For anyone thinking to buy a HP laptop, just don't, it's not worth the stress and effort to keep it maintainted and working somewhat functional. As a HP laptop user over the last 5 years I have spent literally WEEKS(real-time) of my time searching TH-cam and forums to fix the problems I have encountered. The incompatabilities with HP laptops and Windows 10 is insane. Every Windows 10 update, more or less, causes some problem with my laptop, whether that be the laptop gets stuck in boot loops after an update(causing me to have to reinstall Windows from a USB), graphics card issues(causing the laptop to freeze every couple of seconds), sound card and audio quality problems. Not to mention they are incredibly slow and frustrating to use. It's been an absolute nightmare. I'm now at the point now after another Windows update and stuck in boot loop for the 4th time(and finally because I'm throwing the laptop away) where I can't even reinstall Windows off a USB or DVD as a new install for whatever BIOS/system reason, computer says no. It gets to a point where you can't be bothered to try and fix it anymore, why should you? I paid for a product and all it caused was problem after problem with no support, and not being technically knowlegable with computers it gets exhausting.

I am so close to ripping my hair out in stress as I cannot afford any other parts or another laptop.

Hi, i followed the steps in your video. They helped a lot and when I changed the legacy settings from enabled to disabled, my PC didn't freeze or anything and i was able to access my desktop. I realized the laptop was very slow so i decided to close any unnecessary programs running in the background. Some didn't close fully so i disabled the services from task manager. I also changed the power plan to HP recommended which varies the power depending on hardware ( i think). Other than that i did not do anything else. The laptop worked fine for the rest of the night but the next day after i turned it on i opened the Microsoft store and the laptop froze. I decided to restart but it just keeps freezing . I am able to move the cursor but other than that i cannot do anything. ctrl + alt + delete wont work either . is there anything that i can do to fix this?
So, after I'm gonna enable the legacy support, it says "changing this setting may make the system unable to boot the OS. Do u want to make this change? " And I heard u say restart it, but what exactly does happen if the setting is unable to boot the OS
I recently tried swapping Hard Drives in my laptop and immediately when I did that my laptop no longer boots into windows, just goes right to Automatic repair and finds nothing. Same thing happens when I put my original hard drive back in. Ran Hard Disk checks and my laptop passes them every time. So I went into the Boot Order in the BIOS and I don’t see anything regarding UEFI or Legacy

Then a blue screen saying my PC run into a problem and needs to start... I left it for a few minutes but it never actually re-started, the blue screen stayed on. I switched it off and then back on again; HP logo comes up, then "Preparing Automatic Repair" for a minute or so and then the screen goes black and nothing happens. I followed your instructions from this video (kept pressing ESC) but after I pres F2, I get a message: "Version 7.6.2.0 Your current version of diagnostics is not up to date, please go to www.hp.com/go/techcenter/PCDiags to update your diagnostics. I see the ACER logo only a very short period of time, and the computer stays dimly lit. Any suggestions on how to get into the boot menu (or whatever it is called) anyway? Thank you for this video! I tried everything and none of these worked, so I went to re-install windows 10. I booted from a USB flash drive, and the computer does the exact same thing except with windows logo....then after a white, it powers down and goes back to the same boot loop as before. It says all of the hardware is good, but I still suspect bad hardware. Can a bad RAM card cause this?
Not usually. The diagnostic scan said the hard drive was good?

@@vishnudev8537 The other possible solutions are found in this video. However, if the problem is that your operating system has become corrupt and will no longer function, then the only solution is to reinstall it. That video link I sent you shows how to install Win10 for free :) And if you would like to save your data, you can try hooking your hard drive up to another working computer via external hard drive link. @@PC_Monkey Nah it's fine I fixed it it was on boot loop, but i decided to just reinstall windows 10
I am able to move the cursor but other than that i cannot do anything. ctrl + alt + delete wont work either . is there anything that i can do to fix this?
just downloaded windows 10 again to fix it
So, after I'm gonna enable the legacy support, it says "changing this setting may make the system unable to boot the OS.

If your hard drive passed the testing, you may need to reinstall the operating system as shown here; th-cam.com/video/p_N_xV7j_Xo/w-d-xo.html
My laptop freeze when im watching youtube. And some weird sound out from the laptop. What should i do??

2 weeks old? Should still be under warranty :) Use the steps in this video to see if an error of some kind is causing it; th-cam.com/video/Nqn8-jJFx2Y/w-d-xo.html
The same thing happened to me! I bought a restored HP laptop, turned it on, Cortana was on and took me through the initial setup process. I managed to log into my Google account and started watching a video on youtube when it suddenly froze and was making a weird sound. But I'm unable to do that because the laptop won't switch on 🙁

Thanks for all the very clear videos on your channel. Sadly, I haven't been able to solve my issue. I have an ACER Travelmate p258 and I have tried hitting all the possible button/button combinations (according to different computer websites) to get into the boot menu or the bios setup, but I can't get it to work. I see the ACER logo only a very short period of time, and the computer stays dimly lit. Any suggestions on how to get into the boot menu (or whatever it is called) anyway?
