I want to put a holosun 507k on my sig p320 x5 what plate do I need if I need 1 at all.

The plate that comes with the eps carry mrs doesnt fit the hellcat flush, needed a C+H plate.

I used the supplied screws that Holosun SCS came with for my Sig P365 and they worked. Is that the same onna Sig that we need new screws?

I do prefer the holosun, only thing is the "k platform" isnt cut into many handguns i hate using the plate therefore i carry the defender on my hellcat both optics are great and vortex has now fixed the early issues with it. I wish more guns would just come with a k cut i feel my holosun is being kinda wasted on a PSA micro dagger that i dont carry

You may want to test the laser cartridge by marking the side of the laser and rotating the cartridge in the breach 3 or 4 times the see if the beam is really concentric with the barrel and lf the beam alignment with the Red Dot's 'dot' moves when rotated.

I wish someone would make a red or green dot in which you could cycle between 3 and 6 MOA and not have to buy one or the other.

Excellent vid!!! Really appreciate the no-nonsense and direct approach to the information. Just got a p365 optic ready and need to make a decision. However, I do also have another p365 that I purchased about a year ago that is not optic ready... foolish of me but no-one really offered it to me when I asked. Two questions would be what are some of the benefits to the holosun optics vs others? Just a general sense of difference. Second, is what is the best way to get my previous sig optic ready? Should I try to trade in or sell or machine? The non optic sig has never been fired and is in pristine condition.

So this is an rmr to rmsc adapter plate correct? Or is it specifically for holosun optics?

Can you run the 407c/507c without an adapter plate?

Mmm this is basic to get on paper.. if you do this properly you have to clap in the firearm use graph paper on the wall verify level on both.. you also need to adjust for height over bore vs distance.. I do this with all my long range rifles and scopes.. there is a very specific method to this that with a little math gets perfect.. For basic pistol or rifle red dots though.. I just prefer to take a vise to the range.. lock it in.. fire one shot on paper and then adjust the dot to the poi from the previous pos point.. 1shot zero.. then if a rifle dot I’ll move it out to various ranges and confirm to get the last fine tuning down.. when I zero I want all human variables taken out of the equation all together.. I know and see a lot of people who cause they shoot low left adjust the dot low left to compensate for bad trigger pulls.. or bad grip etc.. then I pick up the gun and I’m like woah.. you’re optic is off 3” at 15yards.. People use these especially on pistols to handicap themselves from poor shooting techniques. You want to know where the firearm is shooting not where you’re shooting.. So yeah if you boresite it and it’s way off at the range.. that is you not the original sighting process. Hell I can take a bolt gun oil the bolt look down the bore to a target and setup a scope so nothing more needed.. assuming the optic is actually square and level on the gun which often isn’t the case either.. And how you even torque the screw of any optic in any mounting system to the gun will have a major impact..
