEAL BREAKER.. Fuji can record for only 15 mins what ? Really ? I am not going to Fuji anymore ,,
Can you please make a video on fujifilm xt-200 with a lens adapter attached to sigma 16mm f.14 sony e-mount and shoot videos in both 4k and 1080p plz if you can make a video on it
I have a question your video didn't answer. What size sd card did you use in the cameras? I'm asking this because they have previously removed the 4gb chunk if you use an sd card that is 64gb or larger.
what about the 1080p, and the 1080p 120fps (I heard that Sony 1080p is really bad, and soft)? I know that the preamp on the Fuji are terrible, producing a terrible audio hiss :(
nice video.. would you recommend this xt 200 over a6100? xt200 on sale $500 now at bestbuy, but I rather spend more if needed for long-term investment.
For video isn't it always best to set the shutter speed? I thought you should never leave it in auto? Does the XT200 allow you to bypass the record limits by recording externally?
I want to start vollging so which camera should I consider? M50 or xt-200?? Orr something else?? Laptop won't be able to handle 4K editing so focus on 1080p and also I am tight in budget.
I will say - Sony a6100 (for the AF) - Fuji XT-200 - Canon M50 But it depends on what you need, for example. You don't need 4K if your computer can't handle it or if you don't have that much space
What's the best lens for the sony a6400. I was thinking of getting the Sony a6600 or the Fuji xt4. I said to myself for a cheaper budget I could get the Sony a6100. I'm a beginner of learning photography and video record I g and video editing, I live in East Harlem NYC and I can't wait until I make my first choice of camera...
Does the A6600 have the harsh auto ISO stepping of the X-T200 as seen in your other video? Your comparison on that subject was a bit short. Great video otherwise!
I don't understand why anyone would buy a full on stills camera if all they are concerned about is how it shoots video. Buy a fkin video camera, (they still make them), for video and a stills camera for stills?
I still like Sony more, side screen is distracting for me. I had Nikon d5600 and did not like eye shifting to side screen. Having a6600 ibis with oss lense does improve in any way? I currently have a6400 10-18 f4 oss.

O tried my wife's XT-3, great image, but a little short on battery life for the run and gun that I want to do.
just got my first camera in 30 years and got the x-t200. Great deal right now at B&H camera.
I was wondering to get a6100
But after this deal definitely I will get the xt200
how's the photo quality of it?
@@soorajsnair1224 photo quality of xt200 is awesome
I suggest getting a camcorder for vlogging.. for the same price range, the sony AX43 has a built-in gimbal
Definitely getting the A6600 soon
The Only TH-cam CAMERA SHOW that i LOVE❤️
Those recording time limits are a shame. It's a deal breaker on what is otherwise probably the best value in cameras. No one has a screen as good as the Panasonic S1 though, I tried one out at a local shop and being able to tilt up without folding out to the side is great for when you're not in the shot.
I remember when you reviewed cameras. Those were the days.
HE shifted to other stuff because he got more views in it..
jumping exposure in video of fujifilm camera can be fix by using fix aperture and auto iso, instead of auto aperture, the problem is caused by the fuji lens aperture blades are moving in steps instead of smooth movement.
dynamic range in the fuji is very good imho
When you're showing the comparison, you should shoot the same subject using both the cameras under comparison, but that doesn't seem to be the case in this video.
I've watched your review. Now, i know that you're 100% Sony Fanboy
Can you do a fuji xt200 and sony a6100 comparison?
Stay Safe from Global Pandemic
Love from Philippines
Buy it nice or buy it twice 👍
That’s very true 🤣
I'm sorry whats this supposed to mean? (im small brain)
@@triliner254 buy a good camera on the first try
@@moenlighted7681 Oh ok. I already figured it out months ago LOL. But thanks anyways.
@@triliner254 you still have the small brain?
Great video, as always! I enjoy the comparisons, and have personally enjoyed working with both Sony and Fuji, and for very different reasons. But with the a6600 listed as your main camera and the a7iii as your secondary.. I'm now curious about a camera you haven't mentioned in a couple months.. did you decide not to keep your s1h?!
i'd like to see a comparison between canon m50 and x-t200 😀 i'm a fan of the flip out screen going towards the side rather than on top to make sure i can use the mount for mic 😄
If the X-T300 has 2 memory card slots, I’ll buy it in a heartbeat!
If i dis not have 3 panasonic cams inwould buy fuji 200 and xt4 but i am happy with my gh5 family
One thing I noticed in the comparison the rolling shutter is much less noticeable on the fuji film camera.
I squared up when you said “fight me” Gosh dude don’t do us like that :’)
Fuji is killing it!👊🏾😡
Xt-200 good for photography?
