  • The Hidden Canyon Overlook Trail is a fun trail north of Moab, Utah that goes to an overlook above Hidden Canyon. The trail is moderately difficult and includes a very fun slickrock section with many ledges to go up and down.
To get to the trail take Blue Hills Road just south of the Moab Airport off of highway 191. Turn off of Blue Hills Road onto Bartlett Wash Road, which is also called Mill Canyon Road.

The parts of this video that look like drone footage were filmed with a 360 degree camera mounted on a selfie stick. Here is an Amazon affiliate link to the 360 degree camera:

Really great video! I love the idea of using the Insta 360 ONE X with the extended selfie stick. Basically makes for a drone-like shot!

Well, the video was good but the sound was not. Loved seeing what the trail is like but would have liked to see more of the view at the overlook...

Is the trail more obvious in person than on the video. Looks easy to get lost.

I actually did get lost at one point. You have to follow the tire tracks and black morks on the rock closely.
