For $600 dollars you think the peddle monster would work and the gauge would have been made better.
What happens if you lose the power source from the OBD plug? Does the unit still revert to OEM or does it do what the Pedal Commander does when it fails.
When you lose power from the OBD plug, the normally closed relays latch shut and seamlessly return you to stock throttle response. Heck, we often show our customers how it works by having them remove the OBD cable as they’re driving down the street.
Thanks for the infos and comparison. Just a correction about the feutures of each product. Sprint Booster have transmission (manual/auto) option too. I think is fair to said that in the name of a fair comparison. Keep up the good work :)

Does operating a Ham Radio in the vehicle affect the pedal monster? I used to have a pedal Commander in me Jeep, but had to remove it. I found that any time I was transmitting on my Ham radio, my throttle would accelerate. The 1st time it happened I was on trails in the back country and it nearly took me off the road.. Is pedal Monster shielded from outside transmissions from devices like a Ham Radio?
We have checked with our engineering dept., the PedalMonster is not internally shielded. However, if the HAM Radio causes interference, PedalMonster will kick into safe mode and return to module back to stock.

So banks Power the question is if u already have a tune installed can u still install pedal monster or will it affect the current tune i have. i do have the 66560 i dash gauge and love it.
Ok since this is a BANKS POWER video, Let me ask this question. Does this product reduce or eliminate the time it takes for the pedal to be pushed and the throttle plate to respond? AKA LAG. I don't want more voltage applied than what I am requesting. What I want is when I request 50% 75% or 100% throttle. does it do it instantly or does it take 1, 2, or even 3 seconds for the throttle plate to respond? My 2013 Ford Expedition takes almost 3 seconds to go full throttle when floored. This happens from a dead stop or any cruising speed. For example, getting ready to pass on a 2 lane road. I have to push the pedal 3 seconds before I am ready for it to react when I want it to pass a vehicle. Anticipation is making me wait. I really feel this is dangerous. I recently was rear-ended in a similar vehicle. I feel it could have been prevented or lessened the blow, if it would have went as soon as I floored it to avoid being hit in the rear.

Side note ... how do you like the Running boards ?? Do you happen to live in a snowy cb area ?? I’m worried about longevity in the great white north
@@derekchauvinisahero2010 I'm honestly in the market for a new, over-priced, Ram 3500. If the truck I get doesn't have AMP running boards, I'll install them. I don't plan on driving the truck in the winter, but if I did, I'd consider unplugging them in slushy/snowy conditions, as well as making undercarriage car wash visits a couple times a week. The salt used on roads in my state, destroys vehicles within a year or two.
Hey could you guys do a video on the EPA changes & how/if its affected or going to affect you business. Cheers
It would be different for every vehicle.
I’m looking to upgrade from a ram 1500 hemi to a Ram 3500 diesel. I’ve been looking at all your parts for the ram and wondering for the petal monster if there is a high idle control as part of the firmware available for the diesels.
Mines built into the cruise control. Mine is a 2015 4500. I can idle it up while parked.

Thanks. I have given it a try.
For others
In park engine running, cruise on, press set-, then res+ to increase rpm.
On my 2020 Ram3500 Cummins HO
Does it work on a dodge ram 2021 classic v6?
Got one of these for my own 6.7 and it is fantastic. Look at Gale stylin’ in those Cole Haan’s 🤠 Oh - and get yourself a data monster, too.
Would be nice for my 04 suburban it's drive by wire.
Heard some things about pedal commander …Any opinions about it guys ?
👌👍 LOVE THAT "GOOD OLD AMERICAN" KNOW HOW !!!🤙😍😍😍😍😍
67👍's up Mr Power thanks again for taking us all along with you for the great news
I love the OBD-2 tie in for all these features and safety, but can an OBD-2 splitter be used? I've got a JB4 occupying the port. *EDIT....y'all sell a splitter, seems likely it can be used. Very nice...
Did you ever get an answer?
Yes, I have amp steps plugged into one and the pedal monster in the other. For anyone else seeing this.
Will it work with a truck that has efi live ?
Yes indeed. PedalMonster can be “stacked” with an existing ECM tune.
The fact that this uses the obd port really sucks for me because a have a RANGE AFM delete I really don’t want to get rid of it is there another way
They sell a splitter
I see no BMW cars listed on your site :(((((((
I have my P3 Gauge connected to my obd2 port at all times. So is there any other way I would be able to use the pedal monster?
Is the OBD connection only used for 12V power, or it will interacts with the OBD system?
It also reads the computer for the gear selection. It does not flash the computer.
With the DmaxRyno cutaway!
Will it still improve and work with a deleted 6.7?
Yes, the PedalMonster will work with all types of tuning.
Would this work on my wife's 2013 Sxt V6 Challenger and any special codes for the labor day coming up. Let me know so I can snatch one up. Best regards. Great video
Not only does it work with your wife's Challenger, but one of the Challenger forums has been talking so much about the PedalMonster that it's become one of our top sellers. 👉 www.bankspower.com/i-2935
@@bankspower thank you. We currently have the pedal commander in her car and just the other day the car went into limp mode 3x. This is the 2nd unit. Hopefully power will be equal with the added safety features. Thanks again
May car is tuned. Will this interfere with the tune or wipe it out?
Typically, it will not. It should stack with no problem.
So banks Power the question is if u already have a tune installed can u still install pedal monster or will it affect the current tune i have. i do have the 66560 i dash gauge and love it.
You can stack the PedalMonster on top of the tune. PedalMonster is intercepting the signals for the pedal module only, not modifying the ECM.
@@bankspower thanks much appreciated.
Is this why my 2013 f150 5.0l has a lag spot between 50-75%?
Most likely. For you truck, here's the kit that you'll need. bankspower.myshopify.com/products/throttle-controller-64311-pedalmonster-throttle-sensitivity-booster-for-use-existing-idash-or-derringer-for-many-cadillac-chevy-gmc-chrysler-dodge-ram-ford-jeep-lincoln-mazda
