I absolutely love how, despite the meat arrow being an absolute meme, is also really practical as (unlike to botw) it distracts monsters for quite some while, offering a great opportunity to strike.
I wonder if you can fuse passive items together, like meat with a flashbang berry to blind bokoblins

I’m just blown away by how you can see the surface below you in pretty decent detail from anywhere in the sky. And the literal in game height of the sky is just enormous. Absolutely amazing

The sound design in this game is incredible! The sounds of the Zonai tech is way easier on the ears than the Sheikah tech noises. And the world is beautiful as well, everything looks amazing!!!

This is game of the year. Armoured bokoblins is something I have always wanted as well as seeing how big the boss bokoblins are. Fusing weapons and items together to make makeshift items is all creativity and this game brought back dungeons. I cried when I saw the trailer and its releasing in two days omg I can't wait. The Nintendo team is amazing and this should be game of the year.
I love the sound link made when he broke his neck when he landed on the ground and when he snap his finger to stop the recall ability

Back after buying it and I must say I haven’t put it down once. Far superior to BOTW & feels 10x more like a OG Zelda with tons of lore and Easter eggs. It has TP vibes MM & SS it’s insane 10/10

everytime the ability menu opened i saw a purple version of ultrahand so i wanna see what that is and it was just one down from ultrahand in the menu so it has to be some sort of variation of it
The portable cooking pot already makes me so happy.
Also appreciated the multiple ways that this person messed up with bombs and landed face first into the ground🤣. This will be a fun and funny game.
Just ten seconds in and my mind is already blown up. The water splashing up and then crashing back down like bullets. Incredible.

I have learned you can throw Ice Chu jelly like a snowball, this makes me very happy!
Also it turns out the Bomb flowers (great to see them return) do the same thing when thrown, and that means that Link basically has access to natural Grenades! XD

So the elevator thing we saw link on with the guardian arms coming out of the ground is what the new towers will be. Also it doesnt look like these towers come from underneath the ground, but instead look like recently constructed shiekah towers due to the design.
9:40 Interesting. In the description of the Sundelion, it says "can restore health depleted by gloom". I wonder what Gloom is? Maybe a status effect that lowers your max health?
Yeah saw that too. I'm guessing some kinda status effect you get from the malice underground maybe. Since the sundelion says "Soaked in sunlight, it's petals can restore health depleted by gloom".
Maybe the "infected' arm with malice permanently eats away at Link's health or eats away at a separate health bar then when that runs out, it damages you? like in Dead Rising 2 where you had a 24-hour window to get ur infected daughter meds,,,lol?
@@melz4766 I doubt it's a permanent status related to the arm, that would be really annoying and this game, like its predecessor, is a lot about freedom, not putting limitations or encumbrance on the player. From the descriptions we've seen, it's likely that some damage sources deal damage that make the empty hearts it takes turn purple and need special food to heal

Something that people probably didn't notice is the cape, it still does clip through your shield and weapon sometimes, but its a lot better then it is in botw
Honestly I really wish they had it to were the cape went over your sowed and shield and not the other way around. But I’m happy that they at least improved the look so that the clipping isn’t as distracting.

I'd love to see a a throwing spear with Long Throw upgrade, fused with a bomb fruit. I wonder if it's any stronger than an arrow with a bomb fruit, or just throwing the bomb fruit itself

Raiding enemy camps was one of the coolest part of botw for me

I like how bullet time now consumes a set amount of stamina instead of constantly using stamina. Hopefully bullet time related glitches will be easier now

I really like that bullet time doesn't continually drain stamina and instead takes a predetermined amount of stamina per arrow. In one fell swoop, they don't over penalize a new player unused to aiming and lining up their shot and it balances veteran players shooting their entire inventory of arrows as fast as they can.
It's a very nice balance that lowers the skill ceiling and the skill floor at once.
It will be hilarious if, when trying to cook it, it blows up in our face.

I feel like Big Bokoblins were inspired by both the Hinox of BotW and the Moblins in Skyward Sword. Their size appears to be in between those 2

Can we talk about how good the game looks? From this gameplay alone you can see how much smoother everything is compared to botw
Try BotW on PC with emulator. Even on a normal PC, you can run it Ultra 4K, 60FPS or 120FPS, buttery smooth.
It's a shame that this is looking good but only on Switch. Bring it on PC I say. But knowing Nintendo...they would rather sue than bring their games on PC.

I’m paying close attention to the sound design. I love how spacious the new sounds and music feel. Even more floaty than the last game… Also, is it me, or is the FOV diminished a little bit? Link looks a little bigger and closer to the camera in this game. I hope that is the case. I feel more detached from the character when the FOV is too wide.
Some serious nods to Braid with that Recall mechanic. This looks phenomenal.
I shivered at the sight of the korok. If there’s 999 or more of them now then there’s better be a damn good incentive to collect them this time.

I guess it might be something to do with the underground but we’ll have to wait and see
What I assume is that since the underground will be damn near pitch black (as shown by nintendo commercial for the game) Gloom will possibly be associated with that and possibly fending off whatever lurks.. (ReDeads? they're the only thing we havent seen on the surface or sky islands)
Says it's soaked in sunlight so yeah gloom likely some underground status aliment. There was some of the red malice in different video where they used that arrow with the light making plant so maybe underground has malice infused enemies that inflict gloom with attacks

The fact that there's even new enemy drops to help us make even more weapon combinations makes me infinitely more excited. 16 days can't pass quick enough. Also was there something new with the cooking? I didn't notice any changes to the cooking in that clip.
Also the Radial wheel for choosing runes is so much better than the previous method of switching runes. This will be much quicker (well in reality it will only shave off a few seconds but it will still be helpful for the speedrunners)

That bomb flower at the end means that it’s used best for throwing spears.
Bomb arrows, Bomb spears, or merely throwing them. Sometimes, even dropping one downhill to roll into enemies or obstacles, too. Heck, maybe even cook it for some explosive flavours!
You went straight to the tower, then made it a point to get close enough for us to see the inside... Your a Hero
I like the approach of this video to give no commentary and just show gameplay. Because it is easier to me to make my own assumptions not being primed by interpretation and commentary

The Boss Bokoblin is actually much larger than I originally thought
Maybe it's replacing the Hinox since I haven't seen any, makes sense as they were too easy by themselves
@nuno oliveira Nah, there's been a Hinox in one of the trailers. I remember it has a stump-like spiky horn you can probably use to make a powerful club. I'm guessing boss bokoblins are more like encampment leaders than solitary beasts.
@@sillykola50 Cool, I hadn't seen it. The boss horn seemed to round up the bokos so you can't pick them off one by one.
It looks like that teleportation to the tower just puts you directly in the middle of the enemy camp!

Snatching the stick away before the Bokoblin could grab it is the funniest thing I've seen all day. I can't wait to do this when I get the game!
