- Back with an update on the build we were doing a while back. It’s been up and ripping for a while now. So enjoy some updates as well as tips and tricks for if you plan on doing a swap such as this!

Yo man I’m almost done with mine! So glad I found ur channel. I have an lq4 in my ‘03 325i sedan, just wondering what suspension do u recommend for both daily & track?
Awesome! glad to help! I used to have a lq4 hahaha. I am running fortune auto 500s 10k and 8k spring rates. i love them but they are a bit pricey. When i do street it i always think to myself "this is a smooth driving drift car". A great alternative is BC coils. Havent really looked into other options. BC and FA are my go tos for builds. Not sure if feal suspension has E46 options.

@@ryanorona I went with the cxracing ls1 engine mounts. Good luck on your build bro! Keep the end goal in mind and keep visualizing that first drive! I’m now finished with mine and it wasn’t easy AT ALL, I wanted to quit sometimes, but damn if it wasn’t worth it! Wish you the very best!

What’s the best way to bypass the immobilizer
Take more time on the build and it wont look as messy and half assed but runs good man props
I just finished rebuilding an LS for my e46 sedan.
Did you use an m3 diff or did you use the fbody diff
using stock auto 3.46 diff welded with solid subframe bushings, poly diff bushings, and nerp tech offset rtabs
What motor mounts and headers you using?
CX racing
Did you swap it out after the BMW motor blew out or something? I have a recently purchased (~277000 kms) E46 and I'm not sure how long it will last, so I might consider this if budget allows
The bmw engine was running fine when pulled. Ended up trading the BMW engine for the tubing to build the roll cage. I already had the LS from a previous drift build and wanted to change the chassis.

Can you use the stock ls harness to wire the micro squirt?
Technically yes. But with lots of cutting and the wiring diagram. Micro/mega you can wire it yourself or there are people that sell harnesses pre done.
How do u only have 88 subs

How much space is between the hood and intake manifold?
Havent measured it. But its nowhere near touching the hood. Cant measure right now due to the engine being out. Easily 2" at the least of clearance with hood closed.
