Thank you for the shout out!! It was a pleasure working with you on the Melee portion. I'm very proud that you tackled the other games too. Well done!!
Hey Nathaniel, I don't know if RubberDuckyAssassin mentioned it in his talks with you, but I'm currently the only one (as far as I know) that has done a full challenge board speedrun of Brawl without using hammers. It took me almost 80 hours with somewhat optimized routing, so it's definitely not an easy task. I would be happy to help you out a bit with the sticker/trophy routing for the game if you do get enough likes to try again, since I have a good amount of ideas from my run and what you attempted here that could potentially spare you some pain next time around. If nothing else, I respect you for trying the full challenge - I genuinely hallucinated a bit during my run, so I can't imagine doing it for almost two weeks straight. It truly is a mind-numbing challenge haha
I don't think he mentioned you! If you have contacts with him, feel free to shoot him a message since I might come back to this and finish getting 100% in Brawl eventually
@NathanielBandy he asked me a couple of questions about stickers/subspace enemies when he was talking to you, but I'll be sure to keep on the radar if/when you try again!
I’ve just watched the whole video and… wow. This marathon is just so indescribable. The mental health drop you experienced at the start of these, like in 3D Mario and Mario Kart, was probably nothing compared to this. I’m glad you’re reworking the marathons for the future, you really need and deserve it, NB. No one should suffer this much just to entertain an audience, just remember that. Keep up the good work!
I agree with the idea of pausing the timer for breaks, not only do you have so much more control over your life style and can take care of your mental health, but it also makes more sense for the challenge, it's 2 in-game weeks, two actual weeks of time spent soley in the game, instead of being 2 irl weeks, it makes more sense imo, and even tho some people may disagree and think that 2 irl weeks is better, in my personal opinion, the risk is not worth it, and nobody knows how devastating the 2 irl week format is more than Nathaniel himself at this point, so I stand with the decision
I'm always so intrigued by the very small ways Bandy mispronounces words I didn't think could be mispronounced. Like pronouncing "roulette" like the the starter pokemon from Sun and Moon, "rowlet"
27:25 Wow, I was not expecting that reference on a highly prolific TH-cam gaming channel! That bumper gave me the chills as a child, with the music and ghostly background...
I'll be that weird guy. Smash Tour was amazingly fun! My friends spent more time in that mode than any other on Wii U, and something about the chaos of it felt like a perfect vacation from the more competitive style of standard Smash battles that we did.
It’s pretty stupid! There is absolutely no reason it’s not on there yet. It’s not like putting it on there will hinder Smash ultimate sales, either. They made their money on that game, anyway, and they are almost completely different games.
@@jhihowbvow I've played it for my whole life and I think it's worth having on NSO tbh Especially for someone like me who can't lug their N64 through every move. It's a damn shame it isn't already there but it's also not like they have too many big games to add anymore
World of Light takes forever bro. Each battle takes so long to load presumably because of the special conditions for each spirit battle. The experience dragged on real quick.
Yeah honestly I didn't notice on my first playthrough it wasn't until recently when I went back and decided to do ng+ that I realized how slow and numbing it was. Those loading screens really add up
So I checked the doc and as someone who has 100% the game here’s some useful information: - for one it’s important to remember where certain items are in the shop. Misc. fighters spirits like Koopalings and player 2 characters are in the shop. - Also for spirit battles equip eithier Medusa or the great zapfish to be giant and then play Ganon or Pyra and just mash smash attacks to quicken the spirit battles - I also recommend using the hammers for taking out the online challenges and that Sunday flash sale if your not doing this during a Sunday - All the smash challenge can be easily done it’s just setting up the rule sets that are annoying but for example for the robin flurry kill on a level 9 cpu just do it on a walkoff and Ridley skewer either a a level 1 cpu or you control the character. That’s some advice I can give great video
Nathaniel looks insane at the end of this video. Like went through a divorce, lost all his money, fired, almost evicted, severely sleep deprived, and became a conspiracy theorist.
You technically can't 100% Melee without hacking because of the Mario & Yoshi and Samus Unmasked trophies and the milestone obtained from getting them along with every other trophy.
@nintendo-relatedchannel5810 it's almost like a Pokemon event, where you had to physically be there to "upload the trophies" to your memory card. What this actually did was unlock them from deep within the game's code. Both the Mario & Yoshi and Samus Unmasked trophies are on the Melee disc, it's just a matter of how you obtain them legitimately. In this case, it's never unless you hack the game and unlock them that way.
Nathaniel, you are a man of fighting- I mean platform fighters because of this challenge. If you want to become a real man though, you must complete every variant of Street Fighter 2 out there, including remakes! For real, this is an ambitious video. I admire your efforts.
