How did you manage to tune these stabies? I've received mine and cant tune spacebar no matter what. It keeps ticking and sound profile is not as good as yours. I've used krytox 205g0 on housings and XHT-BDZ on wires.
All I did was a bit of 205g0 on both housing and wire. Also make sure you are using a gmk spacebar and that its completely flat. Even a slightly warped spacebar can mess up staebies.
Try some Swagkeys Knight stabs. Changed my life. They sound so much better than everything else I've tried and you need almost no lube. As long as the wires are balanced they're close to perfect.
Ordered a set, and they're really easy to tune, but suffer from the same issues as TX. I would not recommend them because the stem bottoms out on the pcb, making them sound terrible and feel mushy.
What's your take on just durock v2s or the new v3s if you have those yet? I watched your other vid on why you prefer clip ins and was just wondering your thoughts on durocks.
i just got TX AP clip in rev. 4 on my Neo65, i'd say that as long as you don't get the long pole version, it won't bottom out before the switch. i also tried it with full travel switches, and it's still fine.
From my experience, staebies have almost zero rattling and ticking. Cherry stabs come in second. Tx, on the other hand…jesus Christ idk what’s up with them.
From my untrained ears, tx sounds the worst in this video due to high pitched/rattling or something. I personally like the sound of cherry the most then staebies. So IMO cherry > staebies > tx based on this video. However from another video, I found TX to sound the best especially when compared to staebies by "Nextrift" who did a comparison called "Stabilizer Showdown! | TX vs Staebies vs Durock V2"...
I’m kinda new to this stuff, what do the different wires mean? I thought it was just stabilizers, I didn’t know you could choose the type of wire it came with.

have you tried tuning with geon tweak boards?
@@shentobento1079 did not know this. mained a bad batch of Oreo OSAs with super warped spacebars and wondered how my stabilizers were getting so bad
Have you tried the Typeplus x YiKB stabilizers?

What lube did you use for the wires? I recently ordered some but haven’t gotten to using them yet.
@@thefeel2261 205g0, didnt need anything else.

@@shentobento1079it's a problem because it's a long pole.
Which wire did you use for the Cherry clip-ins?

What stabilizer wire ur using with your cherry stabs
Do staebies have the TX AP issue you mentioned in another video, where the stab bottoms out before the switch?

can you sound test stab Stabies vs Cherry (2u and 7u) in One kit, thk

Its because he is using tx ap stabs which are inherently bad compared to tx stabs
Never had any problem with Stabies ever but these cheap cherry clip ins look good for the price lol.
Cherry clip-ins + C3 wires. no need to put 20$ in stabs.
just let them man
You don't even need C3 wires tbh, just buy few more and cherry pick it.

@@anrzuzu basically you buy 2 types of stabilizers and switch the wires. unless they sell the wires separately, you can buy 1 stabs and 1 wire
@@anrzuzu different manufacturing tolerances. C3 wires are probably a little thicker than cherry wires. Tighter fit = less rattle.
