    Does the 80%20% ratio refer to the volume or the number of exercises?

    Dmitry i have a question for you please: Does the floor press can have a static/relax to dynamic phase just like the box squat or is it only touch and go like in your video? Than you very much.

      @@jims4877 Its very difficult to NOT use the stretch shortening sequence for floor press since it would either fall on your face or in your lap. Maybe you could do a speed Spoto press type deal with it but ive never heard of anyone doing that.

    Interesting to note that some of the lifters touched the bar to their chest, while others did not. Must be due to different physiology, grips etc.

      Yeah seems that way, some of the guys had more mass in the chest area than the others.

    What do floor presses do? I'm weakest at the bottom of my bench press right off the chest so I do bottom up bench press in the rack. Floor presses would seem to work the middle and top portion of the bench press and the lockout?

      qewr4231 Floor press works well for lockout with using chains or bands. Usually with straight weight it helps with start from bottom, but it compare how long your arms. For people with long arms, a bar pretty high from chest on bottom, with short arms, a bar almost touches chest. Floor press works like box squat. It separates concentric and eccentric phase.
