Ellie saved the day but at what cost? 😣 That scene was really awful, we wanted her to do it but at the same time hearing Bryan call for his mom so desperately was heartbreaking 💔 Lesson learned... 🙃
Now we are very curious about Henry and Sam and we need them to team up with Joel and Ellie to get out of there safe! 🙏

It's crazy to think in a zombie apocalypse the greatest danger is still humans.
It will always be humans. That’s the real warning in a lot of movies/tv/books no matter the external threat, humans will remain the biggest threat. Which is true. We are also the biggest hope to squash that threat.
Right! Humanity it's such a menace.

A couple of points regarding Joel being snuck up on. Keep in mind that he hadn't slept the night before, because he was standing guard in the woods. Then he got into a life and death struggle, then climbed 33 flights of stairs. He was beyond exhausted. Then, in his sleep he rolled over on to his good ear, which is why Ellie had to raise her voice to wake him up.
Right! Everything is so well thought in this story.
Cinematography in this show is fucking insane.. watching it as someone who was in that world for ages..offt as a fresh spawn.. can see why this show is a hit tbh..its naiked everything.. literally everything

Bella Ramsey had a small but unforgettable role in Game of Thrones -- quite a scene-stealer, despite her very young age (or perhaps because of it, some might say). I've also watched her in the second season of "His Dark Materials". In all 3 roles, you could say she plays a character who is unafraid to fight!
Now that you mentioned it, I totally remember her from GoT!!

Kansas City is, perversely, in Missouri.
You looked quizzical when Ellie told the first pun, so just in case you didn’t get it: it said something like “no matter how hard you push the envelope, it will remain stationery”. “Pushing the envelope” is an expression for going beyond the usual or normal limits by doing something new or dangerous. And of course a physical envelope that you put a letter in could be part of your “stationery”, which is a set of letter-writing paper and matching envelopes, often with your initials or a company logo on them, and other designs, etc. But if you push an envelope, you’d expect it to move, rather than remaining stationary (unmoving). So the pun was on the homophones of stationary/stationery.
If you understood, sorry! I’m very impressed that you clearly got all of the other puns; your English is obviously excellent; puns can be the hardest thing to understand in another language.
This is arguably the slowest episode as it sets up for the best and gives a breather from the first three, so your extreme focus on it really shows how into the show you are! 👍. Looking forward to the rest of your reactions.

I think this is one of the quieter episodes more humor than violence. I think the writers needed to catch their breath after the first 3 episodes.