1:11:03 Holy crap, this is the hardest I've ever laughed at your videos in a while. You should be a voice actor for some animated stuff, that was gold.
Really glad to hear you're improving the timer system. Can't wait to see more videos like these next year. Hope to see a mario-rpg or paper mario related one eventually, especially since mario and luigi are back.
"If you remember what a CD factory is, you're at least in your mid 20s, and I probably just awakened a core memory inside of you." I have not been called out by a video this hard in a very long time.
Now we gotta see you take on Mario & Luigi RPG games but heres the catch! You get to beat all the games in a month, very simple enough. Of course Nathaniel you don’t need to do it, was just an idea I thought of! 👍
Ngl Nathaniel, I 1000000000000000000% percent agree with you about the timer. Your not playing the game, if your sleeping and the like. If that timer is one while your said sleeping and such, the game is more playing you. Like with the 2d mario 100%ing you did, you where reviewing mario kart at the same time, so that's LOADS of time chewed up. (I think it's the mario vid. Mainly have your vids for background noise as I play a buggy game.) So, feel free to stretch your rules as much as you need! We're all rooting for you each time in every way! (Also, technically, this means you could redemption arc the ones you didn't finish.)
I thought from the thumbnail that the challenge was '100% every game that has a character in Smash Bros in two weeks', and I was like 'No. I think we can save time working that one out.'
For the new timer, I'd go for 224 hours as the new amount, that's 16 hour days for 2 weeks. or round it down to 200 hours, to cover the bathroom and meal breaks and setups etc etc. being about an hour and 40 mintes a day removed from the timer equivelant.
What I will likely do is look up the average 100% times for each game in a series, and then pick a time that's a lower then the average to see if it can be done
Insane Video and it was really fun to watch. I actually did all challanges on Brawl, Smash 3DS, Smash Wii U and Ultimate without ever using a hammer. I did not do it in 2 weeks of course, I think Brawl and Smash Wii U took me several weeks or months at that time, but I did not feel like its really 100% when I use a hammer. So I still have all hammers left while every achievement is unlocked. And yes, a lot of the challanges are annoying, like completing All Star with every char, but it is not meant to be done so quick. I had fun with it, cause I did it over a long time and when I felt like playing Smash, I could just hop in there alone or with a friend and play the game. It never felt exhausting.
11:51 after all of these years of playing and deleting my melee save file I didn't know that throwing a paratroopa was a thing till I started watching this! Thank you Nathan your truly a lifesaver, I thought I learned everything about this game but nope!.

I knew this was unachievable since the start, Brawl, Smash 4 and Ultimate by themselves are quite difficult to finish under a week each on their own. You probably were unaware of just how difficult this would be but I respect that you even tried it
Good lord, yes PLEASE pause the timer in the future. I can't imagine the stress of having it constantly going. You need to be able to have time off in-between the challenges, otherwise you'll go insane. It'll also give you the benefit of actually *taking days off.* I'm certain that, with the extra rest, managing your mental health, and having more control over the timer, challenges are going to be FAR more enjoyable, and even a bit easier to complete! Either way, I wouldn't beat yourself up too much over not finishing all the smash games. You took on a monster of a project, and the fact you got as much as you did done is insane!! Well done, and please get some rest!!
Hey NB, awesome video! I wanted to share my ideas on how you can continue the series going forward. I’m so happy for you announcing format changes to prioritize your health. I’ve really enjoyed the marathon formatting you’ve had so far because of how you’re able to essentially turn each day into a story for us. It’s a really nice digestible format that leaves super nice stopping points for these longer videos. So what if you kept the “marathon” format similar to how it is, but set limits on playtime per day (10 hours per day?) and don’t have to play all (or any) of the days in a row. You can even keep the clock counting down the number of playing days left and hours left in the session for viewers to see. Another way to continue the series is move away from the “marathon” schtick and really focus on the development and execution of these speedrun routes you’re developing. I really admire the effort you’re putting into the development of these speedrun routes and enjoy when you talk about these optimizations, and I imagine many of your other viewers do as well. You could publish videos answering how long it takes to 100% the game(s) and dive into these routes and how you’re minimizing time loss. Thanks again for taking the time to make all this amazing content for us. Wishing you all the best!
I'm so sad this series is over but it was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed seeing the openings with everyone hoping to pull a consistent strategy but also failing 😂 I really enjoy these "slow" (since twin headed or Maha + 3 equips just end the game) duels since it reminds me of my childhood and the chappy duels of the time. It's just a lot of fun seeing the back and forth. Great job guys and hope you have fun in the next series :)
The funniest part about Ultimate, they keep adding new extra content on Smash Ultimate. More collections = More Content. The Sub Space Emissary will forever be the best story line that ever happened in the series.
