Hey, welcome to the FL5 Type R family! I got one in Sonic Grey! I love it! I already have over 360whp its night & day from stock! I had a 2017 FK8 which was amazing as well but the new FL5 is much more improved if you can believe that! Enjoy it!
I own the FL5 CTR but happen to be on a week long FL road trip where we rented a minivan so we could pack all of our stuff. I never really knew it was possible to “miss” a car, but starting about halfway into our beach vacation all I could think of was getting back to my Type R.
I just got an email yesterday from dealer that I should be getting mine sometimes in April and I'm planning a road trip to east coast Canada around the type R.

@@chrissimmons9969 can't wait, I don't know about the colour yet. It's a small dealer and they're only getting one car, I've been waiting for a year already.
@@alichaudhry12 when I bought mine I was just perusing online the inventory of my local dealership. I couldn't believe they had it listed.... I called it was still there and I was able to get it. I've only seen one other FL5 Type R in my city.
@@chrissimmons9969 I do long haul trucking from Ontario to Texas and so far I might have seen only one... The whole time.. The prices people have them listed for are ridiculous

Only disappointing thing about the FL5 is the dealer markups that average 10k around the nation smh 🤦🏻♂️

How does the performance feel compared to the Tesla? Does it still feel quick?
Yea once you are moving it feels very sharp and is about 1,000 pounds lighter so you feel that in the turns

@Gjeebs @6:36 only 200 miles of range! I have a gas car that can go 6000 miles on one tank and I don’t even have to stop! I wouldn’t be able to take that civic anywhere without stopping for fuel so many times. I think I’ll hold off till the range is at least 800 miles.😄

I believe the Type R’s annual production is limited to 18k units per year. Agree that the exhaust note sounds way too wimpy.
