Random observation - whoever came up with an idea of having bellhousing easily separate from the trans was a genius. This way you can have a large diameter clutch and beefy bellhousing and don’t have to jack the car up to insane height to remove the trans from under the car. I wish more transmissions were like this, especially Audi’s which have very tall transmissions in b8 cars
Love my LSX 325i and I'm sure this thing probably makes way more power than mine. You cant beat american muscle with German handling 🙌

Candle wax on cutting disk when you are cutting threw alloy. Will save you alot of time. Will cut like butter

I had the same problem getting my trans in the bell housing. I found the bell housing slightly changes shape when you bolt it to the engine. Loosen the bell housing to engine bolts off and then the trans should slip into the hole easily. Keep it up mate.

In order to powder coat the chassis you will have to remove all seam sealer.

As long as it meets SFI standards its fine, but I hear you, Every other SFI approved bell housing I've seen being used by the FD guys has been black, not grey. Im sure Micah read the rulebook tho my man

Get rid of the factory steering pump and use an electric steering pump. The factory pump will fail on you within 3 events
