You should film the process if you do. I have a 335 as well, I probably would never LS swap it, but buying a cheap 3 series and making a drag/street car would be really fun. For my 335, I've always wanted to M series motor swap with a supercharger, I think it would make a great combo.

It was fired up on the stock pump but never driven hard on it, he swapped in the radium setup with a single 450, when he went turbo he wired the second pump.

We find ppl have projects come to a halt because they try to do too much at once, don’t drop $10,000 on a built engine, just find one that was running, swap the pan and install it. If you focus on simply completing the swap and worry about upgrades after, you’ll be fine.

I've done a few LS swaps now but never a BMW, going to LS swap my wife's 06 bmw 325xi and Ill be ditching the AWD system and converting to rwd only with the swap but my question is would the mounts from the video work on a XI or will I need XI specific mounts?
All of the support and products Mike offers is based off the Holley system, sure you can use other systems but there will be no support on our end, you’ll need to be knowledgable enough to work through it.
I know I didn’t hear anything about it in the videos or maybe you just forgot to mention, did y’all have to cut/ shave the firewall or the transmission wall?
With the T56 or TR6060 you don’t have to, if you run a 4l80 you’ll need to do some cutting or hammer some clearance into the tunnel mainly for the connector on the trans. So far with the glide it looks like minor massaging so that we have more room for the linkage connection.
We tell everyone to expect around 10-15k in parts and labor depending on engine and trans selection, we are currently doing a E91 wagon with a 6.2 LS3 and T56 that is coming in around $16,500 total.
Unfortunately we don’t mess with the older chassis cars, love them, but we don’t offer any products or support for them currently. Drift HQ is a great source for them.
Mounts will be available very soon, few customers just got their sets for testing, Mike is catching up on the back log of 3 series kits and then he will be finalizing and listed the 5 series.

I doubt it but hope dies last. Also, I understand that if I run the car on 2 ecus I can keep the standard features of the car (air conditioning and stuff), is that right? Thanks!
The simplicity of a full gm drivetrain is a lot of the benefit of this swap. You can check on real oem to see if the subframe is the same and compatible with the mounts.

You’d have to first figure out the laws on swap cars, some states require the chassis to pass, meaning you’d need to piggy back the DME from BMW, others require the drivetrain chassis to pass, so if you use a truck motor you’d need to piggy back the truck pcm for emissions. The Holley swaps have no OBD2 and as we have mentioned a lot, you need to be in a friendly state for inspections.

Did you ever figure this out? I’m assuming you cut pin 41 and take the wire and run it to the brake switch… At least this is the way I understand it

If you build a manual pedal or make stock dbw stuff work, buy a pwm module for making the bmw fan work. Terminator is 100% worth the additional cost.

It depends on which LS you start with, which injectors you are using, and if you need DBW or Transmission controls.

This was a 6.0 truck engine. Any 99-13 gmc truck engine works, 98-02 camaro/trans am, C5 vette engine, C6 vette engine, etc.

Yes we do, either stock with our adapter and a sonax companion flange or swap to an 8.8

The Holley swaps have no OBD2 and as we have mentioned a lot, you need to be in a friendly state for inspections.