Yes super
Hi dad, Which do think is better the sony a6600 or the lumix g95? Can you do the comparison about this two cameras? Thanks
Sony A7 Ill is still my favorite Camera in 2020
Fuji is ❤️
Does anybody know why this is the last camera review that the everyday Dad has made?
Great video. Worth the effort
Great comparison 👌
I was planning to buy Fuji camera after all that praises across the Internet but no one told me the most imp DEAL BREAKER.. Fuji can record for only 15 mins what ? Really ? I am not going to Fuji anymore ,,
how can the Sony be budget camera I don't have 1K to spend on a camera
now the Fujifilm x-t200 is a budget camera
Great audio - what do you use?
Can you please make a video on fujifilm xt-200 with a lens adapter attached to sigma 16mm f.14 sony e-mount and shoot videos in both 4k and 1080p
plz if you can make a video on it
potato jet tried shooting ling periods with the a6600 and it stops at 13hours. but who does film straight more then 13 hours lol
mikel magdadaro a 24 hours timelapse 😅
You gotta test the X-S10
Now i m satisfied after buying xt200
The Sony does actually have a limit. It's 30 hours LOL. But still It IS a limit.
Imagine that Sony recording for years.
@@ronaldbenz_ there's one guy who has recorded for a year but time-lapse
Except the Sony would be toast long before it could ever reach that anyway.
I know that the preamp on the Fuji are terrible, producing a terrible audio hiss :(
Watch Leica Q2 it.s a Fullframe Compact Camera that has 45MP and it.s a very expensive camera it cost about 5K
IMO:
If you want to vlog, stick with sony.
If you want to take pictures, stick with Fuji.
Sony is good for pictures
Is this a fair comparison since the a6600 offers the color profiles and the xt200 does not? A6100 would be the equivalent comparison, no?
But still a great video! Thanks for the content.
Hi, which one would you pick between fuji xt200 and sony zve10 for casual cityscape/night photography and video making ??
Fujifilm Is Photography Focused, While ZV-E10 Is The Opposite.
nice video.. would you recommend this xt 200 over a6100? xt200 on sale $500 now at bestbuy, but I rather spend more if needed for long-term investment.
Do you think sony will send a firmware update to fix the ibis issue on a6600?
Love your vids.
Definitely getting the a6600. Wondering if I should get JUST the body so I may get different lenses...
I just got xt200 today, it's on sale right now and I think it's best bang for buck at the moment.
How bad is the auto-exposure jumping in video on the Fuji? Is there a workaround to get better auto-exposure in video?
Strongly worded comment.
Ha! Well played 🤣
Sony 6100 vs M50 vs Xt200? Which one is your advise ?
Watch DPReview
I will say
- Sony a6100 (for the AF)
- Fuji XT-200
- Canon M50
But it depends on what you need, for example. You don't need 4K if your computer can't handle it or if you don't have that much space
sir a small advice which is best sony a6400 or fuji xt30 for vlogging and photography at travelling
Which camera is good for photography
I wanna know how long it took you to edit this video!
Keep making awesome videos. Stay safe!
Still i prefer my a6400 :)
What an awesome camera 👍
What's the best lens for the sony a6400. I was thinking of getting the Sony a6600 or the Fuji xt4. I said to myself for a cheaper budget I could get the Sony a6100. I'm a beginner of learning photography and video record I g and video editing, I live in East Harlem NYC and I can't wait until I make my first choice of camera...
Plz sir make a video on fujifilm X A7 vs SONY A6400
Panasonic G85 as my first camera in 2020? Yay or nay?
Prett my much ended for me when you said, “15 minute record time.” Wow! That sucks!
What are you planning to record? unless you are vlogging 15 minutes are enough
🙄🙄🙄 what are going to do
Does the A6600 have the harsh auto ISO stepping of the X-T200 as seen in your other video?
Your comparison on that subject was a bit short. Great video otherwise!
I want to buy a camera in 70k, mainly for videography. Please suggest its urgent.
I don't understand why anyone would buy a full on stills camera if all they are concerned about is how it shoots video.
Buy a fkin video camera, (they still make them), for video and a stills camera for stills?
fuji looks way superior than the a6600
Great video - thank you
is there some music playing veeeeery low in the background ?
I still like Sony more, side screen is distracting for me. I had Nikon d5600 and did not like eye shifting to side screen. Having a6600 ibis with oss lense does improve in any way? I currently have a6400 10-18 f4 oss.
Not really I wish the Sony cameras had better ibis 😭
The Everyday Dad thanks, just saved $1200 + tax lol 😆
