Diamond or Oswaldo disguise as Loucha is a bold theory. First, Jingyuan said "or must i utter that tongue-twister of the name" when face Loucha in the Jingliu quest. This clearly tell you that Jingyuan know Loucha real name, so he should already know that Loucha is Oswaldo or Diamond or not. And which that IPC plan is busted. Okay, maybe now you said that "tongue-twisted name" is also fake, i will also remind you that they have a way to divine a person past, present and future. So unless their past got erase like March, Oswaldo or Diamond disguise should be busted. IPC plan also failed. Hope this help❤❤❤
21:45 that's Void Archives... who is taking the Shape of Otto, who is a "variant" of Loucha. basically, Locha is another world's version of Welt's old aqcuaintance, which is also why Welt gave him that one book about people not being born evil. because, well, Otto was a villain.
Here's the thing - the implication is that the names of the stonehearts are somewhat hidden. The name Kakavasha was pretty explicitly "buried" and we only have ever heard one person use the name Jelena, and it's by Jade, a person who would've known her before she became a stoneheart. That said, I do believe Jing Yuan knows Luocha is Oswaldo - he even knows some of the other things Oswaldo is known for. Which, if they have record of him, they would have no need to divine anything further. So, the matrix of prescience wouldn't need to be used in this situation.
10:30 To be fair, the Xianzhou ships are the size of planets. A civilization of that scale shouldn't be taken lightly, especially not if you have to worry about an Aeon possibly intervening.

A few things with the luocha theory. While I definitely think there is merit to it I disagree with some points. First off VA while having blond hair due to inhabiting one of Otto's soulium bodies his hair is always stylized in a different manner than Otto which we can also see its styled differently than Luocha. Another thing when it comes to his powers while he can replicate the powers of anything he can understand it will be less effective then the original. Third, this is tied to a visual novel so I wouldn't be suprised if you didnt know but in HI3 Otto went by Luocha when in china to make a deal with Fu Hua. I could definitely see Diamond being star rails equivalent to VA but the timing of Welt’s arrival on the express while not explicitly stated has been implied to be somewhat recent. Diamond has most likely doing things in the IPC for a long time given his position, how the lower ranking IPC memebers are to the stone hearts, and the connections he must have for his position. VA wouldnt have the time to do all of that in just a few years. I really do hope that if it is star rail's version of VA that we see their version of Welt.
The hairstyle was something that tripped me up a bit. I'd suggest reading through the text slide I put at 27:40. There probably is something additional at play here, I definitely don't have the full picture figured out, but with all the confirmed pieces in play at the moment, this is the one I feel explains everything without being overly complicated. We'll learn more about this in the future tho, I'm sure.
Then again, if Hoyo were to actually want to hide VA as Luocha, they'd have to change his hairstyle or it would be way too obvious. This way we can suspect him, but never be sure until they decide to reveal it
You didn't mention how Otto Apocalypse in the Saga of the Shattered Swords VN disguises himself as a merchant named Luocha with a coffin in tow to visit Shenzhou (hmm) to meet Immortal Fu Hua.
@@iamemamae This to me actually makes him seem less likely to be VA. I played HI3 for the first 3 years and both in the story, but also in some of the events we see alternate timelines where parts of the story are being played out again with variations (or the story for that event was set in motion by one of these variations).* Since HSR is set in an alternate universe, this could be this universe’s version of that story. I’m currently thinking that Loucha is Oswaldo, but Diamond is VA. *Some of this goes into the Imaginary Tree/Sea of Quanta/Bubble Universe stuff which I never entirely wrapped my head around (the translation issues they had around that time definitely didn’t help). I tend to think of these as kinda like parallel universes, but I’ve been told that’s not entirely correct.
One very important detail: Herta's manuscripts tell us the IPC has been active for about 800 Amber Eras (75k-200k years) versus the beginning of the lone voyage era beginning a mere 8k years ago. The alliance itself was only signed a few thousand years after that, and the IPC was actually one of the first organisations the ships encountered when they left, beginning their preservation phase which was later replaced by Yaoshi when they gained their blessing. "An Overview of the Faith Crises in the Xianzhou Alliance" is the main source of this information. The IPC became a powerhouse a very long time ago, just following the end of the Swarm Disaster and before the first Rubert war. The second Rubert war should line up with the aurumaton rebellion on the Xianzhou. Additionally, the IPC has actually already taken over the Xianzhou Yaoqing, with many of their buildings being replaced by IPC buildings. The Luofu is unique in their resistance against the IPC. My personal theory about Diamond's identity is that he's actually De Wayne mostly because we saw the stonehearts heading to the Cast Iron Throne which is exactly where De Wayne was last seen eternally trapped in a 'battle' with a guardian created by the Enigmata to stop him from reaching the throne. It's also a very apt name for the main rock theme guy. The star rail memelord devs really would ask each other 'hmm what should we name the strongest rock guy' and someone would respond 'dwayne the rock lol' and get a promotion on the spot. I know you said you don't think watching other lore theorist videos, but you might enjoy watching my Gold and Gears plot summary for the IPC backstory and perhaps the video mentioning Diamond in the title and giving me back your thoughts on it :)

@orsikocs in the context of this theory, yes. Ema Mae came to it in part because she concluded Luocha isn't the star rail variant of VA. Personally, I doubt Luocha is the HI3 VA, as I got the impression from Welt that he was similar but not the same.
@@LadyCorax yep, something to mention is that Luocha and Otto have similar hair style (loose low ponytail) while Void Archives (as far as i’m aware of) always wears his hair down. also, except for that one model were one of his arms is black and gold (looks more like his actual hand than a glove and the gold doesn’t protrude outwards), otto doesn’t wear gloves with gold thingies on it like VA always does. i feel like if hoyo wanted us to make the connection that VA is luocha they would’ve added a little something to the glove
idk just a bunch of thoughts, this theory is very fun and interesting but there are some things i disagree with and stuff i want to talk about(i accidentally deleted this whole thing but luckily i had an screenshot omg) 1. when did welt and VA arrived to star rail -welt looks basically the same as when he met VA for the fist time, which doesn't mean too much considering welt has a weird thing with aging. -unless himeko is some kind of long life species, she can't be very old, she had to be at least a teenager when she found the express, it would've taken sometime to fix it and she traveled for sometime before she found welt and VA -march is not sure whether or not VA was there when she was found but she looks pretty much the same so its safe to assume it wasn't too long ago 2. oswaldo has been here for a long time -oswaldo was already head of marketing department when he did all that stuff to aventurine's planet, aventurine was quite young when that happened, so some time has pasted since. oswaldo did do this early on in his career as head of marketing department tho, the question is, how long did it take for him to become head of marketing department? -this could help both cases but it's also info so i'll leave it here for interpretation: sometime after the xianzhou allied w the IPC(who knows when), they did an investigation of the head of the departments, concluded that oswaldo was inexperienced, a Preservation zealot, an expansionist and a threat. Oswaldo had little experience when they did the investigation, but we don't know when they did it nor do we know how inexperienced oswaldo really was. If they did it early on in their alliance, he would have been IPC for a long time. -continuing with quote above, he is said to be a preservation zealot, if he really was devoted to qlipoth he likely wouldn't want to use tazzyronth, then again, the IPC is always contradicting themselves saying they serve the amber lord when they do propagation stuff, he's high up so he's more likely to know more. he could also be acting but i can't really think of a reason why they'd do that, could be a red herring ig. 3. Oswaldo might be a nameless from before himeko took over -mikhail, tiernan and razalina are all referred to as former nameless and they were there before himeko, so its fairly possible he's like them. this point is weak but its there. -we will likely run into more former nameless cuz that's our faction, the words "former nameless" don't really hold that much meaning 4. the connection between luocha, void archives and oswaldo is weak -from luocha's story quest, it doesn't feel like luocha really is void archives, even if welt had that whole flashback, its possible luocha is just an otto expy and not void archives, especially considering otto and VA are pretty different people. luocha's hair is similar to ottos but VA as far as i know has never worn his hair like that. i have heard something about otto not being able to have expies but i haven't seen official proof or know where it came from in the first place, if that's true tho luocha is very likely to be related to VA. -diamonds hand is actually a robotic hand while VA's is just a glove. while the source isn't the most accurate, it is to be noted that it looks very different and the shade of gold also is different, if the devs had wanted us to make this connection they probably would've made it look a little more similar. -otto, VA and luocha are all ALWAYS depicted wearing white clothing while diamond is shown wearing black -luocha's connection to the IPC doesn't seem very strong, he's a merchant, it makes sense for him to have some dealings with the ipc 5. oswaldo and diamond -they're both board of direction members, i've never had a job but google says board of directors have meetings called board meetings that most companies have once in a while, how could they have meetings if 2 of them are the same person? maybe one of them is just conveniently absent on the meetings, that might be suspicious but if many directors are often missing then it wouldn't seem too out of the ordinary. or maybe its not an in person meeting, like aventurine's trial, a group call. imagine him switching devices and using a voice changer, maybe even talking to himself lol kinda funny. -their connection without luocha is weak, playing both sides and pitting them against each is a pretty otto thing to do but otto is not VA, so if luocha is oswaldo and diamond, i think he'd be more related to otto than VA. if he really is VA tho it would be an interesting connection from VA to otto im not great at organizing writing so this comment is quite a mess, thank you for reading, please reply if you have any thoughts. this video is great, well edited, the theory is interesting and invokes thinking and in general you can tell there was a lot of effort put into it! the part about how the IPC takes over planets is great. thank you for sm making this, i really enjoy seeing these unhinged theories.
These exactly! Also Luocha is registered in the IPC not because hes an employee per se, but just so he has a permit to go to diff planets as a merchant. It's also mentioned in the exact same dialogue that he's registered in the XZ Yuque, so ema's claim is very flimsy at best
Diamond and Oswaldo aren't on the board of directors _yet_. I seem to recall Oswaldo is being considered as a candidate but pretty much anybody who gets to his and Diamond's ranks are considered to be candidates for the Board of the IPC. That said, I also find the theoretical connection between Diamond and Oswald pretty tenuous at best. Especially since the Strategic Investment Department and the Marketing Development Department are both feuding. Which could lead into Ema's whole thing about him playing both sides against the middle but it's hard to see _why_. Sidenote: people forget that you can be one of the Nameless and on the path of the Trailblaze without ever actually having been a passenger on the Express (Baiheng, for instance, falls in this category. Also we meet an NPC on Penacony that follows the Trailblaze but never rode the train. Etc). I know Oswaldo is said to be/have been a Nameless but I don't recall anywhere that explicitly says he was ever a passenger.

