I feel like no matter how hard something may seem, speedrunners will always find a way to achieve the impossible. And that, to me, is the beauty of speedrunning.
Everything in this run is insane, its like what people 1 year ago would've called a god run, hypermodern mapless treasure + ravine portal + fastion + 2 eye throw 100% ninja brain, the only thing it's missing is a 0 cycle at the dragon.
I had this stream playing in the background with no audio, barely paying attention. Didn't even realize it was world record until I saw a bunch of people in his world. Also thanks for not turning his sub 8 Speedrun into a 30 minute breakdown, this was nice and simple

I’ve been a part of the gd and mc communities for a while. Crazy that he went prom putting out gd levels at such a quality unmatched by anyone to setting world records in a completely different game. Absolute god gamer
Yea crazy part is that if that were a blaze bed then the blaze couldn’t drop (without being hit like in the run). But since zylenox lit the tnt it counts as player inflicted damage.
The problem is when you have two TNT, any rods produced by the first explosion might get deleted by the second. I think that's why a lot of speedrunners I see using double TNT (happens even more often in AA) will clear out blazes first and light the tnt after.

Replying to what you said at 7:45, this run was the 3rd fastest stronghold enter at 5:50 (1st is Crookst's 5:27, 2nd is Cube's 5:54) and was the fastest end enter ever at 6:14 (2nd is Crookst's 6:27, 3rd is Feinberg's 6:35. At the time it was only the 6th sub-7 end enter.
Zylenox has been the one person I have been rooting for since the beginning. He used to be a very famous and insane player in a game called geometry dash, which he eventually quit. After he quit I saw him doing speedruns and saw him get 2nd and thought, "Whaaaaaaaaaaa....
Dude i used to watch all of this guy's geometry dash videos. He was such a talented crator and now he's such a talented mc player. You can tell the amount of effort he puts into his passions is insane!

I Haven't watched speedrunning in so long. I first started watching around the 13 minute and 12 minute barriers, and stopped about after the 9:36. It's so crazy how far these runners have come, but I guarantee it's going farther.
I'm all for using acronyms for everything, but f & s has the same number of syllables as flint and steel so I'm not sure what using that particular acronym accomplishes.
