After typing "chkdsk /f c:" it is showing "the type of the file system is RAW.
CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives" what should I do?

Does system repair wipe out my files and folders? Or, does everything stay intact? Also, if I remove my storage drive from my laptop (which does not contain the OS) my laptop will not boot. What gives? Could the boot system be in my storage hard drive? Let me know if you ever heard of this. Thanks.

None of these have worked for me. I upgraded to windows 11 yesterday and I regret it. I couldn't activate it nor could I download the latest updates and drivers. I used the troubleshooting option on windows to restore windows 11 without losing my data. After it went trough the process I got the blue screen of death. I can't even load into safe mode. I have tried every option. My drives are not corrupt and are working fine. I checked via cmd. What else can I do other than re installing windows 11 completely, which will cause me to lose my data?

@@theeps2000 I made a USB drive with Windows 11. I booted up via USB and reinstalled Windows. I went for the custom option and was able to keep my old files in a folder called Windows.old. this way I could keep my files. This was my only option and everything is working again. Good luck!

i tried all of these commands but what really worked after a day was the advanced option of starting in safe mode and running check dsk while in windows and getting the read only issue but letting it run chk dsk at next start up. more importantly. I prayed and laid hands on my computer and did not give up . I also downloaded the latest driver for my computer from the hp website for my network adapter . thank God. it worked

So what’s the move if it’s telling you your admin password is wrong? I can’t do anything with logging in, even though I’m entering the correct password. You also can’t do forgot password, because it just restarts the computer.

I’m trying #1 as we speak. My Lenovo laptop(2yrs. old) started getting all these vertical lines running through the entire screen. Every time I would restart with the power button something different would happen. This morning I got the recovery prompts which I wasn’t getting last night. Ok, it didn’t work. It said I could choose a different recovery date. We’ll see.

I finally just gave up at 1:30 in the morning after repeated attempts to end the blue screen of death loop.
What I'm more worried about is that I had a USB in when it crashed. I couldn't get to the home screen to properly pull it out, so I just pulled it out.
I pray to God that nothing was deleted or messed up on my USB...
That's something that'll make me punch a hole through concrete before jumping off my roof.
If anyone knows whether or not my USB should be fine, can you please let me know? I'll deeply appreciate it...

Hey everyone, i just got mine working and wanted to let everyone know what i did. I learned from somewhere that you need to hold left shift while
restarting to get to more options, after that i went to system restore and there were restore points whereas previously it wasn’t working. my first restore point didn’t work so i chose another and it did work. i hope everyone can try this and get it working (i also did the command prompt commands listed in these videos just for safe measure and they also worked whereas they didn’t before) so basically i’m telling you to do the left shift restart thing before trying anything of this

So the main drive isn't starting (wrong files) and the second one is missing those files

I like some of the transitions, but sometimes they're a bit too much and are seemingly random. Since we use these persistent elements that transition across pages to indicate some kind of relationship between the previous and the next states, some of your transitions confuse me because I can't immediately see what the relationship is.
For example 2:23 of the selectable tiles (which weren't selected) transition into being two switches... does that mean anything? are they related in some way? I see this as random and a bad use of the design language. However, at 1:14 I like the transition from switches to the ticks on a paper, that makes sense to me. Epic presentation tho
Thank you sir. Your video partially helped me and sent me in the right direction to fix my problem. I had accidentally forced an update on my laptop with Windows 11 and for whatever reason it was corrupted when it rebooted. Following your steps I began working through the command prompt and fixing errors. The issue was the sfc scan now command did not work. Gave me the Windows resource protection error. So I went on a search and found a command on Tom's Guide and begin using this command chkdsk c: /r then I was able to rerun the scan now command sfc /scannow. Both commands fixed errors. When I hit continue after exiting the command prompt it went back into my windows 11 machine, I didn't have to do the next option which was going into safe mode. The machine is 2 years old. This was the first time I had these errors.