20:05 as interesting the theory this, i am pretty sure this is not supposed to be a diamond depiction, since well... this is just Thomas Bangalter from Daft Punk, he even has a dj set under the gems. and the golden hand is a reference to the fact that the band has two members one depicted in silver, the other in golden. when they disbanded some time ago the last picture commemorating the band was the picture of two robotic hands, one silver, one golden.
So, a couple pooints I wanna ask about 1) How does an HI3 flashback confirm that the other guy on the Express was Luocha? Welt recalling an interaction with VA from HI3 when he sees Luocha's face ≠ this happened in HSR. How is it anything more than an interesting flashback? While I hope this idea pans out for sure, as I think it'd be interesting, i can't see this as an evidence point. 2. 19:50 by your logic here, this also makes him part of the Xianzhou? He says he's registered with the Xianzhou @ the Yuque, and at a specific branch with the IPC If anything, it'd be weirder for an itinerant merchant to *not* be registered with the IPC, given their humongous size. Because he's registered with an entity at a specific planet = he "is" part of that entity? That's a leap in logic imo I will admit that the rest of the theory (offer, take rejection gracefully, come back after making the offer more enticing) does sound enticing, considering what we've seen the Stonehearts do elsewhere. 3) it's said in the loading screen for Cornerstones that they are literally a part of Diamond, the only Emanator of Preservation that we know of rn. So imo, it'd be weirder if the origin of the Stonehearts' powers *couldn't* use the Stonehearts' abilities. Then again, i could be misunderstanding, and this is the *source* of that theory lol. 4) wasn't the whole thing with DF and the Transmutation Arcaneum (TA) specifically what you theorized? DF and Yingxing were attempting to bring Baiheng back. They attempted this through a couple different methods. One was the flesh of Shuhu (?) that Blade is now affected by, and the way DF attempted was through the TA, effectively killing 2 birds with 1 stone (Propagation of Vidyadhara & save of Baiheng) With Bailu as literal living proof of this lol It's why Jingliu loathes them both, bc they desecrated her friend's dead body for their own ends. Overall tho, really interesting theory! I really like how the writers set up big things in the " "filler" " arcs like this. Truly nothing is skippable I look forward to your new FNAF timel- i mean, future HSR theories! They're always interesting to watch
bailu likely isnt reincarnated baiheng 1. from the few lines we hear of Yingxing, he definitely would not want to do this to his friend. 2. the only reason bailu is speculated to be baiheng is that they look similar, jingliu thinks so and jing yuan might also think so. Jingliu was in mourning, marastriken, manipulated by preceptors and was experiencing hallucinations likely from an entity known for creating hallucinations about loved ones dying during the sedition. Not to mention her horrible memory. I went right to the comments after hearing abt the Luocha IPC connection precisely to talk about what you pointed out in no. 2 Feels like a bit of a nitpick to mention being registered to the IPC while ignoring being registered to the XZ
1 and 2. Neither of these things prove Luocha = Express guy or Luocha = IPC. But given the fact that we see him not only furthering the IPC's plans, but also using the exact same tactics as other stonehearts, it's a leap I'm willing to make. 3. There's somewhere else where it said the cornerstones come directly from Qlipoth and were given to diamond. At the moment, I'm questioning everything regarding the cornerstones (see my "secret of the cornerstones" video) but we'll see. 4. Yes, I'm pretty sure it was. I cut about 3 minutes of the video out where I explained that in further detail, cause it just didn't have anything to do with Diamond XD
Everything I've seen says Bailu=Baiheng, and it's not even subtle, ESPECIALLY after Taoran's speech where he says other species CAN BE transmuted. Bailu not only looks exactly like Baiheng (same eyes, same hair), but she also has the power of abundance, and both their names begin with "Bai" which seems to be something the Vidyadhara do, carrying on the name of their past incarnation ("dan" in Dan Heng and Dan Feng for example). And keep in mind, Baiheng was dead at the time - so Yingxing may have been willing to do unthinkable things for the sake of bringing her back, or may have only reached the conclusion that such things were "unthinkable" after experienced the affects of immortality firsthand. I need to make that video, don't I?

16:12 This is an Ability Loong gave to the Vidyadhara before his passing. they were capable of manipulating the biology of other creatures - essentially, "shaping them like children playing with clay" and manipulating their DNA in order to become different permanently. In this way they would rule their original Home planet, by simply forcing all other species to be subservient to them and if necessary, just expanding their population by turning other creatures into members of their species. one day the Vidyadhara lost control over this power, likely caused by the Death of Loong and Tayzzyronth taking away a part of the permanence that would then become his Path (basically, the Propagation was once but an inferior aspect of the Permanence, similarly to how the inferior Order was assimilated by the superior Harmony but in reverse), due to which all life in their planet became hostile towards them and they had to flee.
16:09 I may be wrong but I am pretty sure dan feng and blade did the transmutation archanum on baiheng (foxian pilot that died) and that was the crime they commited, and the transmutation created an egg that turned into bailu.

I find the idea of the IPC secretly being propigation really intresting and definitely holds ground, and I believe most of the theories in you videos that I have seen so far (I have just discovered your channel and have only seen a couple videos), the only issue I have seen is the mention that the void archives joined the IPC yet you are also saying he is the person who runs all of the IPC. It feels very far-fetched. Perhaps the void archives has simply reached some sort of major role similar to the stonehearts, just in a more secretive fasion.

@iamemamae you absolutely either for got to mention or just didn't know that it was confirmed that oswaldo was a nameless so it definitely adds to the void archives theory.
From everything we see about the Void Archives, where it has the power to “Mimicry”, it seems to be limited to divide Keys. Even then, it’s a far weaker version of said key. So I doubt it would be able to copy the power of a Path. Especially to the point where they could fool a general that has fought abundance for centuries. As for his connection with Diamond(Or Oswaldo), I doubt it, since it’s been noticed that he had personally made deals with Taravan to work against Oswaldo during the time both Loucha and Jingliu were sent to prison. Besides, I doubt the IPC would take it kindly that the Alliance send one of their P-47 Heads to prison. The Alliance also alr knows about both Diamond and Oswaldo since they have a threat level in one of the books found in the Luofu, so instead of Jing Yuan calling them out on being followers of abundance, the general would’ve asked why a follower of preservation was there. And consider how Oswaldo is quite known...For his destructive way of doing things, Sushang would've called him out on it since she came from a ship that had been hugely influenced by the IPC. Besides, at the end of the day, I don’t really understand why Loucha/void archives would help the Ipc in this scenario. He isn’t Otto, afterall. It’s in his programming to help humanity. Reviving an Aeon that nearly wipe out the Universe hardly sounds like helping humanity.
After reading all these comments, I'm revising the theory a bit. The basics of it are still very true, BUT there's a key change at the end. I'll publish it sometime in the next couple weeks hopefully :)

That is one insane theory, they really hid this all right under our noses. If anything it is very smart as when the game just came out people do not know where to look for the end game yet and Yang was really the most interesting character to talk about since most 5 stars at the time had not nearly his lore or flare so people would get to know about it easily by word of mouth or youtube or the likes. Put the focus on it when the relevance is not clear yet so it is in the far back of everybody's minds when the next piece falls into place. God this is beautiful.
I am so glad I got to watch this video man. It plus the mention of the Propagation plan at the end of the wardance have thoroughly reinvigorated my interest in Luocha and his connections to Welt. While I do find some points that I disagree on, they've already been elaborated on in the comments. But then again, that's half the fun of theorizing right? This theory falls flat simply because oswaldo is the head of the marketing development department while diamond is the head of the strategic investment department. 2 different department head going head to head on who should become the next ceo of the IPC, thats why reclaiming penacony helped diamond in someway. If they these 2 head department are really just 1 person then there would have been no need in to do any reclaiming because this person has no competition, the fact that they are competing means they are 2 different people. Ive heard the theory that otto is oswaldo and he is the former nameless at the head of MDD and it does seem plausible. But him also diamond, i doubt it Boothill is an IPC hater, he was at the event because it was hosted by the IPC, it doesnt necessarily say hes there for oswaldo plus if he really knows where oswaldo is then he would have just went to the yuque ship instead of landing into the loufu ship. Boothill only wanted to sobotage the event with him, the criminal winning but fortunately Yanking was there to stop him. I was disappointed ngl because i thought its a character that already existed in hi3 that isnt void arhives

Simply because it does not benefit 1 person hence why there is a competition to begin with. You do not give a witness lines like "person A is fighting against person B" if the witness themselves know that person A and person B are the same person unless they are lying but they have no reason to lie unless they are 4th wall breakers just to deceive the audience but they arent
It's most likely that the IPC as a whole doesn't know that Diamond and Oswaldo are the same (Diamond is just a code name, after all). But if Void Archives (as Diamond and Oswaldo) is able to pit his two departments against each other (not him personally, but the people beneath him) so intensely that no other department stands a chance, then no matter which of the departments comes out on top, Void Archives is the winner, whether it's as Diamond or as Oswaldo. I wouldn't go this direction at all, because it is overly convoluted except for the fact that **hoyoverse has done this plot with this same character before**. It's how he operates, and so I expect it of him. The thing with Boothill, the event wasn't hosted by the IPC. It was hosted by the Luofu and the IPC was present. But as we saw in the event, the IPC didn't actually announce they were sponsoring most of the competitors until AFTER the event had already started. Boothill has to have been there for some other reason - hence the potential Oswaldo connection. What other character did you think it was?
@@iamemamae Diamond is a codename yes same as aventurine, topaz, jade and the rest of them. It is a code name but that does not translate to "unseen face" only "unknown name" like how topaz is jelena or aventurine is kakavasha. Just because they did that type of story doesnt mean that type of plan will be implemented at that specific part of the story, it could very well be a different cast on a different setting. A lot of speculation, not enough thought to how it could go wrong like "why the need to do that?", making a theory without respecting the evidences against it. It doesnt matter if the IPC announced it earlier or at the start of the wardance. Boothill can still compete the same way luka and svarog competed even without invites if he goes through the knockout stages. And if oswaldo really was his target then the shackling prison would have been his target, not the wardance. On your video, you assumed that oswaldo and diamond are the same people and that no one knows they are the same people. Oswaldo is a former nameless, assuming hes evil. Its easy to see that if he is going to be the IPC head then he will like exploit all planets connected to the IPC and conquer more planets like how a trailblazer explores the cosmos. If loucha is indeed oswaldo then why the hell would he be carrying remnants of the propagation with a goal to kill yaoshi the abundance, that seems like a very 180 motivation and has 0 correlation to the IPC. If loucha is indeed oswaldo then how was he present at the penacony-aventurine-meeting aftermath when at this time he would have been interrogated at the yuque. Considering oswaldo is at a very high position and would alert the seer strategist that they somehow caught a high ranking IPC person and yet the seer strategist had no important comment about loucha's past but was more focused on the coffin and this only means 1 thing, loucha's status was overshadowed by the contents on his coffin which would be unlikely if he really was a high ranking IPC person. I dont personally play hi3 but i expected a person who also created an org with x memebers that somehow is also replicated to diamond creating his own org with x memebers. But i get it, this game doesnt revolve around hi3 so its stupid to assume every future plotline is somehow hi3 again and again.

About the "turning other species into Vidyadhara" thing: while never explicitly stated anywhere (as far as I'm aware), it's implied through the deep care the surviving Quintet members have for Bailu and the convenient timing of her birth that that's exactly what Dan Feng did to Baiheng, and Bailu is her reincarnated as a Vidyadhara. There are also a lot of visual connections between the 2 such as their hair, names, and their *identical* eyes.

