    Had an iDash in my Canyon, which transitioned to the Silverado shortly after the pods became available. Absolutely a great addition to the truck. Really easy to install, too.

    FYI, you can set a background alert for REGEN ON and the gauge will flash letting you know it is active. Just an idea since you are not monitoring the ON status on your primary screen.

      I just bought a 24 chevy silverado with the 3.0 and max tow, and this is my first diesel vehicle, could you explain why i should be aware of the regen monitoring? Is there something important i should do when is performing it?

    • @MauriceJonesJr
      @MauriceJonesJr 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@alexdel00 because you want to keep driving when Regen is active. It isn't good for the emissions system to shut the engine off mid-regen. You need to let it complete to clear the DPF out completely.

    I got a scratch on my bed, what are my top 3 options? It’s deep enough that I can feel it with my finger nail. I had some acorns I sat on in the bed of my truck scratching in, thin deep lines. Worried about if it will rust over time. Not wanting spray in bed liner before that’s a suggestion

    • @DemonWorks
      @DemonWorks  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Mine has worked in my 23 and the 24, some others report it not working in their vehicles. The workaround for that is to select the 20-21 lm2 in the options but then you lose the transmission and some other parameters

  • @jonnybakes9337

    Any idea why it’s not displaying DPF regen % for me? Unplugged it and plugged it back in and it showed up but then my fuel level wasn’t showing up and I switched pages and when I went back to my original page the DPF % was gone and the fuel level was back.

    Have you messed with the edge module? They claim a decent HP and torque gain

    • @DemonWorks
      @DemonWorks  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have not, because it's only for the 20-22. I can see the HP / TQ gain with the way the device works (fooling the ecm into thinking the fuel pressure is less and boost is less so it commands more) but that's going to lower the mpg since it's always adding additional fuel. The dash will be off since the ecm is no longer calculating so the mpg numbers would need to come from hand calculations which I think would show false. I also dislike their claim of warranty friendly, it's not. All that aside, I do think it's a good unit on paperand wouldn't mind giving one a try when they are available for the newer trucks.
