- COUPLE GOALS! 😍😍😍
We absolutely loooooved this episode! 😭 Bill and Frank stole our hearts and we really enjoyed watching their love story, it was SO LOVELY! 😍
We are just so happy that they could have the ending they wanted, it was very emotional and incredibly sad 💔 but sweet at the same time, we are glad this show included an episode like this one on the list 😌 It was good to see true love in this context 😊
Thank you so much for watching, we hope you enjoy it and have a great day, love you! 💝 - บันเทิง

I get the feeling that this episode raised the bar for television forever. Great reaction as well!
We feel the same way, it was so perfect.
Thank you ❤️
This is probably the best episode of TV I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot. I'm old 😂
Bill knew how to Survive, Frank knew how to Live. Thank you HBO & Naughty Dog for the best love story we didn't know we needed. Frank had ALS according to show runners. Don't forget the tissues. #SideWithLove
Omg that's the perfect way of describing their dynamic! Thanks, we'll have the tissues at hand's reach 😅
I have watched like 50 reactions of this episode, it's just perfection. They can make you care so much in like 40 minutes.
So true!! They had us hooked so much and so deeply and it wasn't even the main story!
The flowers near the end...it's even sweeter when you think that Frank probably hadn't been able to do the gardening for years at that point. Bill kept doing it because he knew how much it meant to Frank. It's so easily overlooked (as the entire last day is basically Bill's dedication to Frank), but it shows that Bill has been THAT dedicated for so long.
Omg you're right! That's so adorable 🤧
Of all the endings one can have in a post-apocalyptic world, it's about as good an ending as you can get.
Totally agree!
This episode was so well done and super emotional
We loved it! It totally raised the bar for us.
After the first episode, I wasn't surprised this show would make me cry again.
I was very surprised that this story would be coming up in a zombie show. And I get emotional every time I see it.
You're right! We were not expecting it at all. It was a lovely pause on all the madness from the outside world. To have such a romantic happy ending in a story like this is gold.
Bill grew and killed his own food, and didn't seem to rely on packaged foods, which is how he avoided infection.
Ohhh that makes sense!
LOL, randomly browsing TH-cam while my daughter is getting ready to see her friends, and here I am catching a premiere live. To THIS episode of all things. Thanks!
Thank you so much for being there! We loved chatting with you and discussing your insights about this 🤗
Bill and Frank won the Apocalyse.
They found each other, they lived a life together, and they went out on their own terms.
This episode was much better in the TV show than it was in the game.
That's the perfect way of putting it, they totally won the Apocalypse.
I always see reactors talk a lot about Bill's extended isolation and how extreme it seems...how impossible it seems. I may not live in an apocalyptic world without people, but I have lived in isolation for 5.5 years, mostly due to the side effects of mental illness. I can't speak for everyone...I think it would be different for each person. At some point though, it was easier to be alone than it was to be around people. And it's become so easy that I often feel afraid that I'll eventually die alone because I've made solitude my fortress.
Right, it is totally different for each person. I believe that when you watch it you put yourself in that situation and imagine how it would be for you.
For most people, the loneliness would be excruciating, since humans are historically social beings. But it could be that someone could actually prefer it that way, we are not all the same after all 🤗
In my short 60ish years of living, I've watched some truly excellent TV shows. And in each of these shows, there were episodes that really stood out. Made their mark on me and probably TV history.
This is without a doubt, within my top 5 episodes of any program at any time. Show-writers can learn from this.
So well thought out and executed. If one can create a life long love in such a short time, I give a Shakespeare Salute! Man, Well done.
AND, for you anti-gay folks (feel bad for you though), you have completely missed the mark on this...a love story that isn't about gender, it's about, well, love.
All the best.
Cheers.
Totally agreed!! It was such an amazing and well written story. We felt like it was a movie on its own, and that usually doesn't happen with side stories.
And as you said, it was simply about love. It never questioned if it was right or wrong, it simply was the most natural thing ever and that was beautiful. We're glad we are not the only ones who feel like that.
Thank you for your comments! We really appreciate your engagement 💖
🥂
Great reaction. You really noticed all the little details.
Thanks! We try to pay attention to everything (even though sometimes the most obvious things go over our heads 😅🤭).
32:25 What makes this scene far more beautiful is in this Universe the world ended before the Same Sex Marriage laws were passed. So Bill & Frank are sticking it to The Man one last time.