@@jumentoqueanima I agree but this guy has 100% many game series and games. All sonic games all Mario kart games all d smash bros game. Some even in an amount of time
such a good watch, congrats on this video. You're a beast for giving yourself such a challenge. It was an honor to work with you, you're a damn legend!
Honestly I think you should just do these to see how long it can take rather then in a time limit. Also suggestion would be all sonic games. But that's a good way to test the how long and it could be streamed. Also stopping and just doing other games in different series in the middle of these challenges would be better

If you want to do this challenge you need to : get 1st pleace in all board , unlock and win every minigames, if there are rank all gets on S , unlock and beat all modes , unlock every achiecement , unlock all characters , beat story mode , get the highest level , ...

I totally misinterpreted the title. Thought it was gonna be a 100% run of every series represented in Smash... somehow.
Could you 100% the MArio party games next, one positive is from my knowlege most don't have a story mode, just stuff to unlock
He should also trying to 100% every paper mario game
1:15:13 Dude, I honestly felt the same way with that event.
1:37 "Floating Polygon Team"
I'm so sad this series is over but it was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed seeing the openings with everyone hoping to pull a consistent strategy but also failing 😂
I really enjoy these "slow" (since twin headed or Maha + 3 equips just end the game) duels since it reminds me of my childhood and the chappy duels of the time. It's just a lot of fun seeing the back and forth. Great job guys and hope you have fun in the next series :)
2 weeks?!?! Brother! We were expecting you to take the whole month!
52:42 Nate's Honey ad. That is hilarious.
20:15 what I do is I hold B, press A to enter the name entry, then I press A again while the game tries to return a screen
The funniest part about Ultimate, they keep adding new extra content on Smash Ultimate. More collections = More Content.
The Sub Space Emissary will forever be the best story line that ever happened in the series.
This dude is insane. He’s 100% multiple games wtf
Almost makes me wanna do the same honestly dude is a machine
@@Swagger_Guy Some games are fun to 100%. I've had fun with most Switch games.
@@jumentoqueanima I agree but this guy has 100% many game series and games. All sonic games all Mario kart games all d smash bros game. Some even in an amount of time
Even 2d and 3d super mario, mainline Kirby games, splatoon, and Luigi’s Mansion
@@angijuan2364 that’s crazy dude
such a good watch, congrats on this video. You're a beast for giving yourself such a challenge. It was an honor to work with you, you're a damn legend!
I hope the other failed challenges are cleared with your new method. I'm down to see the redemption on the other ones.
Yeah it would be fun to see how much time would've been spent to complete the remainders of previously failed challenge runs.
The Black Ops 2 menu music at 22:14 !!! What a throwback. I love it!!!!
Had the game since I was 10 years old. Got the 1 million matches screen when I was 22. Was rather surprised to see it!
When are we getting "Can I 100% all Donkey Kong games in 1 week?"
20:14, you’re not supposed to do it with player one, it only works with player three, Meaning that your color should be yellow not red
Wrong timestamp
@@angijuan2364, Fixed
Please 100% all paper mario games
Honestly I think you should just do these to see how long it can take rather then in a time limit. Also suggestion would be all sonic games. But that's a good way to test the how long and it could be streamed. Also stopping and just doing other games in different series in the middle of these challenges would be better
Can YOU 100% every Mario Party in 1 MONTH ?
If you want to do this challenge you need to : get 1st pleace in all board , unlock and win every minigames, if there are rank all gets on S , unlock and beat all modes , unlock every achiecement , unlock all characters , beat story mode , get the highest level , ...
I 100% brawl except boss battle on intense because I have the normal version of the game 😢
Big respect for the timer change going forward. I think we would all rather watch “Can I 100% every Zelda game in 300 hours of gameplay” instead of “Can I survive my next TH-cam video”
1:30:00 EVERYONE! GRIND THE LIKES!!! COMENT THE VIDEO!!! REDEMPTION ARK!!!
I love these Super Smash Brothers games!
55:31 Bandy what is wrong with you?!
Plainrock124 would approve.
15:35 Wobbling would have been broken here LOL
20:25 You're supposed to use the third port for the glitch to work
I predicted the future!?!
Playing smash brothers like this is like eating spaghetti every day
You’re going to get extremely sick of it at some point
22:40 FNAF world music? Random but appreciated
This whole video concept. A lot of new things I didn't know across all games. Thank you for the content and I'm ready for Bandy to conquer more smash!!
Please try to 1000% all of the Crash Bandicoot series (getting full completion in all of the games)
