Love this dry rub so much I made it in a large quantity and put it in some seasoning bottles so I don’t have to mix the rub every time I want this steak. So good!

If you or someone you know lives in a dormitory, I highly recommend investing in an air fryer (your choice of brand). They're fantastic for military personnel and students as the dining facility isn't open at odd hours. Also, they may not serve meals that fit your diet. They're fast, safe, and healthy.

The air fryer does it well, but you don't need all that extra seasoning. I did a new york strip with salt pepper and garlic powder. put a little olive oil on it and set the air fryer to 375 F to 400 F and leave it for about 6-7 minutes. My new york strip was about an inch thick.

What if you want a well done steak instead of one that still has the hoof on it?

just made this, it was tasty but pretty salty because of the soy sauce definitely opt for low sodium soy sauce next time!!

Good looking steak mate but too much seasoning. All you need is salt and pepper rubbed all over and sides (garlic powder if you like) and throw it in. Thanks for the video!

For steaks, I really see no improvement using an Air Fryer over a traditional method (pan searing, grilling, etc...) There's no savings in prep time or even cooking time. Clean-up might be a bit easier, but for me, nothing beats pan searing with lots of butter and herbs. Nice video.

What is a Scotch filet--like a sirloin? I only use prime ribeyes and Filet Mignon, since I seldom eat red meat.

Scotch = rib eye. Geographically different terms.

Would that be the same as a boneless ribeye here in the US? Never heard it called that but thats what it looks like. Getting an air fryer for the holidays, definitely trying the out first! great video!

I cooked it in air fryer for 10 minutes. Then I charred the steak over open flame on my kitchen stove. I wonder if different air fryer give the same or different result?
