What does ALMA do for therapists and how do they do it?

- In this video, I want to share more about ALMA and how they help therapists in private practice. By the end of the video you will be able to determine if ALMA will be helpful for your practice. A few things to know are they help providers credential with insurance providers, they make claim submission easier, and they seem to be building a practice management solution. Finally, they have curated an online community of therapists that is great for networking.

Thanks, Matthew, this is great. I'm curious, say I panel through Alma and use SP as well. Is it possible to connect/merge information from both, or would clients have to create separate accounts for Alma (billing) and SP (ehr)? Thanks
Correct. The platforms do not integrate.

I was credentialed in October and cancelled in January due to not receiving any referrals whatsoever
Thats so frustrating. I have heard this issue a lot, I think its partly because the directory is becoming more saturated as they grow and expand.
This is exactly my question. How long does it take to get clients through Alma? Did they refund you? I just paid for a yearly subscription up front (at a discount as a new member). My profile just went live last week so I will give it some time, but I'm looking for more information on the average amount of time it takes to get actual clients. Thanks!
@@sunnyday6680 From my understanding they usually wont refund, albeit I have never tried. Additionally, it's hard to say how long it will take as there are many factors such as the number of new therapists saturating the directory, the summer slow down, your specialty, your location, etc.