I have a few questions. 1. If VA is Diamond, why and how did Qilpoth recognize him as their Emanator? Since Scheneider runs counterintuitive to Preservation, and I'm sure Qilpoth would know one's true intentions. 2. If VA is Schneider, Luocha and Diamond at the same time, and the smoking gun of VA = Diamond is the golden metal arm, why does Luocha's hand look organic? 3. Even if he hides himself, I'm sure Diamond would HAVE to show himself before the Board of Directors, and there they would know that him and Scheneider are the same person, unless VA has a shapeshifting ability I'm unaware of? 4. The Xianzhou knows Luocha's true name, and assuming it's "Oswaldo Schenider", they'd know this is an IPC guy. 5. What about the acts Jing Yuan spoke of in Jingliu's companion quest that Luocha did? Is he referring to atrocities under his Luocha, Schenider, or maybe in another persona VA is cosplaying? 6. How does Jingliu slot into this? Is VA also playing her like a fiddle?
VA doesnt actually have a metal arm, its just a glove, you can see his hand in the first chapter of alien space and welt asks him about his glove he always wears :)
@@sadgeplatinum19 VA doesn't really have a shape-shifting ability. He can have different hosts which would make it look like he might but that's about it. It's similar to how a helobi will take a host only VA will typically get the body *after* they live their life.
1. Ok so at this point I don't think he is an emanator. As Void Archives he's able to mimic the powers of others to a lesser extent, so my best guess is he once ran into or studied the powers of an Emanator of Preservation (mmmmaybe Aventurine??), and now puts them to use. 2. VA doesn't necessarily NEED to wear the metal hand and Mask, it's just part of his chosen aesthetic from time to time. If those things are associated with Diamond, they're things that he'd have to leave behind if he were going undercover on the Xianzhou. 3. We don't actually know much about how the Board of Directors operates, so it's possible he might've found a way in without revealing himself. We'll have to wait and see. 4. The Xianzhou doesn't necessarily know Luocha's true name. Jing Yuan does though - and he specifically says its a bit of a tongue twister. 5. We'll have to wait and see on that one. We don't have much information about the other things Luocha has done, hopefully we'll get more information on that in the future. 6. I don't have any info on Jingliu at the moment, but I've got my eyes open.
I think there maybe a timing issue, but only because we don't know the timing of several events. -the destruction of Aeragan-Epharshel -genocide of the Avgins -Void leaving the express -how long Welt has been on the express. So, Void would have had to have left before "Unknown Disaster" on Aeragan-Epharshel and the Avgins Massacre, the second is at least 10-20 years prior, depending on Aventurine's age both currently and when his people died. It's not impossible but it makes the timeline vital.

Excellent video! Your content is always so well-edited and very well researched. I love how these big plot points are handled in this game and can lead to super interesting theories like this. The game gives you pretty much all the clues you need, but spreads them out so sporadically that unless you're actively looking for connections, you won't think to put 2 and 2 together. I think Taoron is going to be the next big villain for the next time we return to the Xianzhou, basically the next continuance questline's Hoolay so to speak, and I can definitely see the IPC wanting to work with him to weaken the Xianzhou Alliance by building even more distrust between the different factions of one ship, but between the ships and the generals themselves. I also find it funny how "turning other species into Vidyadhara was what Dan Feng wanted to do to revive Baiheng and that failed spectacularly, yet Taoran is like "you know what, he may have been onto something." lol I think it's also interesting how based on the description of Luocha's signature light cone, the piece of Tayzzy in the coffin is sentient to some degree, as it stabbed a thorn through his palm. That could lead to very interesting theories about the Cornerstones if they also contains fragments of the Swarm's Aeon and are possibly sentient as well. Also I'm glad you addressed the counterargument that there should be an Otto variant running around in the HSR universe. It would be really funny if we found him and confronted him thinking he's Luocha, and he is just so confused about who we are.
Yeah, I'm really interested in Taoran. I had a whole section that I cut about the possibility of the Vidyadhara coming after Dan Heng to figure how he made that transmutation work, especially now that we know that they messed with his head SPECIFICALLY so he would remember it. Cause here's the thing - it went sideways, but it didn't fail. Baiheng came back as Bailu (same hair, same eyes, her tail does the same little curl as a foxian's, she has the power of abundance which Dan Feng used, etc). I'm very curious about the Propagation, and I can't WAIT to see what comes next!

Because he would be the counterpart to welt because welt is the only one who seems to not have a counter part from the stelaron hunters. I don't think Void is with the Stellaron hunters specifically because they have made a big deal about this "former nameless" in the IPC. I did do a big ol' text slide near the end where I explained how the variants and how the difference between Luocha and Void might work.

27:40 “Because Void Archives is from another universe, and the universe is known to have variations on the characters from his original universe, then there should be a version of Void Archives that is originally from the star rail universe running around somewhere” The rest of the theory is fine, but this and saying that Luocha is Void Archives don’t add up. Void Archives is a Divine Key made from the Herrscher of Reason, therefore, there should be no other variations of him in HSR other than himself. And even if there was, they wouldn’t have the appearance of Otto Apocalypse because they’d need to have one of his Soulium bodies, and that technology hasn’t been seen in HSR. There’s also the hair style and the timing of welt and VA’s arrival in the star rail universe.
Parallel realities (which HI3 and Star Rail are) often have not just variants of the same people, but also similar events and other concepts. For example. The Herrschers DO exist in Star Rail, but they are ancient concepts forged into swords, all of which are now contained in Acheron's blade. So if there is a Void Archives variant in star rail, it would have to take a different form. Maybe one of the cornerstones (Aventurine's abilities are similar in some ways) or maybe it's something that'll be created by Ruan Mei since the divine keys in HI3 were made by "Dr. Mei" idk yet. But yeah, the timeline is wrong, and I'm working on a sort of "flash theory" video that'll explain my thoughts on that. :)

Fantastic theory! And, honestly, I love your delivery of your topics, epiphanies, and evidence. It will be interesting to see what happens next. But, if Elio (spelling?) is trying to derail the swarm, that may very well be why he put the trailblazer where he did--and why they pushed for the Express to become as involved as they did on the Luofu. It allows the Luofu to call on them again as allies and help counter the subterfuge. Also, I've been curious for a while why the Trailblazer lost their memories. Sure, it could be the process they went through in order to hold and harness the power of a stelleron just did that to them; however, for someone to be able to see new pathways, they have to be unhindered by old bias. Or, at least when I'm writing my stories, I try to have depth to the reasoning a character would lose something like that.
We don't yet really know what's going on with Elio. We know the Trailblazer will be facing off against an Aeon at some point, but Elio's actual plan and the pieces he's trying to move into place are all fairly fluid still. We'll find out. I like the theory that the Trailblazer is an amnesiac Elio, but I don't have enough evidence to support it yet.
it's an interesting theory! however: in the adventure mission, he states he's "registered" with the ipc and then he also states he's "registered" with another xianzhou alliance ship. i feel like to say he IS part of the ipc is reaching a little, because then he would be part of the xianzhou alliance as well-- it seems like he's kind of like an independent contractor who does business with multiple factions.
also: luocha is a variant of otto apocalypse, who welt also has history with, but he is not the void archives, as far as we've been shown. the void archives are a separate entity. it's possible the void archives are part of the ipc, but if luocha were the void archives themselves, i believe welt would be far more vocal about raising the alarm given that the void archives kidnapped him from the hi3rd universe. plus, it's implied that the "blond traveler" woke up march, isn't it? if that's the case, why doesn't she recognize luocha right away?
See, here's the thing - I know he's technically just "registered" but given that he's playing RIGHT into the IPC's Plan and following the same pattern as the other stonehearts, I still count it.
I'm pretty sure Luocha is VA - the way they've been framing Welt's past with void in the readables and such. I wrote about this at 27:40 in the video - trying to pull variants into the picture starts to overcomplicate things at least in my opinion. No matter which way I looked at it, things started to just overlap in strange ways or become tangled up. I'm not sure why March wouldn't recognize him. Maybe he preferred to wear the mask until leaving the express?

From Luocha's quest: Welt: As you know, there are infinite worlds in this universe that can be similar yet different from each other in various ways. The same is true of the people on those worlds. That's why it's possible for us to run into individuals on multiple worlds who share an appearance, but not a personality... and Welt: However... in most cases, their fates will walk a similar course. I've seen two people who looked almost identical to this Luocha... They were not of the virtuous persuasion. That seems to be different to me from "I recognize him *as* Otto or the VA". Him mentioning that there are variants seems to suggest that he believes Luocha is a third Otto copy-- I don't think he'd likely forget the entity that kidnapped him, and I can't think of an in-character reason that he'd keep Luocha's identity from the others if he did think it was the VA.
Ah, I forgot about that line. I'd assumed that having more than two of the same character (which is required in this case - there's either like...1 of them or there's 3+) felt less likely to me than them all being the same, but if Mr. Yang is saying he knows of two others, then that actually flips the script. insane theory! i find a few things interesting the ipc *knew* how to use the ipc-xianzhou agreement to their advantage the xianzhou will most likely have conflict with a potential revived ting yuan(or at least her revived consciousness) giving the ipc yet another avenue tbh luocha doesn't give me oswaldo or diamond vibes but why else would he have propagation bits in his coffin if he were just a merchant? it makes sense but i currently don't vibe with it also im currently wondering if the destruction's gonna partner up with the propagation cos there's no way making the propagation a 'good thing' is gonna end up good and we have yet to learn how the destruction's gonna potentially wreck the universe. we also have ruan mei and the levaithan bits to worry about also also i really appreciate this video having captions
That doesn't really explain the Gold Hand connection. And without that, we don't have a reason to connect VA/Otto to Diamond at all. And also it leaves Luocha out of the picture. It just overcomplicates things no matter what way I look at it. I really hope and want the Otto Variant to be here at some point in the story, but with the characters and information we have at the moment, it doesn't fit cleanly without making more assumptions than I'm currently comfortable with :/
@iamemamae It does leave out Luocha but (I don't fully know what happened to Otto Apoclaypse in HI3) But Luocha has more similarities with Otto Apocalypse from the Shattered Swords Visual Novel where he carries a coffin, goes by the nane "Raksha" and meets Sushang. OofieTVs video on "Who is the Raksha" shows the similarities even though she disagrees with me. I haven't seen much interaction with Luocha and Sushang in HSR yet he has voice lines about her. And he seems to have lines about people he is intertwined with like Jing Yuan and Jingliu. What if Luocha IS HI3 Otto Apocalypse Diamond is HSR Otto Apocalypse And Oswaldo is Void Archives It could explain Luochas last character story line. " "Go to the Xianzhou," The one who gave him the coffin said. "Don't forget your promise." "Never" Luocha promised but silently made another vow" If the coffin does contain parts of the Swarm, and he was given it and ordered to do something, Luocha cant be the leader of the IPC as that would mean there's someone above him pulling the strings. If it was Diamond Luochas working for and both are aware they are alternate universe counterparts... Diamond might be the one employing Luocha for what Diamond thinks is a shared goal between them. Luocha also actually doesn't have a Gold right hand as in his E6 picture, his right hand is DELIBERATELY shown as normal and human. I like the possibility of 2 alternate versions with the same trauma working together but actually both have different perspectives and one teaches the other how to move on. I can't explain how HI3 Otto got to HSR. Also if VA was Oswaldo travelling with Welt on the Express, how did he cause the genocide on Signoia VI when Adventurine was a child? Oswaldo was already a main IPC player at the time
A fairly overlooked f2p lightcone for him is Texture of Memories, the 5* herta shop lightcone. My reasoning is; it gives you ERS, which lessens the ERS substats needed for Broken Keel or just in general giving more leeway in the subs for other stats; since he will be getting hit the most with his taunt values, his shield will probably run out and when that happens the passive shield will help his survability until he can ult again (it does scale on hp, but he already has the 3rd highest base hp in the game and you'll probs have a good amount for an ok shield); and at max ranks it will give him another 24% DMG reduction innately when he does have shields. I will say though that this lightcone would work better with a well invested Gepard since the passive shield is something you can't completely and consistently rely on since it has a 3 turn cooldown and it doesn't do anything to increase his team wide shields (like Def etc.) since it's mostly about increasing his potential survivability and sustain in the way of tanking. Whilst there are better herta lightcones to get, considering the only other truly f2p options are not really that good for him. "We are Wildfire" is fine for exploration, but for lategame/harder content it's only really good for high damage dps teams since it's value is lost in drawn out battles. And "Destiny's Threads Forewoven" is a damage focused lightcone, which isn't good for Geppy.
I saw a theory where they pointed out Ruan Mei's involvement. What if Ruan Mei was the one that provided Loucha with fragments of Tayzzyronth afterall she was conducting experiments to resurrect the emanator of propagation. Jingliu was working with Loucha because Ruan Mei introduced them and the person who Jingliu said can cure her mara was Ruan Mei. It was briefly hinted at that Ruan Mei had resurrected Tingyun and was on her way to Xianzhou Loufu at the end of 2.5 so what if the person whose going to use remainings of Tayzzyronth to kill Yaoshi is Ruan Mei? And the reason why Loucha and Jingliu surrendered for planting the stelleron even tho they didn't was to have a meeting with the marshal and propose their god killing protocol so that Ruan Mei could be invited to the Loufu and freely conduct experiments. When I heard this, I tried connecting your theory and this theory and it raises even more questions but I know one thing if we have Sunday, Loucha, Jingliu, Tingyun's resurrected form and Ruan Mei in 2.7 it is going to be CRAZY
That definitely makes sense, but where did Ruan Mei get them? It makes sense that she would just kinda have them (and also she has Himeko get her things in the express all the time), but Ruan Mei also has ties to the IPC. So it could be the other way around - She wants Tayzzyronth's fragments from Luocha for her experiments.
This theory blew my mind, I'm a casual player who likes deep lore but doesn't know much about it, but these types of theories are very fun to see. In fact the reason I started HSR is because I like sci-fi, and the reason I stayed is because the idea that there are cosmic gods who are not made of flesh and blood, but are beyond understanding, with their ethereal forms, seemed incredible to me, and super curious. I mean, are you telling me that a near-omnipotent being shoots star comets like they were simple arrows? And that there are more of them that each have their own path? That's why I love Star Rail, this lore is too interesting (Obviously also for its characters).
Loucha being dimond is kinda hard to swallow i kinda doubt that hoyo would realease one of the most important character of the story in secret i think they would make a big deal when releasing dimond like they did with acheron

