Dylan Moretti Yes, conjugate system works very well for raw lifters too. It is not big difference between raw and gear. focus on your weakness it builds a result.
of course you can throw in weighted dips, I usually do them as a secondary exercise after my main lift and occasionally use as a three to five rep max on a max effort day. Do them like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Franco did with a forward lean focusing on the bottom half. The best assistance lift for benching if you ask me. experiment...in the beginning I found it best to stick to assistance lifts for an entire wave but now I change them more often (especially on the little things like grip, abbs, calves external rotators and isolation moves
D Metti Conjugate definitely works for raw lifters and I would recommend it. The only modifications would be changing the cycle when you are supposed to practice in gear just change it to practicing/training in your singlet or adding on sleeves or something of that sort.
Jacob Markowitz yeah I made it work for me without bands or chains. There’s 100’s of variations you can do without specialty bars. The strongest I’ve ever been was doing conjugate training
Jacob Markowitz I don’t have speciality bars or chains but I do have bands and even just that works for me so yes doing conjugate with only a straight bar and no bands or chains definitely is possible, you just have to think outside the box.
Jacob Markowitz I used to train with a normal raw program without box squats and such but I ended up injuring my knee so I switched to geared lifting and doing conjugate. The difference this change has made is very significant. I grew much more muscle mass, I got way stronger, and the most important to me... I haven’t gotten injured using the conjugate method. To answer how fast I progressed, in the first two months my bench went up 20lbs, my free squat went up 16lbs, and my deadlift went up 13.8lbs... so I’d say I progressed pretty quick compared to my other method of training.
I'm a recent conjugate method convert and I find these vids extremely helpful. Please keep them flowing and thanks for uploading them.

Great videos Dmitry - thanks for loading them up
hi guys. great tips. What type and weighted Bands should I start out with.
Reggie Anglin for benching micro minis or mini bands. Mini bands will be 85 at the top micro minis 55 at the top.
What a bout the purple shorts?!?! Wow
I prefer the grey and white ; )

Would you recommend the conjugate method for raw lifters? Any modifications for raw lifters?
