As a man, I have a younger sister and I was shocked to see how nasty women can be to each other. Female bullying is just as bad if not worse than male bullying. The thing I think that helps is parents drilling into kids that their peers shallow opinions of them mean nothing. That the peers around them only get glimpses and assumptions, that these shallow opinions should never be taken seriously.

They see people sadly, many times as what can this person do for me first.