Void Archives is a Divine Key - a weapon made from a Herrscher Core (Herrschers are like super Gods in hi3 that are on the same level or above Aeons and the source of their powers are Cores which you could say are like a Gnosis from Genshin). Welt's cane which creates black holes is also a Divine Key made from the core of the 9th Herrscher - the Herrscher of Stars. Void Archives is made from the core of 1st Herrscher, the Herrscher of Reason. Now there's several Herrschers in every era and new Cores appear; Welt himself is a Herrscher of Reason of the current era. Anyway, Void Archives is sentient because the authority of Reason houses every single piece of knowledge in the universe, hence his name being Void Archives. Void took over the body of one of Otto Apocalypse's clones, and Luocha is a variant of Otto. Welt and Void team up after discovering a threat that is targeting several universes and they travel together to HSR's world where Himeko saves them after their ship broke down. As for why does he matter.... Void Archives is fucking dangerous and he's loose in the HSR world 💀
@@Ruxie20 I didn't finish the HI3 story but my impression is that herrschers are more similar to emanators in power level than aeons, there is also no way that welt is as powerful as someone like the nihility, Acheron maybe but an Aeon no.

This theory is interesting as hell. To add on, tazzy was defeated by quiloth and was sealed somewhere. Would quiloth trust his emanators to protect the sealed aeon? Herta in the simulated universe said the "tazzy may eventually resurface". To add to this fu xuan in her writing called "glimpse into the beyond" a scholer showed her a piece of the amber that's was part of tazzy prison cell and that fu xuan could not see the future of the item. Also may not be important but the color of the amber was yellow 😬
My previous theory is about the Propagation and I touch on these things - I HIGHLY suggest you go check it out cause it very much plays into this theory.
Also dont forget funding and/or aiding the creating of a mechanical borisian that is stronger than most foot soliders by the Intelligencia Guild that could in theory be an enemy of the Alliance due to them using Borisan tissue.
I don't, Diamond sound absolutely nothing like VA even indirectly, VA is the type that has always used others, while Diamond gives people independence and even lets them speak for him. There's also no way VA of all people becomes an emanator
Eh I disagree, but here's the thing - he doesn't have to be an emanator at all. He can replicate others abilities, so as long as he's able to do a big ol' study sesh to understand them.

Just a thought. Another thing the IPC could do is offer the Vidyvadrah (i know, I spelt that wrong) the power of the propagation if the Xianzhou refuse it as it would give them the ability to reproduce or propagate their species!!
Every single theory you put out leaves me in a state of “this can’t be real….why does this make sense….what even is real!” And now my brain is processing the possibility for VA being the glitchtrap equivalent to Otto’s Springtrap in an unprompted manner or if there’s another fnaf reference hidden in VA’s character. In all honesty, I'm kind of mixed about this conclusion-- _I say as someone who reached this same answer a months ago._ Well, to be precise, there's 2 answers I reached ages ago, both of which I'm VERY conflicted about, and so I keep going back and forth between them, but this video helped me clear up a lot of the fog around both of the theories I had, and has now pushed me into investigating a potential link between Void Archive, Intellitrons, and Rupert the Emperor. 21 minutes in and before continuing futher may i suggest an idea/theory using his ultimate line and a trailer (aventurines trial) "the dead return" what if luocha is the stoneheart who might be dead and the remnant of the propagation ij his coffin is his breaking Cornerstone and hes partially in the godbreaker aliance to Have Ruan Mei Rip the propagation out of the cornerstone and by intertwining it with the abudance maybe even neutralising that fragments Presence wuthin the path of propagation If he is truly a loyal stone heart loyal to preservation then his task could be to find a way to prevent his cornerstones seal from breaking and has been told to not contact the IPC and to take any means necessary to prevent the aeal from beinf broken and luocha is taking that to mean remove the thing trying to break the seal which also if successful might reveal something terrifying like what id the corner stones were Only running a 1% output as the tangible power the stonehearts can tap into Because 99% of it is going to preserving the seal on the propagation fragments they contain
Omg…all these parallels. Otto took over Schicksal as Overseer and formed his private army of valkyries to „save humanity from Honkai“, which was not really his goal, but what he told everyone. You could say, he is a „Director“. He survived for several hundred years by preserving his mind and using clones out of solium. Some Amber Eras maybe. He wasn’t even human anymore. He knows how to scheme and talk his way into opportunities and he is ruthless enough to reach his goals. „"Mortal flesh is fragile, yet my heart is unyielding like the monolith. For without this resolve, the Way of Preservation would fade into oblivion."“ is a quote from Diamond. Why that much interest in the Amber Lord. Because it preserves something that would fade away otherwise…like an insect or a person. One of Kallens Clones Otto produced is also named Amber for that reason. Well…I’m sold they are the same person.
The IPC do actually have a stronger foothold on one of the other ships. In the Aurum Alley event, Sushung notes how the IPC have a strong cultural hold on the Xianzhou Yaoqing. Wild theory, if what little we have on regarding the ten stoneheart Agate suggesting they are leaning toward a Xianzhou based stoneheart I suspect them to be based in this stronghold within the Alliance. I somewhat think jokingly Skott is one their underlings they enjoy throwing into failure after failuere for their sadistic plesure.
While I don't think Luocha is Void Archives, I could believe a theory where we spin this around for Luocha to have been Diamond for a long time and Void Archives to have come into the picture later on. This entire scheme could have begun once the two of them met, but as it stands the time between the events of the game and Void Archives leaving the express can't have been long enough for him to get to the position Diamond is in.
After reading all these comments, I'm revising the theory a bit. The basics of it are still very true, BUT there's a key change at the end. I'll publish it sometime in the next couple weeks hopefully :)
thing is, on Luocha's dialogue on the express suggests that he and Welt have spoke on his visits. And Welts dialogue only suggests his suspicious of Luocha. I think it's more likely Luocha is this universe's version of Otto. like Himiko and Acheron is this universe of Himiko and Mei. BUT that doesn't mean he isn't like otto. I've seen theories out there to suggest that Luocha is immortal. Also he doesn't have a rating gun rating so whats up with that. but I think it's more likey if we follow your ideas: Luocha is diamond, doing otto like things because he is this universe of otto. -> void archives comes to this universe. Maybe becomes oswaldo. (two people being the same person). -> he works with Luocha on whatever his plan is. Void archives is not otto tho.

i think for the ipc only the stone hearts follow the preservation. if you look at how jade behaves with deals and the ipc you can see that hers is actually fair and equal as she even rejects firefly's offer since she has nothing to have. even so diamond seems to want the boards attention and even be amongst so what if diamond knows the IPC are actually following propagation or the voracity and the stonehearts are the only presevation members it would support why the stonehearts are strict in recruitment
Here's the thing - even within the stonehearts, there are followers of MULTIPLE aeons represented. Sugilite seems to follow Oroboros, we have someone who appears to be a memokeeper judging by some of the motifs around her (Obsidian), Jade is erudition, Topaz is hunt. I have a theory about that too, but that's for another day.

re: Luocha There's a few things I wanted to mention regarding Luocha that I think were misunderstood/misinterpreted when creating this theory. It's an interesting theory, nonetheless. 1) he's registered with both the IPC and the Xianzhou Alliance as a merchant. This doesn't necessarily mean he works for them. He's an independent merchant registered with a government body to conduct business. It's a normal thing for businesses and merchants, to need a business license, which is essentially what he has. 2) we know what planet Luocha's from. He's from the Purity Palace, which likely followed Ena. His E2 in CN is titled "bestowal from purity palace," and the boots for the purity palace relic set are inscribed with "Order" on the heel, so I really doubt he's Void Archives... 3) Welt's flashbacks weren't about Luocha, but about Void Archives. And we know they aren't the same person, because Luocha has a dialogue as a visitor on the Express about it. If Welt thought it was Void, why wouldn't that conversation go differently? If any of them actually knew Luocha prior to this, they would have treated him differently when he boarded as a visitor. 4) I feel like this is nitpicking a bit, but Otto didn't imprison Void Archives for 500 years... Otto just made contact with Void 500 years ago and they made a deal (VA would revive Kallen's father in exchange for Otto's life) that ended up not happening. It's more like they were companions for 500 years. With Otto an unwilling host to VA in his head for 500 years lol.
After reading all these comments, I'm revising the theory a bit. The basics of it are still very true, BUT there's a key change at the end. I'll publish it sometime in the next couple weeks hopefully :)
My response to this is basically one I already had when someone else tried connecting VA to Oswoldo. Assuming that this is true, that means Welt has been away from Earth for so many years that VA has time to climb an interstellar corporate ladder, kickstart both Adventurine and Boothill's tragic backstories and play an unknown number of Otto-style conspiracies... and that's just sad for Welt. I also assume that for him to also be Diamond he would require even more years on top. That said though, who is to say that VA doesn't have his own counterpart(or Otto counterpart) out there who is infact Diamond or Oswoldo and he joined up with the guy ? Imagine three to four of them running around and they're not clones...
Speaking of the 'power replicating ability' that's not quite the right way to put it. Void Archives' power is essentially the same as Welt's, they are able to create objects of human technology, provided they know enough about its internal make-up and workings. Void Archives being an ancient AI repository of information from an advanced ancient civilization gives him a massive edge to using this power, despite energy limitations. So for them to mimic any power, that power first needs to be 'tamed' into a product of civilized technology. That said, VA is absolutely capable of doing things we've seen Luocha do because he does in fact know a weapon that allows him to use those powers. The 'Abyss Flower' named in Luocha's skill is in fact also the name of this weapon. This is extra funny when the skill just says 'white flower' in the cn and jp... but the full name of Abyss Flower is actually 'Black Abyss White Flower' because it is made up of two parts; the Black Abyss and the White Flower. So they translated it as 'Abyss Flower' instead of 'White Flower' purely to tell you that this is a reference to that same weapon because most HI3 players only know it as Abyss Flower due to the shortened name.

