Blender Tutorial - How to Create an Energy Sword

Hello everyone in this tutorial we will learn how to create an energy sword from Halo in Blender! We will first model the sword, create a procedural material and use geometry nodes to create the lightning!

Quick tip: instead of using the eye dropper tool, if you hover over the color you can just ctrl c and ctrl v to another spot

So I've got the electricity running onto a mesh with shape keys and as I'm rendering I'm noticing random stray straight lines showing up at the end of bolts and connecting to another area of the mesh. Solution?

I'm on Blender 4.0 and I can't get the lightning animation to work on the mapping node. neither Manually or with the #frame/130 or any number. Is it different for 4.0 or any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?
