Ohhhh! Laura is missing in this one. It's lovely to watch solved videos you both do together. It helps a lot with learning about puzzles, riddles and clues.
I just played this one and, while it was really tough, I loved the art of the multiple cats! Would be a great present for puzzle playinf cat owners, hehe
I was annoyed on the bit I missed on this one, since it was nearly a smooth solve for me. :) But yes, the illustrations are really fun, and I think this is overall a good game.
Yes! I didn’t know they were coming until I spotted them on sale. Mind you I asked the publisher earlier this year at a trade show if they had any new Unlock games coming out this year and they said no. :) Helpful!
Notified, click! Thank you for the new video ❤ I didn't know that there is a Schrodinger's Cat unlock short 🤔 Edit: I realized it was only available in french language before after you tell us. Now I'm gonna find the other cards and buy it 😉
I quite enjoyed this one because it wasn't too complex. I think that if you tried to do it as your first-ever one it would be extremely confusing, because the instructions need to be thrown out almost entirely to solve it! Almost none of the cards strictly followed the rules.
The 2 cat machines (telephone and space cat) were really strange and a waste of time. If you failed the space cat, you could never go back even though it was a green machine card. I enjoyed the puzzles, but it really felt disjointed
Yes, I often find with the Unlock games that they feel disjointed, with huge leaps that sometimes convince me that I've made a mistake even when I have taken the correct card! I think they could really benefit from some kind of additional narrative structure that keeps you on the right path, and helps make sense of the progression.
If you mean the one with the cat and the phone pad then I completely agree - it took away half your time without even letting you work out what it was asking you to do. It's really very strange design.
@drgareth Yes, that's the one. I felt most of the puzzles were logical and fun, but early penalties that eat up 5 minutes of time (from a 30 minute timer) frustrate me regardless of how fun the rest of the game is. I appreciated seeing you as baffled by that odd puzzle as I was, BTW!

Fret not - I will return!! Thanks for tuning in :)

@@drgareth you were observant enough to notice the double numbers. I contemplated the 8 and infinity being the same number, haha
Omgosh, the new shorts are out?!

There are now nine in the series - the six they released several months ago and then these three new ones. I ordered mine from zatu.com in the UK.
Cant wait for more content 🙂
Me neither! A book deadline has delayed the video we were going to post this weekend, but it's coming soon! :)
Not available in the US until next month. Going to have save this video and come back and watch it after I had a chance to play it myself
Oh fair enough! I didn’t know that. I had never even heard of it until a few weeks ago when I spotted it for sale online. :)
Not the best unlock short I've seen you do but still enjoyed your video

That early quantum puzzle was NOT my fav. Huge penalty and no real clue was provided for how to solve it.