@@iamemamae Sorry, there might be a bit of misunderstanding when I used 'human technology' here. I don't mean it has to be something made by -Earth humans-, just that iirc the powers has never been used to make something from outside of Earth's civilization yet. The missing piece of information here is that when they say 'understand', something like a 'mental blueprint' for a piece of technology needs to exist before VA or a Herrscher of Reason can replicate or modify it. It's not a simple matter of knowing the principles behind how a gun works. You need to understand the construction of a gun. That's the big limitation. Welt and Bronya are literal tech wizards. This is VA's huge advantage for being an ancient AI computer. He has the 'blueprints' to the other Divine Keys. Welt and Bronya could only construct Star of Eden because Anti-Entropy has done tons of research and experiments with it. So far only Bronya's broken the limitations by fully bringing the Herrscher core to its true extent, allowing her skip ahead and basically construct unfamiliar things that she knows theoretically could be made but hasn't been made. Since the core was presumably returned to Welt, it might be possible for him too. I'm just waiting for Welt to show that he can do something other than spam Star of Eden or Earth-level hardware in HSR.
Pretty sure the IPC doesn't have that imaginary bomb that vaporized all those planets anymore or any info on how to make it, herta does now, so they can't use something like that against the alliance

Diamond or Oswaldo disguise as Loucha is a bold theory. First, Jingyuan said "or must i utter that tongue-twister of the name" when face Loucha in the Jingliu quest. This clearly tell you that Jingyuan know Loucha real name, so he should already know that Loucha is Oswaldo or Diamond or not. And which that IPC plan is busted.
Okay, maybe now you said that "tongue-twisted name" is also fake, i will also remind you that they have a way to divine a person past, present and future. So unless their past got erase like March, Oswaldo or Diamond disguise should be busted. IPC plan also failed.

Here's the thing - the implication is that the names of the stonehearts are somewhat hidden. The name Kakavasha was pretty explicitly "buried" and we only have ever heard one person use the name Jelena, and it's by Jade, a person who would've known her before she became a stoneheart. That said, I do believe Jing Yuan knows Luocha is Oswaldo - he even knows some of the other things Oswaldo is known for. Which, if they have record of him, they would have no need to divine anything further. So, the matrix of prescience wouldn't need to be used in this situation.

A few things with the luocha theory. While I definitely think there is merit to it I disagree with some points. First off VA while having blond hair due to inhabiting one of Otto's soulium bodies his hair is always stylized in a different manner than Otto which we can also see its styled differently than Luocha. Another thing when it comes to his powers while he can replicate the powers of anything he can understand it will be less effective then the original. Third, this is tied to a visual novel so I wouldn't be suprised if you didnt know but in HI3 Otto went by Luocha when in china to make a deal with Fu Hua. I could definitely see Diamond being star rails equivalent to VA but the timing of Welt’s arrival on the express while not explicitly stated has been implied to be somewhat recent. Diamond has most likely doing things in the IPC for a long time given his position, how the lower ranking IPC memebers are to the stone hearts, and the connections he must have for his position. VA wouldnt have the time to do all of that in just a few years. I really do hope that if it is star rail's version of VA that we see their version of Welt.
The hairstyle was something that tripped me up a bit. I'd suggest reading through the text slide I put at 27:40. There probably is something additional at play here, I definitely don't have the full picture figured out, but with all the confirmed pieces in play at the moment, this is the one I feel explains everything without being overly complicated. We'll learn more about this in the future tho, I'm sure.
Then again, if Hoyo were to actually want to hide VA as Luocha, they'd have to change his hairstyle or it would be way too obvious. This way we can suspect him, but never be sure until they decide to reveal it

You didn't mention how Otto Apocalypse in the Saga of the Shattered Swords VN disguises himself as a merchant named Luocha with a coffin in tow to visit Shenzhou (hmm) to meet Immortal Fu Hua.

I played HI3 for the first 3 years and both in the story, but also in some of the events we see alternate timelines where parts of the story are being played out again with variations (or the story for that event was set in motion by one of these variations).* Since HSR is set in an alternate universe, this could be this universe’s version of that story.
I’m currently thinking that Loucha is Oswaldo, but Diamond is VA.
*Some of this goes into the Imaginary Tree/Sea of Quanta/Bubble Universe stuff which I never entirely wrapped my head around (the translation issues they had around that time definitely didn’t help). I tend to think of these as kinda like parallel universes, but I’ve been told that’s not entirely correct.
One very important detail: Herta's manuscripts tell us the IPC has been active for about 800 Amber Eras (75k-200k years) versus the beginning of the lone voyage era beginning a mere 8k years ago. The alliance itself was only signed a few thousand years after that, and the IPC was actually one of the first organisations the ships encountered when they left, beginning their preservation phase which was later replaced by Yaoshi when they gained their blessing. "An Overview of the Faith Crises in the Xianzhou Alliance" is the main source of this information.
The IPC became a powerhouse a very long time ago, just following the end of the Swarm Disaster and before the first Rubert war. The second Rubert war should line up with the aurumaton rebellion on the Xianzhou.
Additionally, the IPC has actually already taken over the Xianzhou Yaoqing, with many of their buildings being replaced by IPC buildings. The Luofu is unique in their resistance against the IPC.
My personal theory about Diamond's identity is that he's actually De Wayne mostly because we saw the stonehearts heading to the Cast Iron Throne which is exactly where De Wayne was last seen eternally trapped in a 'battle' with a guardian created by the Enigmata to stop him from reaching the throne. It's also a very apt name for the main rock theme guy. The star rail memelord devs really would ask each other 'hmm what should we name the strongest rock guy' and someone would respond 'dwayne the rock lol' and get a promotion on the spot.

idk just a bunch of thoughts, this theory is very fun and interesting but there are some things i disagree with and stuff i want to talk about(i accidentally deleted this whole thing but luckily i had an screenshot omg)
1. when did welt and VA arrived to star rail
-welt looks basically the same as when he met VA for the fist time, which doesn't mean too much considering welt has a weird thing with aging.
-unless himeko is some kind of long life species, she can't be very old, she had to be at least a teenager when she found the express, it would've taken sometime to fix it and she traveled for sometime before she found welt and VA
-march is not sure whether or not VA was there when she was found but she looks pretty much the same so its safe to assume it wasn't too long ago
2. oswaldo has been here for a long time
-oswaldo was already head of marketing department when he did all that stuff to aventurine's planet, aventurine was quite young when that happened, so some time has pasted since. oswaldo did do this early on in his career as head of marketing department tho, the question is, how long did it take for him to become head of marketing department?
-this could help both cases but it's also info so i'll leave it here for interpretation: sometime after the xianzhou allied w the IPC(who knows when), they did an investigation of the head of the departments, concluded that oswaldo was inexperienced, a Preservation zealot, an expansionist and a threat. Oswaldo had
little experience when they did the investigation, but we don't know when they did it nor do we know how inexperienced oswaldo really was. If they did it
early on in their alliance, he would have been IPC for a long time.
-continuing with quote above, he is said to be a preservation zealot, if he really was devoted to qlipoth he likely wouldn't want to use tazzyronth, then again, the IPC is always contradicting themselves saying they serve the amber lord when they do propagation stuff, he's high up so he's more likely to know more.

3. Oswaldo might be a nameless from before himeko took over
-mikhail, tiernan and razalina are all referred to as former nameless and they were there before himeko, so its fairly possible he's like them. this point is weak

-we will likely run into more former nameless cuz that's our faction, the words "former nameless" don't really hold that much meaning
4. the connection between luocha, void archives and oswaldo is weak
-from luocha's story quest, it doesn't feel like luocha really is void archives, even if welt had that whole flashback, its possible luocha is just an otto expy and not void archives, especially considering otto and VA are pretty different people. luocha's hair is similar to ottos but VA as far as i know has never worn his hair like that. i have heard something about otto not being able to have expies but i haven't seen official proof or know where it came from in the first place, if that's true tho luocha is very likely to be related to VA.
-diamonds hand is actually a robotic hand while VA's is just a glove. while the source isn't the most accurate, it is to be noted that it looks very different and
the shade of gold also is different, if the devs had wanted us to make this connection they probably would've made it look a little more similar.
-otto, VA and luocha are all ALWAYS depicted wearing white clothing while diamond is shown wearing black
-luocha's connection to the IPC doesn't seem very strong, he's a merchant, it makes sense for him to have some dealings with the ipc
5. oswaldo and diamond
-they're both board of direction members, i've never had a job but google says board of directors have meetings called board meetings that most companies have once in a while, how could they have meetings if 2 of them are the same person? maybe one of them is just conveniently absent on the meetings, that might be suspicious but if many directors are often missing then it wouldn't seem too out of the ordinary. or maybe its not an in person meeting, like aventurine's trial, a group call. imagine him switching devices and using a voice changer, maybe even talking to himself lol kinda funny.
-their connection without luocha is weak, playing both sides and pitting them against each is a pretty otto thing to do but otto is not VA, so if luocha is oswaldo and diamond, i think he'd be more related to otto than VA. if he really is VA tho it would be an interesting connection from VA to otto

These exactly! Also Luocha is registered in the IPC not because hes an employee per se, but just so he has a permit to go to diff planets as a merchant. It's also mentioned in the exact same dialogue that he's registered in the XZ Yuque, so ema's claim is very flimsy at best
Diamond and Oswaldo aren't on the board of directors _yet_. I seem to recall Oswaldo is being considered as a candidate but pretty much anybody who gets to his and Diamond's ranks are considered to be candidates for the Board of the IPC. That said, I also find the theoretical connection between Diamond and Oswald pretty tenuous at best. Especially since the Strategic Investment Department and the Marketing Development Department are both feuding. Which could lead into Ema's whole thing about him playing both sides against the middle but it's hard to see _why_.
Sidenote: people forget that you can be one of the Nameless and on the path of the Trailblaze without ever actually having been a passenger on the Express (Baiheng, for instance, falls in this category. Also we meet an NPC on Penacony that follows the Trailblaze but never rode the train. Etc). I know Oswaldo is said to be/have been a Nameless but I don't recall anywhere that explicitly says he was ever a passenger.
It wasn't until I was reading your comment that another possibility entered my mind. I think I'm gonna be making another video about this because YOURE RIGHT, but I didn't have another like...arrangement of events and characters that made sense with the information we have. Welt recalling an interaction with VA from HI3 when he sees Luocha's face ≠ this happened in HSR. How is it anything more than an interesting flashback?
While I hope this idea pans out for sure, as I think it'd be interesting, i can't see this as an evidence point.
2. 19:50 by your logic here, this also makes him part of the Xianzhou? He says he's registered with the Xianzhou @ the Yuque, and at a specific branch with the IPC
If anything, it'd be weirder for an itinerant merchant to *not* be registered with the IPC, given their humongous size.

