I supose this is going to taste fantastic as always , love that mix of ingredients you are using ... Its so easy ( and affordable as well ,at least in my country )..I will be making this chips tomorrow saturday with guacamole hoping my mother in law will apreciate it, otherways I will eat them up just my self and will give her some bread and butter . 🤣. Thanks a lot Mr Fox. Have a lovely summer holidays , you and lucky family...same to all of your suscribers
I just subscribe to your channel. I love lentil bread, I added garlic and a pinch of pink Himalayan salt and chopped spinach and It was a meal with a small amount of Green Hot sauce. Thank you again. I will be sure to add the bananas next time
Hi. I'm SO looking forward to making these chips - but - Can I make them without oil as I'm oil free...Hoping you say yes. Warm wishes from a Scottish girl....
Hi, exactly the same recipe but instead of flour use cooked chickpea, (same weight) you will have to strain the chickpeas and leave to semi dry for about an hour else mix will be too wet and difficult to roll. No water required as the cooked chickpea will be enough and yes if you don't want the yeast just leave it out. Hope that helps
Another way if you not worried about the shape is add 100ml watr and put everything in blender to make it look more like pancake mix (that kind of consistency) then pour a thin layer on a non stick tray and bake 180 for 25 mins (ish) look just befor case its already going brown. can sort of see what I mean on the end of the 5 lentil recipe video, that will show how it looks, more like crisps instead of tortilla shape
good idea. i tried that in the begining too but they still came out too thick for me so used a rolling pin to get them even flatter. Might go back to the tortilla press again for speed tho as now instead of using parchment paper to press I cut up a plastic pastry mat so that might make them thinner so thanks for the reminder
Coconut oil has an exceptionally high level of saturated fat. This means it will significantly add to your cholesterol and as such is unhealthy. Olive oil would be much healthier.
Thanks for the comment...I do sometimes mix it up with olive oil and I agree that coconut oil is heavy on the saturated fat but I let it slide cos there's not too much of it....most of my other cooking recipes are with olive oil or rapseed oil(mostly Indian dishes)
Saturated fats only affect cholesterol when eaten with refined carbs or sugar, or hfc's. The cholesterol gets damaged by sugars and no longer fits the recectors in the liver, so can't be removed from your blood, 70% of my diet is fats half of which are saturated, my cholesterol levels are normal because I use a keto low carb diet.
I've been looking for new recipes with chickpea flour .thank you for video Mr. Fox 🎉

Nutritional yeast is so good for you & has a cheesy flavour which can be substituted for cheese as it does no harm 🥰🌱🐾

I like to roll into little balls, flatten them into disks in a tortilla press, then score them into sixths.

Excellent! But you talk too much.