What's so painful is that same sex marriage started to be legalized, in our timeline, a few months after the point of outbreak in the story.
Edit: Just checked, May 17, 2004. Outbreak happened at the end of September, 2003.
:/
That's crazy!!! We're so happy they did it anyways, because in a society of 2, they made the rules.
I can only repeat myself: this might be a zombie/infected apocalypse, but it's only a stage to tell good human stories.
Absolutely! You can tell it's not about the infected anymore, it's about the people.
They avoided cake, cookies, pancakes, & biscuits, some of which the neighbors definitely ate.
Right!! They avoided that food all day!
The tears that this episode evokes are every bit as contagious as the chordyceps fungus! Wonderful reaction!
Lol you're so right!! Thank you 💖
I knew this episode would touch you guys. Who doesn’t love Love. 🥰 Such a great reaction.
We're softies for love 😭💕 Thank you so much for all you're doing, but we feel like we can't thank you enough ❤️
Frank was maybe the luckiest guy in the entire apocalypse, stumbling upon this completely isolated prepper he was totally compatible with. But Bill was also lucky to have an angel fall from heaven into his dirt pit 😉
They were meant for each other 🤧🤧🤧
One of the best pieces of television to come out in many many years. Keep the tissues handy. Back to the game stuff. This is 1 area where the show improves on the game. You don't really meet Frank in the game just find his body and a letter. The red shirt Ellie finds at the end is the red shirt that Ellie wears in the game. So many people where talking about this episode when first came out.
It was such a fantastic episode! We're glad it also had some easter eggs for the players to find on top of the amazing story.
Absolute masterpiece of an episode:)
Absolutely!!
Truly the best love story I've ever seen.
🥰🥰🥰
Nerdish React, your videos are a work of art
Thank you ❤️ We are glad you enjoy watching
36:35 Yes. There is a jam recipe at the end of the letter :)
That's so adorable 😭
I cried for about three days after watching this episode. Frank has Parkinson’s which is why his brush strokes became shaky in the portrait he was painting. My dad passed away from Parkinson’s and my mom had him in their bedroom till the end and she was there when he wasn’t anymore. This episode was a sucker punch for me. My mom asked if she should watch this series and I told her it might be a little traumatic now but maybe in a few years. She understood and has still yet to see it.
It goes to show how real love stories still exist outside of the screen. That's so sad but so beautiful that she could be there for him. Thank you for sharing
The showrunner has said that Frank has a neuromuscular degenerative disease, like ALS or MS. And based on the symptoms shown that tracks.
Also, their getting married at the end was a big deal for them, because in their world, gay marriage was never legalized, as in reality the Supreme Court decision was made in November, while the world fell apart in late September.
Ohh that totally makes sense! Thank you.
Well, they made their own rules in the end so the law can s*ck it hahaha
So many commenters have said Frank was selfish for askijg Bill to help him die, and that they could never do it for their partner. Im.so glad you didn't say that and that you appreciated the beauty of being abke to have that choice. ❤
We felt it was the perfect way to end their story. We all die at some point, they just decided to do it together because their time was running out. And not telling Bill would have been so awful of Frank, we love the real transparent love they had 💖
You both did great! Especially how it was edited. You got nearly all the great lines, and moments! Excellent!🌿🌸
Thank you!!! We appreciate your kindness and support 💕
was my fave epps as well... still gets me in the feels...
We totally get you, it was fantastic!
“There are some things you need two people for and maybe he wants to something and hasn’t been able to do it.” 😏😂
LOL I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT!!! 😂😂
I will note that 10 miles west of Boston, you don't see mountains like that. (I grew up 20 miles west of Boston) Heh.
Also this episode was weird because I've been to Lincoln (the town Bill and Frank live in) a bunch of times. Weeeird.
Cumberland Farms is a shop chain all throughout the area and, again... weird seeing it. heh
Ohh that's so interesting! It would be kinda weird to see the place you grew up in a movie or TV show, even if its not accurate hehe
15:15. I know for sure, that not talking to anyone, and just mumbling to ones self, definitely can’t compare to actually speaking to someone for any length of time. I have gone on tree jobs where I have to talk to the customer, and I’m horse/ can’t talk, after five minutes!😆🌿🌸
Right! For us, years of being alone would definitely make us go mad.
