Vince in 1997: " Bret screwed Bret!"
Bret in 2024: "Vince screwed Vince!"

*Bill Goldberg
"I can't believe Vince did that, it's horrible oh and btw F Goldberg" - Bret Hart
Idk why Bret always made fun of him all the time. Goldberg apologized so many times over it. He feels really bad even after all these years. Bret should just let it go and move on. Goldberg has never said a bad thing about anybody else.
@@mrnicemam8523 Also, Bret was just as much at fault.
They call Bret “bitter” but they’ve never called him a liar. The man shoots straight from the hip whether it’s about himself, his family, friends or foes. We need more men like Bret that speak up & stand up.

Bret never sugarcoats anything. He has been brutally honest about his own family calling Martha a bitter woman, saying Bulldog was doped out of his mind during their SummerSlam match and he had to carry him through the whole match and even Owen, he has stated on Austin’s podcast how disappointed/upset he was that Owen never apologized to Steve for breaking his neck.

Bret is always right
Bret knew
Vince is a Pathological Narcissist. Vince's arrogance is what did him in. He truly believed that he was so rich and powerful that he would never get caught. He didn't bother hiding it because he didn't think that anything would ever happen. He was not afraid of getting caught.

Yeah. But what if the other consenting person is into it?
On Brian lauding Bret’s candour:
A lot of people seem to forget that Bret has had his fair share of strokes, which - in part - can cause him to come across somewhat more emotional, more blunt than he otherwise might be on occasion.
Some people interpret that bluntness as “Bret is always whining” or “Bret is just bitter”.
Other people see it in a more positive light, like he’s a real straight-shooter and isn’t afraid to speak the truth.
For the most part, I think given everything he’s been through, he’s about as “good” a man as you could hope to find in the wrestling business from his era. But let’s not forget that his post-stroke demeanour is to some degree outside of his control.
bret is a honest man
One of the big problems with Brett is he isn't willing to admit that he fucked up at various points. He blames people for things where he had responsibility to make decisions to protect himself. Where his choices are a big part of the cause of his issues.
The fact he chose to go into the ring injured badly is a big part of the reason he got hurt and he needs to own that. He won't instead he keeps blaming other people.
Good on Jim for dismissing those stupid rumors about HBK.

Talking about Flair again .
"I figured Vince had too much at stake to ever do something like that." If time has taught us anything, it's that this seemingly reasonable point of view is actually the complete opposite of what usually happens. If anything, it seems like the more someone has to lose, they less likely they are to lose it. Time after time extremely wealthy, powerful people do inconceivably stupid things because they believe they are untouchable. Which, in many cases, they are.