I will admit that the rest of the theory (offer, take rejection gracefully, come back after making the offer more enticing) does sound enticing, considering what we've seen the Stonehearts do elsewhere.
3) it's said in the loading screen for Cornerstones that they are literally a part of Diamond, the only Emanator of Preservation that we know of rn. So imo, it'd be weirder if the origin of the Stonehearts' powers *couldn't* use the Stonehearts' abilities.
Then again, i could be misunderstanding, and this is the *source* of that theory lol.
4) wasn't the whole thing with DF and the Transmutation Arcaneum (TA) specifically what you theorized? DF and Yingxing were attempting to bring Baiheng back. They attempted this through a couple different methods. One was the flesh of Shuhu (?) that Blade is now affected by, and the way DF attempted was through the TA, effectively killing 2 birds with 1 stone (Propagation of Vidyadhara & save of Baiheng)

2. the only reason bailu is speculated to be baiheng is that they look similar, jingliu thinks so and jing yuan might also think so. Jingliu was in mourning, marastriken, manipulated by preceptors and was experiencing hallucinations likely from an entity known for creating hallucinations about loved ones dying during the sedition. Not to mention her horrible memory. I love her but she really cant be trusted. and jing yuan wasnt even present at the sedition, all his info was likely from jingliu.

I like to add to number 3, Taravan is also a known emanator of presevation.
1 and 2. Neither of these things prove Luocha = Express guy or Luocha = IPC. But given the fact that we see him not only furthering the IPC's plans, but also using the exact same tactics as other stonehearts, it's a leap I'm willing to make.
3. There's somewhere else where it said the cornerstones come directly from Qlipoth and were given to diamond. At the moment, I'm questioning everything regarding the cornerstones (see my "secret of the cornerstones" video) but we'll see.
4. Yes, I'm pretty sure it was. I cut about 3 minutes of the video out where I explained that in further detail, cause it just didn't have anything to do with Diamond XD
Everything I've seen says Bailu=Baiheng, and it's not even subtle, ESPECIALLY after Taoran's speech where he says other species CAN BE transmuted. Bailu not only looks exactly like Baiheng (same eyes, same hair), but she also has the power of abundance, and both their names begin with "Bai" which seems to be something the Vidyadhara do, carrying on the name of their past incarnation ("dan" in Dan Heng and Dan Feng for example). And keep in mind, Baiheng was dead at the time - so Yingxing may have been willing to do unthinkable things for the sake of bringing her back, or may have only reached the conclusion that such things were "unthinkable" after experienced the affects of immortality firsthand. I need to make that video, don't I?

I find the idea of the IPC secretly being propigation really intresting and definitely holds ground, and I believe most of the theories in you videos that I have seen so far (I have just discovered your channel and have only seen a couple videos), the only issue I have seen is the mention that the void archives joined the IPC yet you are also saying he is the person who runs all of the IPC. It feels very far-fetched. Perhaps the void archives has simply reached some sort of major role similar to the stonehearts, just in a more secretive fasion.

From everything we see about the Void Archives, where it has the power to “Mimicry”, it seems to be limited to divide Keys. Even then, it’s a far weaker version of said key. So I doubt it would be able to copy the power of a Path. Especially to the point where they could fool a general that has fought abundance for centuries.
As for his connection with Diamond(Or Oswaldo), I doubt it, since it’s been noticed that he had personally made deals with Taravan to work against Oswaldo during the time both Loucha and Jingliu were sent to prison. Besides, I doubt the IPC would take it kindly that the Alliance send one of their P-47 Heads to prison. The Alliance also alr knows about both Diamond and Oswaldo since they have a threat level in one of the books found in the Luofu, so instead of Jing Yuan calling them out on being followers of abundance, the general would’ve asked why a follower of preservation was there. And consider how Oswaldo is quite known...For his destructive way of doing things, Sushang would've called him out on it since she came from a ship that had been hugely influenced by the IPC.
Besides, at the end of the day, I don’t really understand why Loucha/void archives would help the Ipc in this scenario. He isn’t Otto, afterall. It’s in his programming to help humanity. Reviving an Aeon that nearly wipe out the Universe hardly sounds like helping humanity.
After reading all these comments, I'm revising the theory a bit. The basics of it are still very true, BUT there's a key change at the end. I'll publish it sometime in the next couple weeks hopefully :)

That is one insane theory, they really hid this all right under our noses. If anything it is very smart as when the game just came out people do not know where to look for the end game yet and Yang was really the most interesting character to talk about since most 5 stars at the time had not nearly his lore or flare so people would get to know about it easily by word of mouth or youtube or the likes. Put the focus on it when the relevance is not clear yet so it is in the far back of everybody's minds when the next piece falls into place. God this is beautiful.

This theory falls flat simply because oswaldo is the head of the marketing development department while diamond is the head of the strategic investment department. 2 different department head going head to head on who should become the next ceo of the IPC, thats why reclaiming penacony helped diamond in someway. If they these 2 head department are really just 1 person then there would have been no need in to do any reclaiming because this person has no competition, the fact that they are competing means they are 2 different people.
Ive heard the theory that otto is oswaldo and he is the former nameless at the head of MDD and it does seem plausible. But him also diamond, i doubt it
Boothill is an IPC hater, he was at the event because it was hosted by the IPC, it doesnt necessarily say hes there for oswaldo plus if he really knows where oswaldo is then he would have just went to the yuque ship instead of landing into the loufu ship. Boothill only wanted to sobotage the event with him, the criminal winning but fortunately Yanking was there to stop him.

It's most likely that the IPC as a whole doesn't know that Diamond and Oswaldo are the same (Diamond is just a code name, after all). But if Void Archives (as Diamond and Oswaldo) is able to pit his two departments against each other (not him personally, but the people beneath him) so intensely that no other department stands a chance, then no matter which of the departments comes out on top, Void Archives is the winner, whether it's as Diamond or as Oswaldo. I wouldn't go this direction at all, because it is overly convoluted except for the fact that **hoyoverse has done this plot with this same character before**. It's how he operates, and so I expect it of him.
The thing with Boothill, the event wasn't hosted by the IPC. It was hosted by the Luofu and the IPC was present. But as we saw in the event, the IPC didn't actually announce they were sponsoring most of the competitors until AFTER the event had already started. Boothill has to have been there for some other reason - hence the potential Oswaldo connection.
What other character did you think it was?
@@iamemamae Diamond is a codename yes same as aventurine, topaz, jade and the rest of them. It is a code name but that does not translate to "unseen face" only "unknown name" like how topaz is jelena or aventurine is kakavasha.
Just because they did that type of story doesnt mean that type of plan will be implemented at that specific part of the story, it could very well be a different cast on a different setting. A lot of speculation, not enough thought to how it could go wrong like "why the need to do that?", making a theory without respecting the evidences against it.
It doesnt matter if the IPC announced it earlier or at the start of the wardance. Boothill can still compete the same way luka and svarog competed even without invites if he goes through the knockout stages. And if oswaldo really was his target then the shackling prison would have been his target, not the wardance.
On your video, you assumed that oswaldo and diamond are the same people and that no one knows they are the same people. Oswaldo is a former nameless, assuming hes evil. Its easy to see that if he is going to be the IPC head then he will like exploit all planets connected to the IPC and conquer more planets like how a trailblazer explores the cosmos. If loucha is indeed oswaldo then why the hell would he be carrying remnants of the propagation with a goal to kill yaoshi the abundance, that seems like a very 180 motivation and has 0 correlation to the IPC. If loucha is indeed oswaldo then how was he present at the penacony-aventurine-meeting aftermath when at this time he would have been interrogated at the yuque. Considering oswaldo is at a very high position and would alert the seer strategist that they somehow caught a high ranking IPC person and yet the seer strategist had no important comment about loucha's past but was more focused on the coffin and this only means 1 thing, loucha's status was overshadowed by the contents on his coffin which would be unlikely if he really was a high ranking IPC person.
I dont personally play hi3 but i expected a person who also created an org with x memebers that somehow is also replicated to diamond creating his own org with x memebers. But i get it, this game doesnt revolve around hi3 so its stupid to assume every future plotline is somehow hi3 again and again.

About the "turning other species into Vidyadhara" thing: while never explicitly stated anywhere (as far as I'm aware), it's implied through the deep care the surviving Quintet members have for Bailu and the convenient timing of her birth that that's exactly what Dan Feng did to Baiheng, and Bailu is her reincarnated as a Vidyadhara. There are also a lot of visual connections between the 2 such as their hair, names, and their *identical* eyes.
Mhm - I cut 3 minutes of video where I explained that (notice even her tail curls like a Foxian's as opposed to Dan Feng's serpentine one?), I cut it cause I felt it didn't have enough to do with Luocha, and I had a handful of people telling me "Wait that was explicit though?" BUT then I had a bunch of people express confusion in the comments, so yeah I'm gonna turn that whole thing into its own video XD

That's some crazy theory here ! It makes me even more excited for next revelations about Luocha, and the Stonehearts and Diamond.
I have a few questions.
1. If VA is Diamond, why and how did Qilpoth recognize him as their Emanator? Since Scheneider runs counterintuitive to Preservation, and I'm sure Qilpoth would know one's true intentions.
2. If VA is Schneider, Luocha and Diamond at the same time, and the smoking gun of VA = Diamond is the golden metal arm, why does Luocha's hand look organic?
3. Even if he hides himself, I'm sure Diamond would HAVE to show himself before the Board of Directors, and there they would know that him and Scheneider are the same person, unless VA has a shapeshifting ability I'm unaware of?
4. The Xianzhou knows Luocha's true name, and assuming it's "Oswaldo Schenider", they'd know this is an IPC guy.
5. What about the acts Jing Yuan spoke of in Jingliu's companion quest that Luocha did? Is he referring to atrocities under his Luocha, Schenider, or maybe in another persona VA is cosplaying?
6. How does Jingliu slot into this? Is VA also playing her like a fiddle?

VA doesnt actually have a metal arm, its just a glove, you can see his hand in the first chapter of alien space and welt asks him about his glove he always wears :)
@@sadgeplatinum19 VA doesn't really have a shape-shifting ability. He can have different hosts which would make it look like he might but that's about it. It's similar to how a helobi will take a host only VA will typically get the body *after* they live their life.
1. Ok so at this point I don't think he is an emanator. As Void Archives he's able to mimic the powers of others to a lesser extent, so my best guess is he once ran into or studied the powers of an Emanator of Preservation (mmmmaybe Aventurine??), and now puts them to use.
2. VA doesn't necessarily NEED to wear the metal hand and Mask, it's just part of his chosen aesthetic from time to time. If those things are associated with Diamond, they're things that he'd have to leave behind if he were going undercover on the Xianzhou.
3. We don't actually know much about how the Board of Directors operates, so it's possible he might've found a way in without revealing himself. We'll have to wait and see.
4. The Xianzhou doesn't necessarily know Luocha's true name. Jing Yuan does though - and he specifically says its a bit of a tongue twister.
5. We'll have to wait and see on that one. We don't have much information about the other things Luocha has done, hopefully we'll get more information on that in the future.
6. I don't have any info on Jingliu at the moment, but I've got my eyes open.
Fair fair, either way, it's something that seems to be unique to VA and Diamond at the moment.
I think there maybe a timing issue, but only because we don't know the timing of several events.
-the destruction of Aeragan-Epharshel
-genocide of the Avgins
-Void leaving the express
-how long Welt has been on the express.
So, Void would have had to have left before "Unknown Disaster" on Aeragan-Epharshel and the Avgins Massacre, the second is at least 10-20 years prior, depending on Aventurine's age both currently and when his people died.
It's not impossible but it makes the timeline vital.