Thank you for mentioning the character Joel's daughter. Viewers tend to love the character of Ellie so much that they forget about his daughter.
It must be hard for Joel to have Ellie around after loosing Sarah. We just felt like he could get reminded of her with some of the things Ellie says.
@@NerdishReactthis is definitely true. It becomes relevant later in the season.
Great episode!
Thank you ❤️☺️
Este fue mi episodio favorito de la serie, lo triste es que la fecha en la que Bill escribió la carta fue en la fecha de mi cumpleaños 😢
En serio?? Que coincidencia! 🤯
Nick offerman was going to turn down playing bill but his wife read the script and told him to take the role
She's a genius! He played it so well.
@@NerdishReact also they changed bill and Frank in the show they are different in the game in the game bill is alive and Frank is dead the reason why is they got into a fight frank left and got infected and he ended it himself because he did not want to turn.
I kinda understand Ellies interest for the infected. She maybe is wondering why she dont get infected and is afraid that something is still growing inside her -- think that is why she cuts his skin.
Ohhh that makes perfect sense! Maybe that's just to see what's in there, because it's in her too.
Great react 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much 🥰💖
Such a good episode.
Totally!
Nerdish React, cool video bro
Thanks 💞
🧡
🥰
Super, señoritas
Gracias Adrián!! 💖
cheers!
😭😭
Best love story ever😅😅😅😅😅
Totally!!
I find it interesting that Naughty Dog completely rewrote this storyline. It is not what happened in the game. Not even close. And it’s the only real deviation.
Well, they took the best freaking choice ever. That was such a fantastic story, so we're glad they changed it up a bit.
I like your pig. I also dont think it was cancer, it was most likely something like MS or something of that nature which can be a slow and painful death.
Thanks! I gave that to Shuni as a gift and now it's the channel's mascot you could say haha
Right! People mentioned in the comments and it seams to be confirmed by the writers :(
This episode will get hate..fuck them 😢 not fans of tlou..this episode wasn't just utterly breathtanking..it was legit exactly how the game was..or rather was in passing..had you read the journals... Disgusts me folk wanna shit on this.. the greatest episode of tv ever.. for its absolute realisim .. won't ever happen again... Well maybe in tlou season 2... This is why tlou is so special.. it's simply real
So far all the comments we've seen have been great so we are glad it reached it's target audience 🤗
🍓
😋🤤
24:35 Rule #32 (if you know you know.)
More like Romeo & Julio lol
LOL You're right!
one of those episodes that we wish were longer. but this is TV after all, not a movie. does Ellie know how to use a gun? most likely yes. she grew up in a military school.
We felt like this episode was perfect, we even felt like we watched a full movie 😅 It could have been longer, yes, but it was so beautifully written that it was fine for us.
Thanks for commenting!
I learned how to shoot a .22 rifle in High School. The county has varsity and JV rifle team competitions and every J.R.O.T.C. kid was taught to try for their medal for their uniform.
I think they use air rifles now, but in the 90's it was .22.
@@ChibiHoshiDragon interesting, but what does it have to do with Ellie's universe? 👍😊
@@boqndimitrov8693
Because the switchover to air rifles didn't happen until 2007/2008 in my high school.
The game outbreak is set in 2013, so less kids would be used to actual firearms growing up to become parents in 2027 (Ellies' birth year). Society would be less likely, even in the apocalypse, to teach kids to use a firearm until an older age. Even Ellie in the game said she used BB's.
But in the show outbreak is 2003, and so more likely to have parents that grew up with a firearm in school, which would translate into society being more likely to introduce a firearm to a 14-year-old.
@@ChibiHoshiDragon thank you for taking the time to write all this (your opinion on the matter, obviously), but let me tell you a secret - no one reads such long texts.
80s means trouble has double meaning for a gay guy. With the HIV scare from the 80s.
Right!
I think this show missed a chance to explore the ethics of gay relationships at the end of humanity. Tricky thing to write but I think it would have been interesting.
Stfu about the "ethics" of being gay. It's not a fucking choice.
We loved how naturally they treated their relationship and how emotional their marriage was. It wasn't about right or wrong, it just was, and that was beautiful to us 💞
this series will you make you cry will make you angry... not saying which but 1 episode enraged me so much i was actually shaking with anger.. never ever had that before.
We totally understand! Watching this is an emotional rollercoaster.
