Luca Antinori I’m pretty sure Sonic didn’t have a role in SSE. He just appeared at the end (could you even use him). Wolf, Jigglypuff, and Toon Link, served as secret unlockable characters. Plus, you can still unlock them after you beat Subspace, and go to the three places to fight and unlock them (I think the map hints at where they are). They even get their own cutscenes. Now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure that G&W only had one cutscene, when they found them controlling the Halberd
@Otacon464 I didn't play subspace by myself, I played it with my cousin back in 2012 or 2013, I was 12 at the time, and it holds a special place in my heart, I always enjoyed watching these anime-like cutscenes when I played it with him, and I dont even watch anime.
I feel like Masterpieces sort of predicted the NES/SNES Classic, and that Smash Bros 3DS’s Classic Mode kind of predicted Ultimate’s World of Light. Also, I feel like a StreetSmash is a bit like Pool but you hit the Billiards off the pool table until one billiard remains. Street Smash is quite like Ohajiki as well. Lastly, Ultimate’s Squad Strike reminded me of how you can use several characters in some matches and boss fights/mini boss fights in Brawl’s Subspace Emissary.

I wish it was in Ultimate. It would probably be take way too much time to put in stages for every character though. So I’d like them to make around 15-20 stages for every character to play on so it’s not stale.
The cutscenes in brawl are the best like the characters actually interact and express emotions to each other from different games. It just somehow feels really cool fun satisfying and sometimes hilarious
I would really want to see a upgraded version of subspace because that was an actual adventure unlike Melee which felt like classic mode 2.0 to me and ultimate had the adventure of the over-world and the cutscenes but lacks with platforming
Nathanial: says “each character and boss is related to the character’s universe” Also Nathanial: shows an inkling fighting Marx I know that each character has a different boss, but I don’t think that Marx is in any way related to inkling

@@britfish9157 i feel like a lot of bosses make sense thematically (rathalos in marths dragon themed classic mode, marx in rosalinas space themed classic mode), but the oversaturation of master hand/crazy hand gets a bit tiring, especially considering how hard the fight is. even roy, who has a sword themed classic mode, fights the hands despite ganon wielding swords