Excellent video! Your content is always so well-edited and very well researched. I love how these big plot points are handled in this game and can lead to super interesting theories like this. The game gives you pretty much all the clues you need, but spreads them out so sporadically that unless you're actively looking for connections, you won't think to put 2 and 2 together.
I think Taoron is going to be the next big villain for the next time we return to the Xianzhou, basically the next continuance questline's Hoolay so to speak, and I can definitely see the IPC wanting to work with him to weaken the Xianzhou Alliance by building even more distrust between the different factions of one ship, but between the ships and the generals themselves. I also find it funny how "turning other species into Vidyadhara was what Dan Feng wanted to do to revive Baiheng and that failed spectacularly, yet Taoran is like "you know what, he may have been onto something." lol
I think it's also interesting how based on the description of Luocha's signature light cone, the piece of Tayzzy in the coffin is sentient to some degree, as it stabbed a thorn through his palm. That could lead to very interesting theories about the Cornerstones if they also contains fragments of the Swarm's Aeon and are possibly sentient as well.
Also I'm glad you addressed the counterargument that there should be an Otto variant running around in the HSR universe. It would be really funny if we found him and confronted him thinking he's Luocha, and he is just so confused about who we are.
Yeah, I'm really interested in Taoran. I had a whole section that I cut about the possibility of the Vidyadhara coming after Dan Heng to figure how he made that transmutation work, especially now that we know that they messed with his head SPECIFICALLY so he would remember it. Cause here's the thing - it went sideways, but it didn't fail. Baiheng came back as Bailu (same hair, same eyes, her tail does the same little curl as a foxian's, she has the power of abundance which Dan Feng used, etc).
I'm very curious about the Propagation, and I can't WAIT to see what comes next!

Because he would be the counterpart to welt because welt is the only one who seems to not have a counter part from the stelaron hunters. I don't think Void is with the Stellaron hunters specifically because they have made a big deal about this "former nameless" in the IPC. I did do a big ol' text slide near the end where I explained how the variants and how the difference between Luocha and Void might work.

27:40 “Because Void Archives is from another universe, and the universe is known to have variations on the characters from his original universe, then there should be a version of Void Archives that is originally from the star rail universe running around somewhere” The rest of the theory is fine, but this and saying that Luocha is Void Archives don’t add up. Void Archives is a Divine Key made from the Herrscher of Reason, therefore, there should be no other variations of him in HSR other than himself. And even if there was, they wouldn’t have the appearance of Otto Apocalypse because they’d need to have one of his Soulium bodies, and that technology hasn’t been seen in HSR. There’s also the hair style and the timing of welt and VA’s arrival in the star rail universe.
Parallel realities (which HI3 and Star Rail are) often have not just variants of the same people, but also similar events and other concepts. For example. The Herrschers DO exist in Star Rail, but they are ancient concepts forged into swords, all of which are now contained in Acheron's blade. So if there is a Void Archives variant in star rail, it would have to take a different form. Maybe one of the cornerstones (Aventurine's abilities are similar in some ways) or maybe it's something that'll be created by Ruan Mei since the divine keys in HI3 were made by "Dr. Mei" idk yet.
But yeah, the timeline is wrong, and I'm working on a sort of "flash theory" video that'll explain my thoughts on that. :)

Fantastic theory! And, honestly, I love your delivery of your topics, epiphanies, and evidence. It will be interesting to see what happens next. But, if Elio (spelling?) is trying to derail the swarm, that may very well be why he put the trailblazer where he did--and why they pushed for the Express to become as involved as they did on the Luofu. It allows the Luofu to call on them again as allies and help counter the subterfuge. Also, I've been curious for a while why the Trailblazer lost their memories. Sure, it could be the process they went through in order to hold and harness the power of a stelleron just did that to them; however, for someone to be able to see new pathways, they have to be unhindered by old bias. Or, at least when I'm writing my stories, I try to have depth to the reasoning a character would lose something like that.
We don't yet really know what's going on with Elio. We know the Trailblazer will be facing off against an Aeon at some point, but Elio's actual plan and the pieces he's trying to move into place are all fairly fluid still. We'll find out. I like the theory that the Trailblazer is an amnesiac Elio, but I don't have enough evidence to support it yet.
it's an interesting theory! however: in the adventure mission, he states he's "registered" with the ipc and then he also states he's "registered" with another xianzhou alliance ship. i feel like to say he IS part of the ipc is reaching a little, because then he would be part of the xianzhou alliance as well-- it seems like he's kind of like an independent contractor who does business with multiple factions.
also: luocha is a variant of otto apocalypse, who welt also has history with, but he is not the void archives, as far as we've been shown. the void archives are a separate entity. it's possible the void archives are part of the ipc, but if luocha were the void archives themselves, i believe welt would be far more vocal about raising the alarm given that the void archives kidnapped him from the hi3rd universe. plus, it's implied that the "blond traveler" woke up march, isn't it? if that's the case, why doesn't she recognize luocha right away?
See, here's the thing - I know he's technically just "registered" but given that he's playing RIGHT into the IPC's Plan and following the same pattern as the other stonehearts, I still count it.
I'm pretty sure Luocha is VA - the way they've been framing Welt's past with void in the readables and such. I wrote about this at 27:40 in the video - trying to pull variants into the picture starts to overcomplicate things at least in my opinion. No matter which way I looked at it, things started to just overlap in strange ways or become tangled up. I'm not sure why March wouldn't recognize him. Maybe he preferred to wear the mask until leaving the express?

That seems to be different to me from "I recognize him *as* Otto or the VA". Him mentioning that there are variants seems to suggest that he believes Luocha is a third Otto copy-- I don't think he'd likely forget the entity that kidnapped him, and I can't think of an in-character reason that he'd keep Luocha's identity from the others if he did think it was the VA.
Ah, I forgot about that line. I'd assumed that having more than two of the same character (which is required in this case - there's either like...1 of them or there's 3+) felt less likely to me than them all being the same, but if Mr. Yang is saying he knows of two others, then that actually flips the script. the ipc *knew* how to use the ipc-xianzhou agreement to their advantage
the xianzhou will most likely have conflict with a potential revived ting yuan(or at least her revived consciousness) giving the ipc yet another avenue
tbh luocha doesn't give me oswaldo or diamond vibes but why else would he have propagation bits in his coffin if he were just a merchant? it makes sense but i currently don't vibe with it
also im currently wondering if the destruction's gonna partner up with the propagation cos there's no way making the propagation a 'good thing' is gonna end up good and we have yet to learn how the destruction's gonna potentially wreck the universe. we also have ruan mei and the levaithan bits to worry about

That doesn't really explain the Gold Hand connection. And without that, we don't have a reason to connect VA/Otto to Diamond at all. And also it leaves Luocha out of the picture.
It just overcomplicates things no matter what way I look at it. I really hope and want the Otto Variant to be here at some point in the story, but with the characters and information we have at the moment, it doesn't fit cleanly without making more assumptions than I'm currently comfortable with :/
@iamemamae It does leave out Luocha but (I don't fully know what happened to Otto Apoclaypse in HI3) But Luocha has more similarities with Otto Apocalypse from the Shattered Swords Visual Novel where he carries a coffin, goes by the nane "Raksha" and meets Sushang. OofieTVs video on "Who is the Raksha" shows the similarities even though she disagrees with me. I haven't seen much interaction with Luocha and Sushang in HSR yet he has voice lines about her. And he seems to have lines about people he is intertwined with like Jing Yuan and Jingliu.
What if Luocha IS HI3 Otto Apocalypse
Diamond is HSR Otto Apocalypse
And Oswaldo is Void Archives
It could explain Luochas last character story line.

If the coffin does contain parts of the Swarm, and he was given it and ordered to do something, Luocha cant be the leader of the IPC as that would mean there's someone above him pulling the strings.
If it was Diamond Luochas working for and both are aware they are alternate universe counterparts... Diamond might be the one employing Luocha for what Diamond thinks is a shared goal between them.
Luocha also actually doesn't have a Gold right hand as in his E6 picture, his right hand is DELIBERATELY shown as normal and human.
I like the possibility of 2 alternate versions with the same trauma working together but actually both have different perspectives and one teaches the other how to move on.
I can't explain how HI3 Otto got to HSR. Also if VA was Oswaldo travelling with Welt on the Express, how did he cause the genocide on Signoia VI when Adventurine was a child? Oswaldo was already a main IPC player at the time

A fairly overlooked f2p lightcone for him is Texture of Memories, the 5* herta shop lightcone. My reasoning is; it gives you ERS, which lessens the ERS substats needed for Broken Keel or just in general giving more leeway in the subs for other stats; since he will be getting hit the most with his taunt values, his shield will probably run out and when that happens the passive shield will help his survability until he can ult again (it does scale on hp, but he already has the 3rd highest base hp in the game and you'll probs have a good amount for an ok shield); and at max ranks it will give him another 24% DMG reduction innately when he does have shields. I will say though that this lightcone would work better with a well invested Gepard since the passive shield is something you can't completely and consistently rely on since it has a 3 turn cooldown and it doesn't do anything to increase his team wide shields (like Def etc.) since it's mostly about increasing his potential survivability and sustain in the way of tanking. Whilst there are better herta lightcones to get, considering the only other truly f2p options are not really that good for him. "We are Wildfire" is fine for exploration, but for lategame/harder content it's only really good for high damage dps teams since it's value is lost in drawn out battles. And "Destiny's Threads Forewoven" is a damage focused lightcone, which isn't good for Geppy.

I saw a theory where they pointed out Ruan Mei's involvement. What if Ruan Mei was the one that provided Loucha with fragments of Tayzzyronth afterall she was conducting experiments to resurrect the emanator of propagation. Jingliu was working with Loucha because Ruan Mei introduced them and the person who Jingliu said can cure her mara was Ruan Mei. It was briefly hinted at that Ruan Mei had resurrected Tingyun and was on her way to Xianzhou Loufu at the end of 2.5 so what if the person whose going to use remainings of Tayzzyronth to kill Yaoshi is Ruan Mei? And the reason why Loucha and Jingliu surrendered for planting the stelleron even tho they didn't was to have a meeting with the marshal and propose their god killing protocol so that Ruan Mei could be invited to the Loufu and freely conduct experiments.
When I heard this, I tried connecting your theory and this theory and it raises even more questions but I know one thing if we have Sunday, Loucha, Jingliu, Tingyun's resurrected form and Ruan Mei in 2.7 it is going to be CRAZY
That definitely makes sense, but where did Ruan Mei get them? It makes sense that she would just kinda have them (and also she has Himeko get her things in the express all the time), but Ruan Mei also has ties to the IPC. So it could be the other way around - She wants Tayzzyronth's fragments from Luocha for her experiments.

