i am old enough to eat the chicken stew fresh and no it didn't have cheese in them, it was my favorite mre as we dubbed it the chicken ala king meal, my father was a soldier and everytime he went on a mission he came back with a case of mre's and that was a treat for us.

I dont mind the white mouldy coffee, It doesn't spoil the ration too much. I have another brown bag to review in the next few days. A 1985 menu 3 Beef Patty, from the Southern Packaging and Storage Co Inc, Mullins SC. I'm looking forward to it, but not the cheese.

Well i hate that that MRE didn't fare better , it was a great combination of items , one that i would have looked forward to having but it needed tabasco !! Love your work !!!!