This theory blew my mind, I'm a casual player who likes deep lore but doesn't know much about it, but these types of theories are very fun to see.
In fact the reason I started HSR is because I like sci-fi, and the reason I stayed is because the idea that there are cosmic gods who are not made of flesh and blood, but are beyond understanding, with their ethereal forms, seemed incredible to me, and super curious.
I mean, are you telling me that a near-omnipotent being shoots star comets like they were simple arrows? And that there are more of them that each have their own path?
That's why I love Star Rail, this lore is too interesting (Obviously also for its characters).
Same though - the Aeons are so fascinating.
Loucha being dimond is kinda hard to swallow i kinda doubt that hoyo would realease one of the most important character of the story in secret i think they would make a big deal when releasing dimond like they did with acheron

Void Archives is a Divine Key - a weapon made from a Herrscher Core (Herrschers are like super Gods in hi3 that are on the same level or above Aeons and the source of their powers are Cores which you could say are like a Gnosis from Genshin). Welt's cane which creates black holes is also a Divine Key made from the core of the 9th Herrscher - the Herrscher of Stars. Void Archives is made from the core of 1st Herrscher, the Herrscher of Reason. Now there's several Herrschers in every era and new Cores appear; Welt himself is a Herrscher of Reason of the current era.
Anyway, Void Archives is sentient because the authority of Reason houses every single piece of knowledge in the universe, hence his name being Void Archives. Void took over the body of one of Otto Apocalypse's clones, and Luocha is a variant of Otto. Welt and Void team up after discovering a threat that is targeting several universes and they travel together to HSR's world where Himeko saves them after their ship broke down. As for why does he matter.... Void Archives is fucking dangerous and he's loose in the HSR world 💀

This theory is interesting as hell. To add on, tazzy was defeated by quiloth and was sealed somewhere. Would quiloth trust his emanators to protect the sealed aeon? Herta in the simulated universe said the "tazzy may eventually resurface". To add to this fu xuan in her writing called "glimpse into the beyond" a scholer showed her a piece of the amber that's was part of tazzy prison cell and that fu xuan could not see the future of the item. Also may not be important but the color of the amber was yellow 😬
My previous theory is about the Propagation and I touch on these things - I HIGHLY suggest you go check it out cause it very much plays into this theory.

I don't, Diamond sound absolutely nothing like VA even indirectly, VA is the type that has always used others, while Diamond gives people independence and even lets them speak for him. There's also no way VA of all people becomes an emanator
There is another possibility on Luocha, but I decided against it for this theory - I wrote a big long text slide at 27:40 explaining it.
Eh I disagree, but here's the thing - he doesn't have to be an emanator at all. He can replicate others abilities, so as long as he's able to do a big ol' study sesh to understand them.

In all honesty, I'm kind of mixed about this conclusion-- _I say as someone who reached this same answer a months ago._
Well, to be precise, there's 2 answers I reached ages ago, both of which I'm VERY conflicted about, and so I keep going back and forth between them, but this video helped me clear up a lot of the fog around both of the theories I had, and has now pushed me into investigating a potential link between Void Archive, Intellitrons, and Rupert the Emperor.

21 minutes in and before continuing futher may i suggest an idea/theory using his ultimate line and a trailer (aventurines trial) "the dead return" what if luocha is the stoneheart who might be dead and the remnant of the propagation ij his coffin is his breaking Cornerstone and hes partially in the godbreaker aliance to Have Ruan Mei Rip the propagation out of the cornerstone and by intertwining it with the abudance maybe even neutralising that fragments Presence wuthin the path of propagation
If he is truly a loyal stone heart loyal to preservation then his task could be to find a way to prevent his cornerstones seal from breaking and has been told to not contact the IPC and to take any means necessary to prevent the aeal from beinf broken and luocha is taking that to mean remove the thing trying to break the seal which also if successful might reveal something terrifying like what id the corner stones were Only running a 1% output as the tangible power the stonehearts can tap into Because 99% of it is going to preserving the seal on the propagation fragments they contain

Why that much interest in the Amber Lord. Because it preserves something that would fade away otherwise…like an insect or a person. One of Kallens Clones Otto produced is also named Amber for that reason. Well…I’m sold they are the same person.

The IPC do actually have a stronger foothold on one of the other ships. In the Aurum Alley event, Sushung notes how the IPC have a strong cultural hold on the Xianzhou Yaoqing.
Wild theory, if what little we have on regarding the ten stoneheart Agate suggesting they are leaning toward a Xianzhou based stoneheart I suspect them to be based in this stronghold within the Alliance. I somewhat think jokingly Skott is one their underlings they enjoy throwing into failure after failuere for their sadistic plesure.
Wouldn't surprise me on the Skott bit XD I swear they love making that man squirm.
While I don't think Luocha is Void Archives, I could believe a theory where we spin this around for Luocha to have been Diamond for a long time and Void Archives to have come into the picture later on. This entire scheme could have begun once the two of them met, but as it stands the time between the events of the game and Void Archives leaving the express can't have been long enough for him to get to the position Diamond is in.

thing is, on Luocha's dialogue on the express suggests that he and Welt have spoke on his visits. And Welts dialogue only suggests his suspicious of Luocha.
I think it's more likely Luocha is this universe's version of Otto. like Himiko and Acheron is this universe of Himiko and Mei. BUT that doesn't mean he isn't like otto. I've seen theories out there to suggest that Luocha is immortal. Also he doesn't have a rating gun rating so whats up with that.
but I think it's more likey if we follow your ideas:
Luocha is diamond, doing otto like things because he is this universe of otto. -> void archives comes to this universe. Maybe becomes oswaldo. (two people being the same person). -> he works with Luocha on whatever his plan is.
Void archives is not otto tho.

i think for the ipc only the stone hearts follow the preservation. if you look at how jade behaves with deals and the ipc you can see that hers is actually fair and equal as she even rejects firefly's offer since she has nothing to have. even so diamond seems to want the boards attention and even be amongst so what if diamond knows the IPC are actually following propagation or the voracity and the stonehearts are the only presevation members it would support why the stonehearts are strict in recruitment
Here's the thing - even within the stonehearts, there are followers of MULTIPLE aeons represented. Sugilite seems to follow Oroboros, we have someone who appears to be a memokeeper judging by some of the motifs around her (Obsidian), Jade is erudition, Topaz is hunt. I have a theory about that too, but that's for another day.
@@iamemamae true plus sapphire if you look seems to be a former knight of beauty or a part of it as like what argenti said but topaz and jade don't follow the hunt or erudition but just align with them (jade is cunning while topaz pursues her ow justice with the IPC) similar to jiaoqiu and nihilitty. i think for the ouroboros symbol it might relate to what corner stone power sugulite which might be long life. also an interesting thing but people say obsidian might be related to that one space vampire mentioned in the xianzhou

@@iamemamae i think what diamond's goal is on how paths survive or an insurance to keep some paths alive. as an emanator of the qlipoth technically diamond should be neutral and his goal would be to preserve the universe, in theory what if the stone hearts are his answer. each member representing a a path that even with the aeons dead or merged, a sure way for the paths to live on. another theory is that diamond might just see this as the best way to follow qlipoth, rather than a group all having the traits of preservation, them all having traits of other paths

re: Luocha There's a few things I wanted to mention regarding Luocha that I think were misunderstood/misinterpreted when creating this theory. It's an interesting theory, nonetheless.
1) he's registered with both the IPC and the Xianzhou Alliance as a merchant. This doesn't necessarily mean he works for them. He's an independent merchant registered with a government body to conduct business. It's a normal thing for businesses and merchants, to need a business license, which is essentially what he has.
2) we know what planet Luocha's from. He's from the Purity Palace, which likely followed Ena. His E2 in CN is titled "bestowal from purity palace," and the boots for the purity palace relic set are inscribed with "Order" on the heel, so I really doubt he's Void Archives...
3) Welt's flashbacks weren't about Luocha, but about Void Archives. And we know they aren't the same person, because Luocha has a dialogue as a visitor on the Express about it. If Welt thought it was Void, why wouldn't that conversation go differently? If any of them actually knew Luocha prior to this, they would have treated him differently when he boarded as a visitor.
4) I feel like this is nitpicking a bit, but Otto didn't imprison Void Archives for 500 years... Otto just made contact with Void 500 years ago and they made a deal (VA would revive Kallen's father in exchange for Otto's life) that ended up not happening. It's more like they were companions for 500 years. With Otto an unwilling host to VA in his head for 500 years lol.

My response to this is basically one I already had when someone else tried connecting VA to Oswoldo. Assuming that this is true, that means Welt has been away from Earth for so many years that VA has time to climb an interstellar corporate ladder, kickstart both Adventurine and Boothill's tragic backstories and play an unknown number of Otto-style conspiracies... and that's just sad for Welt. I also assume that for him to also be Diamond he would require even more years on top. That said though, who is to say that VA doesn't have his own counterpart(or Otto counterpart) out there who is infact Diamond or Oswoldo and he joined up with the guy ? Imagine three to four of them running around and they're not clones...
Speaking of the 'power replicating ability' that's not quite the right way to put it. Void Archives' power is essentially the same as Welt's, they are able to create objects of human technology, provided they know enough about its internal make-up and workings. Void Archives being an ancient AI repository of information from an advanced ancient civilization gives him a massive edge to using this power, despite energy limitations. So for them to mimic any power, that power first needs to be 'tamed' into a product of civilized technology. That said, VA is absolutely capable of doing things we've seen Luocha do because he does in fact know a weapon that allows him to use those powers. The 'Abyss Flower' named in Luocha's skill is in fact also the name of this weapon. This is extra funny when the skill just says 'white flower' in the cn and jp... but the full name of Abyss Flower is actually 'Black Abyss White Flower' because it is made up of two parts; the Black Abyss and the White Flower. So they translated it as 'Abyss Flower' instead of 'White Flower' purely to tell you that this is a reference to that same weapon because most HI3 players only know it as Abyss Flower due to the shortened name.

As for the thing about the human technology - if I remember correctly (and if the wiki is correct...) it can replicate technology cause it was "reformed" using the herrscher of reason, which Welt also was at one point, but it can also mimic the power of the other Divine Keys to a point. The Wiki says it can replicate any power it can understand to a lesser extent. Again it's the wiki so... :/

I don't mean it has to be something made by -Earth humans-, just that iirc the powers has never been used to make something from outside of Earth's civilization yet. The missing piece of information here is that when they say 'understand', something like a 'mental blueprint' for a piece of technology needs to exist before VA or a Herrscher of Reason can replicate or modify it. It's not a simple matter of knowing the principles behind how a gun works. You need to understand the construction of a gun. That's the big limitation. Welt and Bronya are literal tech wizards. This is VA's huge advantage for being an ancient AI computer. He has the 'blueprints' to the other Divine Keys. Welt and Bronya could only construct Star of Eden because Anti-Entropy has done tons of research and experiments with it.
So far only Bronya's broken the limitations by fully bringing the Herrscher core to its true extent, allowing her skip ahead and basically construct unfamiliar things that she knows theoretically could be made but hasn't been made. Since the core was presumably returned to Welt, it might be possible for him too. I'm just waiting for Welt to show that he can do something other than spam Star of Eden or Earth-level hardware in HSR.
